Trailer is decent but it isnt that revealing of new features. My worry is that the maps look the same, and having open games all the time might not be so great. If they really wanted to make this special they'll have to put a few more focal points of interest instead of compiling buildings and hills etc. Detail basically, to show that the designers for it do exist.

I thought you gained karma if anything. What was funny about the rescue quest is that I extorted 300 caps from red for saving her at the end, got double appreciation after protecting her village, and then she's collared fr slavery. Brilliant!

I already blew the shit out of Paradise Falls on my good playthrough when the trophies weren't out. I have to say it is fun being evil, pick pocketing and just not having to care about your actions is quality. I'm trying to max out both science and lockpick, with high sneak and overall weapon damage (not beam weapons).

Been playing a bit of Fallout to get the trophies I missed when the patch released late. Feel a bit cruel, I saved Red and someone else from the super mutants in the Big Town quest, only to now send Red to the slavery camp of Paradise falls. In in the name of trophies. Good stuff.

Didn't I say something a while back saying they'll probably stop the trophy ding/appearance during the action? If not I definitely thought it, and don't other games use it anyway? In effect.

Yeah count me in for that. After selling everything I dont have much to play anyway so I dont mind playing a ton more.

I take my comment about BC2 being the best multiplayer shooter back. I relived the awesomeness that it KZ2 with a friend for around an hour, was brilliant. Obviously I will still be getting BC2, and it is amazing in its own way - though I feel snipers are too powerful - but the brilliance of KZ2 goes underappreciated.

Just got my PS3 back, restored it but, not much info actually carried over. Just some users and some music. Gonna have to get all the game data utility back on there, plus I'm gonna have to live without my wipeout save, which isnt too bad really because I never played it after getting the DLC trophies. Hopefully will get to play BC2 beta again before the night is out.

I saw Woss yesterday, didnt really dig anything that great out of his guests like usual. I like the guy but he doesnt delve enough, plus he fails to come across as genuine when talking about biographies/films etc.

None of the boss weapons I found useful really, not even the elephant gun. The eridian beam weapon thing was decent for a while though.

I have a real urge to buy this again so I can play it at a friends house. Taking it in turns on hard-mode is something Id really think would be fun, and seeing as I only completed it once, it is almost definitely worth doing.

I loved Resistance 2. I still have the occasional bash online, it just has a very arcadey and strict play style that needs to be learned. They might mix it up in 3, which would be nice, but the only thing Id really fault was the lack of co-op variety and the story/bosses in the campaign. Other than that it was a romp. Worth platinuming. The sight of that Resistance 3 billboard got me contemplating and a teeny bit excited. No other title is going to perk my interest as much as this game. Who knows what theyre going to do with it. Im expecting some polished graphics after Insomniac mentioned their change in focus from frame rate to visual quality after surveying gamers about what they found important.

I found that too, they arent that great in this game, dont feel meaty enough. Irrelevent to power ratings, some rocket launchers are better than others despite what stats say (true with a lot of weapons). Your best bet if aiming at the floor in front of them, but Im sure you do anyway.
