That's a bit insensitive isn't it? People have a right to have a discussion about quite a serious issue and you just belittle it. I thought it was atrocious how the guy was trying to force the man to give him permission to shoot. I'm disappointed in as much that I would've mowed them all down in half the time that American took. Inefficient.

It does look awesome, and meaty. It's just the price really. I like such games where fairly few have experienced it too, probably feels more special when playing it to know that you're part of a select group. From videos it seems to have that Zelda loneliness vibe which I simply can't get enough of. Plus RPG elements can only mean I will fall in love with it. Plus I love dificulty, so it must be the perfect game? (Except my skills in the 3rd person fighting genre are pretty awful, though I figure this is highly different)

Half-life 2 is nothing like Halo. The actual shooting wasn't that great in HL anyway.

I read that as 'for utter losers, like Daft' for a second. Would've been post of the day.

At the start of this year I had pegged these as the best upcoming games for the system, thing is, the bold ones are the only ones I really would like: God of War 3 The last Guardian Yakuza 3 ModNation Racers MAG Demon’s Souls Gran Turismo 5 The Agent GTAIV Liberty City Stories Fallout: New Vegas Even Demon's Souls / Demons Souls / Whatever is a bit of a maybe. What stuff is missing from that bunch?

Not the case in my view. Many things he has said were just not an issue or worth commenting about. And it is true that most of his reviews are pre-determined in his perception of a game. It's unlikely his mind will change during the playing process and will impact on his review.
-
It is that entirely. I'm pretty sure he's liked the games he has reviewed in a negative manner, but he knows that the piss-taking is funny and gets hits. Only when he plays something really special will he feel the need to truly compliment it. I love his reviews, and don't mind when he slates the ones I like because I know he does the above, and he usually makes a lot of good criticisms anyway. Never will any of them be enough to make me question why I am enjoying the game so I welcome Yahtzee more than any real reviewer. (I guess you'll largely agree with this Sheikah, bar the last few words)

I read that comment last night actually and thought you were a liar.

That's all you really need! (As long as you're getting the good games in those series) Timesplitters 2, SSX, Ratchet and Clank, MGS2, Gran Turismo 3 (never played 4), Tekken Tag are highly recommended by me. Crazy Taxi if you haven't got it on another system or have fond memories of it, and Resi 4 if you've not got the GC/Wii version.

Hargreaves is back soon (in the squad against Bayern). He could still make a difference this season.

I had a couple of frustrating weeks on BC2 where overall I seemed to be playing at an average level, not managing to concentrate well enough, missing shots I should've hit, etc etc, until the previous few hours. Had one of the funnest sessions on this tonight, some really amazing Rush games. In one of them I got 70 kills, 40 deaths, using the M16A4/Abakan/PP2000. Played alongside Cooky, who was doing intense, as well as 2 other really good squad members. We got something like 18,000 points together. I really felt like I helped the team, and felt I was being helped a ton too. It was such a great game because the opposition were far superior to the rest of our team, yet our squad was good enough to win it and blow up the final bases. The game was really long as well. The defenders pushed far up to our spawn points, making it difficult to mount any assault. Our squad slowly pushed up, taking out tons of people, whilst making sure that always one person stayed alive (i.e. me) to spawn on. This enabled the other 8 players to get closer to the objectives and away from the choke points. There were tons of insane moments but I'll save you the boredom.

Jon Bon Jovi's latest invention was less than rock n' roll. It lacked meat and couldn't kick much Robutt.

That's one of the crazier episodes of Who I've seen. As always, there were so many "how"s and "what-if"s that the impossibility and weirdness of everything just flies over your head and you get pulled in. New doctor did a good job I think. Probably won't watch the rest of the series though, just not a great fan, it's on too early and being out/staying on the PC or game-console prevents me from sticking with it.

The PSP favourites on the store is actually a good idea, some of the prices seem pretty acceptable.

There's loads of crazy shit you can do. Probably my best moment was when me and a friend were defending the first base on Port Valdez. He managed to steal an ATV, I put 6 lots of C4 on it, he drove up the hill to the left and said 'now' down the headset. With a click of R1, bam, 400 points. He manages to circle the base, coming down the opposite hill without getting the 'you're leaving the map' message. He drives back to where I am standing and I relay the C4, but before he can accelerate he gets camped right in front of me. It was good shit though! ---------- When using the weapons it's good to try out magnum ammo with earlier unlocks. I actually prefer the Abakan to the M16A2 when using it. I couldn't get on with the VSS sniper, it has the same amount of ammo as normal snipers but takes a lot more hits to take people down. Will have another go with the extra ammunition. Except I won't because that sacrifices the scope types... They need to readjust some of this stuff.

Hmmm. I don't know. I might've been playing badly/had bad teams when I tried each map and didn't enjoy them. The vastness of Laguna Presa Rush is incredible though. Some parts of it are incredibly difficult to defend, there's so much foliage in the way.

I S-Ranked Excitetruck and I can tell you now that Pacific Rift is the better game. Some of the tracks are expertly designed, and there's tons of skill to it. The cell shaded PoP is supposedly average and really easy.

You tried any other online games?

I spent a lot of time on Resistance 2 online, it's definitely a great game if you get into the multiplayer. It's arcadey, frantic, but overall very fun. I think the mistake most people made was playing the 60 player matches, when the standard small DM/TD were much better. Plus I think the campaign in R2 is better than KZ2.

I've unlocked the GOL and then had to reunlock it, i may even have had to reunlock all the same stuff as you. Wasn't overly annoying though. The 'new' VIP maps are coming out tomorrow aren't they?

I know but I don't think its a full price game. It's like GTA IV but streamlined, removing the shit bits.

Didn't the title make sense pretty much from the start? From when it is known how the origami killer claims their victims?
