I was shocked when I first heard about this incident - we don't know what went wrong but I just don't understand why a live F1 car would be anywhere near an eye-high truck in the first place. What an absolute tragedy for a driver's career to be cut short like this, or so I would assume.

Yes, It's a good old British summer this year - just like every year - which means it's our own dear Raining_Again's birthday! It's also McPhee's 25th but he doesn't fit into the theme so nyeh. Happy Birthday McPhee and Raining_Again. Hope you enjoy the weather!

All my housemates have left. It's just me now. I'm alone. Time for some good old-fashioned casual nudity.

*Sound of car approaching at high speed* *Sound of car screeching to a stop* *Sound of slamming car door* *Sound of rushed footsteps up to the door* *Sound of door being kicked down* Somebody mentioned this was free-to-play? I loved the original, warts and all. Sorry I'm late.

From Fat/Ugly/Slutty. One has to admire his honesty.

That was pretty boring until the final third when suddenly everything just hit the fan all at once. Absolutely gutted about first Grosjean's breakdown then Lewis getting punted out after having fought so hard all race with 2 laps to go. I screamed in rage when Mclaren failed his pitstop at a crucial moment yet again, they probably pissed away another win right there. I just hope Vettel's outrageous pace doesn't represent a new domination for the rest of the season. Bravo Alonso, Ferrari have obviously improved but with the car they've had he richly deserves a 3rd championship already. Nice to see Schumi finally get his podium too. Also:

So ashamed you posted a picture of him on the internet? Tell your mother I said hi and that she's a saint for putting up with you lot.

Interesting quali, looks like someone's going to get a double tomorrow though. Hoping Lewis has a Canada repeat and manage his tyres better then Vettel can in his Red Bull.

This could be good. It's a good start they've gone for a Die Hard-esque setup. There's also a very Neill Blomkamp/District 9 feel to it. Above all else it's got to be funny. It's got to have some kind of dark ironic humour to it. The Stallone movie knew it but ended up becoming the thing it was supposed to satarise (a fluffy campy buddy-cop comedy). Karl looks effect enough as the Judge himself. Keeping all fingers crossed.

Yes, that was my reaction. In the Pokemon manga set over the following generations post-original series, according to everything I can find. James confesses his love for her in the epilogue, and the last we see of them is standing together with wedding bands and Jessie pregnant. I haven't seen anything that suggests it isn't canon. Sidenote: I had also completely forgotten that fleeing an arranged marriage and growing up in grinding poverty by surving off snow with her adoptive mother was James & Jessie's backstories. That show had some shit going on in there, man.

Life just hasn't been the same since I discovered Jessie & James eventually get married and have a kid, it really hasn't.

This may have been posted in here already but I've only just found it so here it is anyway: A time lapse view of the Earth at night from the ISS. Full screen this mother. It's incredible.

Starfox Adventures would probably have been much better if Retro had developed it.

Flawless performance from Lewis, the race wasn't a thriller but that will be looked back on as one of the great all time drives. He had it all sown up when he destroyed Vettel's lead before the first pitstop, really took everything available and made it work. Poor Button and Michael though, I hope they come back fighting soon. Now to Valencia, my favourite excuse for a nap...

Not bad enough YET?

Happy Birthday! We should File>Import more like you Danny. Glad you're around. -
I've been quite cool on this game but I've just read the impressions on Kotaku and this does actually sound slightly spectacular: Just as long as the world is expansive & varied enough for repeated exploration this could be very cool. It's structure is very Dead Rising to my mind, which is a good thing.

Aliens: Colonial Marines - Stop your grinnin' and drop your linen

The WiiU part of it is definitely looking good, fingers crossed the main game holds up. I'm desperately terrified of getting just a bland FPS with some xenomorphs in it. The alien however was real. -
I genuinely quite shocked by how awesome that looks. That looks like it might be something actually worth buying a WiiU for.

Is Nintendo About to go a Generation Down Already?
gaggle64 replied to Retro_Link's topic in General Gaming Discussion
I'll eat somebody else's hat if Tomb Raider & Watch Dogs still look that good when they come off the dev kit and onto my actual at-home Xbox. We're going back into the debate of whether Nintendo are right to deviate from simply having more power in their machines, and I still think the new ideas they're trying to bring are needed. The strategy of marrying new ideas to current tech is proven, but they've got to use them fully. I'm looking at that Star Wars game which has "Next Gen" stamped all over it and all I can see is a prettier version of what we already have mountains of. It just can't go on. My main concern right now is the absence of solid information on price. I'm guessing a touch-screen controller costs more then some pocket change but they'll need to flog that as low as they dare. -
My favourite thing about new Forza games is that the old one ends up getting released with all it's packs as an absurdly cheap bundle.

And now, I present you with the exact moment I wish I had a PS3 (1:20 specifically).
