I thought the soulless fat ginger was genuine, but the parents video was just a response by actors. I might be wrong, not sure if the south park one came first or not. Edit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lOq-yZ0Q9xM

Wheeeeyyyyyyyyyyy! I find it a bit more than just 'refreshing' that they won't get 4th spot (:

Probably my Wipeout HD platinum trophy. I mention it quite a lot on this forum, and that's because it is hard. And deserves bragging rights. I did one run of MGS4 without being spotted and without killing anyone, which was quite cool. There's been a fair few but overall my biggest achievement really is my completion rate, very rarely do I get beaten. Sometimes my online shooter ability gets to the stratosphere, but I guess those are all individual moments not quite deserving of this thread.

3 goals in 4 minutes by the looks of it at Manchester Stadium. maybe I was wrong. Make that 4 goals in 6 minutes.

Anyone for a boring match of the day tonight? Bar Man City scoring twice in quick succession, nothing has really happened.
-
Chelsea have to drop points twice now. Whilst I think that will happen, their challengers also have tough run-ins, so I think it's Chelsea's year. Darn.
-
It isn't displayed by your points though is it? Or is it? The average position should be the thing that comes next to your name. Why am I arguing about MK Wii? You can all continue this endless debate.

But there are a few grams of funnyness in there. That's what I'm saying. I do believe people overstate the badness (though I have only seen 2 episodes) - I can understand why they think it is poor, but the extremity of the opinions is quite bedazzling, even harsh. The humour is obviously better suited to a forum but I won't discourage you from making these because there is slight portent for a properly good episode.

We definitely didn't set it up wrong, there's only 4 tick boxes aren't there? I can't remember but we tried to turn down the shit to a great degree. I snaked. It is skilful in a way, isn't cheating either. It was annoying to use in a way but fun at the same time because beating certain people relied on it. The MK Wii online points system is just dumb. The fact that it's temporary and you can tons of points you worked really hard to gain by finishing last, through no fault of your own, made it unworthy of coming back to in order to improve. Better off not having a system if you're just going to implement a half hearted one. They should've just done a modal average position system, including info like how many races taken part in.

Yeah I'm the same as Giz. While it isn't the best 9 minutes you could spend, it's fairly entertaining. Sometimes it's just interesting to see what makes you tick to be honest Rez, to see a forumer in video form is interesting in a weird way. Plus your methods of getting around a completely amateur video set-up is funny in an awkward sense.

That sounds like something you ripped straight from comedy Rainbow I.e. it's not a contender in this competition I did enjoy your latest episode somewhat though, don't get too downbeat.

Well I've not owned a copy of the Wii version but I've played it a lot at a friends house and we got blue shelled as often as normal. The difference it makes is pretty darn minimal. I had great online races in the DS version, and I never quit races. There are many people out there like me that didn't quit either, and with an even-ish playing field I found it was much better than the Wii version online, bar the actual match making.
-
I found virtually no difference when I did that. Plus I'm pretty sure you can't have that option online.
-
Is it obvious where those rings are? And can you have as many rings as you like?

I haven't played the SNES version but I'm pretty damn sure MK: DS kicks its ass. I've played Super Circuit, DS, Double Dash and Wii. For me the DS version is miles ahead. I thought snaking was pretty cool, the items weren't utterly ridiculous (i.e the bullet bill was nowhere near as frequent or powerful like in the Wii version) it had a retro feel yet still played really smoothly and looked great. Plus the online was fantastic, and the tracks were superb. The Wii version went massively overboard on the item rape. Turning off items doesn't solve the problem either, because then it's just boring. You want to have that feeling of chaos without the bullshit.

Sounds good to me. Whilst I want this to be an independent experience, what non-game-breaking tips could you give me that'll save me from some annoyances? I'll add you on PSN now.

Managed to bag this bad boy from a UK seller for £36.50 incl. postage, which is a much better deal than I was expecting. Plus I reckon that this game is a bit of an investment as well, could be worth a bit more in a few years time, if not, it's definitely retaining its value. Can't wait.

"Hey, from over there does it look like I'm talking to a complete penis" (I hope you weren't intending the double meaning there, otherwise I'm definitely looking like a dickhead)

I love the 'I'm solid' look he's going for during the vid.

I thought it was OK Rez. I hate the Dr. parts though.
-
The funny thing is you can. I.e. it's a real video on Youtube, bloody hilarious (although some bits spoiled because laughter drowns out lyrics)

Has anything radical come of this bill yet? Apart from it getting through in the first place?

That sounded like such a shit story, and yet the man managed to give the synopsis without even a hint of a smirk. "Man investigates dark spell that's been cast around world which stops the souls of the dead from leaving." OK fair enough it could still have a few interesting little plots despite sounding very familiar. "His wife is murdered and he is sent by the Brotherhood of Light to investigate" Getting a bit childish here with the storyline, though you can't completely knock it yet. "He finds out that each of the Lords of Shadow holds a piece of a relic called the God Mask" Videogame bullshit.

I vaguely remember someone last year posting something they'd bought to treat their hay fever, Something like a one-off usage thing for £10 from boots or something similar. I really don't want the annoyance of hayfever, and the constant medication needed for it, so if anyone knows what I'm on about I'd appreciate the help
