I disagree. I wouldn't worry about playing number 1 right now. Otherwise you'll be playing both in quick succession which will just get boring, and there's not really a great carry over between the two character-wise so basically just ignore Shorty.

Fallout 3 Just brilliant, there's simply too much greatness in this game for it not to be considered as one of the best games of this decade. Whenever I play it I always want to finish everything in one sitting, which is impossible for obvious reasons. The smaller details make it a special experience, and collecting stuff is just addictive. Much moreso than in Borderlands anyway. I'm trying to obtain the platinum trophy, still got a while to play before that though.

Finally obtained every bobble head. Also managed to pass the speech check one through a speech check glitch, which is bloody handy because it is very difficult. 'All' I have to do now for the platinum is hack 7 more terminals, finish the last quest, which will be piss, and then get the different levelling trophies (reach level x with x karma). The Broken Steel add-on has made exploring a lot harder, the Albino rad-scorpions are so god damn plentiful, and don't even get me started with the quantity of overlords... They both take unbelievable amounts of lead.

Lol it wasn't that good. I don't really regret selling the game even though I thought I would. Probably because I'm happy to replay older games for now.

By the way, use the assault rifles, aim down the sights and shoot with R1.

Forgot to say also, use their crossbows if they have any. Kills them in 2 shots I believe, maybe 3.

This happened to me a month back, by searching I learnt you can reset the controller by poking the small hole with a needle at the back of the controller (the really small one - if you're looking at the back of the controller it's the one above the label to the top-right) and then the system will recognise it once plugged in. When I read about it I thought it was a joke but apparently not. Surprised I didn't know about this earlier, I've had the ps3 for over a year.

You can pretty much run in circles while shooting backwards from the hip without getting touched. There's unlimited ammo so it's quite an easy tactic as there's always a couple of seconds to pick up a weapon.

You got fucking lucky there. Think you told me already but that part is shocking. I had about half a clip to take those mothers down on my hard playthrough. Had a bit more on my crushing one and I had to use all of my grenades dropped ammo, sneaky shooting tactics and tons of SAS rounds to make it through, the screen had gone virtually black and yet I passed it first time. That was when I realised I was a man.

I got 4 (out of 5 platinums) this year, due to trophy support becoming compulsory in all 2009 games of course. Have no plans to top that really, don't really get to play as many games as everyone else. Play for the same amount of time though.

American photographer: These are the holding bays where we store the African snacks, at this point we were just waiting for Diego's trademark tongue manoeuvre to inform us he was ready to perform his rib-cage massacre royale. If he didn't do this we probably wouldn't be prepared to film it live due to the ethical issue of not alerting our US viewers to this special attack, as it can cause psychological harm. Thankfully most of the harm is inflicted on the snacks.

Well it's just because that is such an unbelievable lie of a title. That game has so many flaws it should have a self-depricating edition in which it insults itself whenever it produces a rubbish boss, and insults you every 5 seconds because youre playing it.

I'm having to play with a composite/scart connection (whatever you call it) because I knicked an HDMI cable a friend had when they had no use for it, but had to give it back to him at my party last night because he got a huud tuuv for Christmas. Had to wave it goodbye, it was very hard to hand it over. Consequently, Fallout and the XMB look shite once again.

Over 1000 trophies now Daft. Nice. I'm working on the Fallout Platinum, but there's one really shitty one that'll prevent me from getting it - the 50 speech successes one. I'm having so much fun with it again though that I can't really complain.

I was going to suggest that but then some things you have to do instantly, like cough or sneeze or whatever, would be hard to make a pause gesture before doing something like that, especially because the motion probably has to be quite different from the actions you do in the main game.
