  1. Bored, so decided to do this:
  2. Ah right, fair enough. In other news my Playstation is fixed and had been returned to the g.parents pick up house, but I don't think I can collect it til Friday. Fook. At least Uncharted 2 should be here at the same time roughly.
  3. What's the catch with this? Is it that they are releasing it a long time after the release date? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BRAND-NEW-PS3-TEKKEN-6-PRE-ORDER-ONLY-19-99-WHOLESALE_W0QQitemZ250515895203QQcategoryZ117562QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp4012.m8QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DMW%26itu%3DUCC%26otn%3D15%26po%3DLCA%26ps%3D4 Bloody good deal for Tekken otherwise at £20.
  4. Just shelled out £36 for this on eBay because I have no other way of obtaining it. Hopefully the PS3 will return this week and I will get to play this beast before the weekend.
  5. Cue Diageo pretending that he understood Choze's post.
  6. I remember seeing a programme called 'Pimp my Snack' or something, and they called their similar creation the Jaffa Quake. But yours looks mighty impressive so well done!
  7. Celebrating his Birthday One More Time. We're gonna celebrate. Yes Daft.

    Borderlands

    Amusing video: http://uk.ps3.ign.com/dor/objects/957207/borderlands/videos/borderlands_spc_realgamer.html
  9. Pacific Rift was strange as the level of enjoyment you can have from the game alternates with each session. Sometimes it's brilliant, sometimes it's average. Definitely worth getting though, especially for that sort of price.

    Borderlands

Aha, good stuff. May have to slip in my pre-order tomorrow.
  11. Man I can't wait to jump in the fray. This and borderlands within 2 weeks, NO WAY can it be this good. AND TEKKEN... Jesus Christ. October wins!
  12. I played it on normal and whilst you may die once or twice at the start, I that adds to the tense atmosphere, especially when exploring the world for the first time - not knowing what to expect. You become powerful sooner or later and in the end you just feel totally badass. As I've said before, I'd love to play it through for the first time again, it really is special. Best game this generation, the retroness/dated feel only heightens my impression of the game.
  13. It sucks ass doesn't it? That extra fiver means a lot to me even if it's partly just psychological. Give me another Lethargic Gamers episode, and give me a mention for being your number 1 fan, because I am! Not as obsessive as the Flight of the Concords fan but still, a fan.
  14. Talk about hyperbole. If you really fit that description I feel for you, maybe if you went to spec-savers you'd think differently of him.
  15. I've mentioned my dislike for him before because whenever I've seen him I facepalmed. Got raped for it in the thread but I seriously don't get that guy.
  16. I think I'll be attending Aston Villa vs. Chelsea this weekend. Another opportunity to see the overrated John Carew, should be a good game though.
  17. Anyone tell me how many more T: DM multiplayer maps there are? There were 4 in the beta I think, (Ice, Temple, Village and Plaza) other good ones?
  18. Yeah but I wouldn't say you're an average gamer. Nice avatar btw.
  19. When did you get your system S.Cookie? Was it after E3 this year, and have you got a huud tuuv?
  20. Is this game going to be a 1 sitting affair because it's so good? I'll probably buy it next week.
  21. Whilst not playing disc games for however long, I've not really been anticipating playing the major releases. October has kind of crept up and Borderlands has popped out of nowhere and nudged its way into the 3 or 4 games I'll buy this this year. I don't think people have come to terms with how badass that game is going to be. It's going to be similar to last year where I read up a bit about Fallout 3, suddenly it came out and I realised I could buy it. Hotly praised, expansive 3rd party game - just like Borderlands, in the shops at a similar period of time. I'll be enjoying that in the relatively near future that seems pretty distant as of now.
  22. Speculation around the web always means that curiosity kills the twat. I just can't help myself - kids can't be deprived of their candy, especially when it's viewable through a misty yet transparant window. Edit: Even if it is bad for their teeth. Yup, that's a surprisingly good one.
  23. I'm not sure, I'm just following Jayseven's ghost and reading through the Boderlands Wiki. Still very sketchy information, not just this site either. More games should keep the info lock down like this, that way I can play through them without knowing who dies and who shags who.
