Ah cool, cheers. Don't want to risk searching anything just in case of spoilers. Edit: This...thing is pretty darn good I must say. Just got to Carnaby Street, going to stop before getting too far. Made the origami, got the theme running which is actually very good, I like the subtle changes and it's the perfect thing to have on the XMB background in my opinion. I find the controls to be absolutely fine, no qualms in that respect. I can see myself getting quite emotional

But when I used the code, all I got were the theme and chronicle downloads.
  3. To be honest the graphics should be getting ripped. It looks pretty much identical the Sonic Advance. It lacks style, appears to be to flat planes and the actual detail is poor. They haven't gone for a retro style, they haven't gone for amazing HD visuals with depth in perspective, they've just tried to grab the middle-ground, yet still failed somehow.

My special edition arrived too, it all looks pretty awesome. I'm actually being extra careful with it because it feels really valuable and secret for some reason. Also, how do you get the soundtrack? I downloaded the theme and chronicle but don't understand how to get the music, do you just rip it onto a PC? Don't even know if normal computers can read such disks.
  5. "Wut? I don't need no frickin' manager mode, let me just go ape shit on him!"
  6. I just don't think it looks as good as it should do. The developer may not be able to really make a great looking Sonic game, having only made GBA standard stuff. Is it limited because it's also on the Wii?

I just had my hopes up because people from here got it yesterday.

The pre-order price was originally 39.99, meaning Daft had saved £4. You're asking for £2.50, which is far more than half of the saving. Plus he wouldn't want to share it with anyone from here let alone someone that makes lots of little posts with unnecessary quantities of full stops in a row as if there's something mysterious that's worth reading in them at the end of every couple of sentences.... even though the overuse of line breaks themselves signifies the waste of space that you are. half-joke

How come? Was that a voucher you used? It seems to have gone up in price, at least I will get the previous pre-order price. Yes?
  11. Zone battle is weird. Basically you have to tread a fine line between boosting through zones and keeping your health. My advice is to save up lots of speed pad energy until it's maxed or near maxed, then boost, or if you're running low on health make sure to have 2 zone pads worth of energy before absorbing it. Also, avoid zone barriers like the plague. If you hear the narrator bitch say 'barrier', make sure your finger is above the shield button. And remember, its usually better to fall off the track or scrape the walls for a bit in order to avoid them.
  12. Had such a crap day, committing hysterical doom laughter amid my procrastination of my history essay. Really is strange that kind of laugh, as if you're hoping someone will swoop in to save your dying soul. The hours just floated by with me doing nothing. Managed to almost finish the thing, but god it was a slog. There was a lot of getting side-tracked and leaving the computer to walk around aimlessly so I could briefly escape the dullity (coining this word) of it all. Going away with some friends for a few days tomorrow though which will bring my mood back up from the well it's just been dropped down. My face aches from frowning.
  13. 2 n00bs then? What do you mean not really?
  14. Yeah I caught it on iPlayer in the unearthly hours because I forgot to watch it, stupid holidays. I still like Gervais even if he has overmilked himself (that's a strange way of putting it but hey).
  15. Anyone think another Wipeout HD DLC is possible? Or was StudioLiverpool disbanded? Would really like some new content, played it online after not visiting the game for a while and was enjoying it a lot, the newest patched version (not sure when it was released) seems to have got rid of multiplayer lag. Hopefully the franchise won't die so soon. ------ Also, with so many remakes of games being made these days, why are none of them my favourites? :/
  16. I know. I was just pointing out that such a game existed.
  17. That sounds like Trine, and Trine was shit.

    Fallout 3

Ah well. I'm not alone at least Yet still no information about it can be obtained through Google.

    Fallout 3

Hmmm strange. Did you happen to make a save file just before it happened? If you did you could test to see if it happened again.

    Fallout 3

It was just the sky that went all weird yeah? No enemies were around?

But with that glitch did you hear a sort of gong-like noise before the colours inverted? And I'd be wary about discovering all of those locations, I did and no trophy was given to me (as mentioned). I thought Point Lookout was one of the weaker add-ons.
  22. Latest episode (5) of Newswipe was absolutely amazing. So much clever humour and even a MGS4 joke... Incredible Brooker... The delivery of it is better than he must realise. Brit Awards: Peter Kay was a surprisingly good host, especially for his 'What a nobhead' comment against Liam Gallagher. The whole night he was being quite dry and acting as if he wasn't bothered about presenting the Brits, making gags without reacting to them himself. Probably because he knew the audience wouldn't appreciate or be able to hear them.
