  1. Looks like the Wii's really gonna take off in it's "second generation" of games.
  2. Information recieved. Plan adjusted. Seriously after you have the gold why would you?
  3. I can't I'm particulary morally outraged, for the following reasons: 1. There are many, many, many more important things to be outraged about. 2.. It's probably a trap for horny gullible players. And frankly I hope it works, because it's a good one. In fact it's fantastic. "Thanks for gold, meet me at 123 Fake Street!"
  4. I watch for about an hour or so up until about past the bit they let Barbbass go. To me as a Christian the whole thing seemed a bit pointless really. It was like watching the events of the easter story through the eyes of a deeply disturbed and violently psychotic child. Also, don't forget folks: The Passion was a play originally written in medieval times as anti-jewish propaganda. The Nazis regulary put on major productions of it as part of their campaign.
  5. Favourite quote from each: Stewie: "You call those cheap implants breasts? Those aren't breasts. Those are lies!" Stan: "My wife didn't spend eight hours squeezing our son out of her birth canal just so you could shove his face right back in there!" President of Nutronia: "If I die, tell my wife: 'Hello'." Grandpa: "Oh Son, why are you all avoiding me? Is it because you look into my withered eyes and see the grim spectre of death!?" (Brief Pause) Homer: "Yes but there's more."
  6. Nothing as yet. I'll keep you posted...
  7. Battle of Britain A somewhat sterile look at one of the key battles of the second world war. 7/10
  8. I would say both giving in to temptations and being able to rise above them is all an integral part of human nature. This is where the whole concept of moral dilemmas come from. There are plenty of people who do horrible things to others without thinking twice, but there are also plenty of people out there who, despite it all, are indeed able to keep a handle on themselves and not act like a gobshite. So why settle for someone who can't?
  9. Yeah, alcohol is a pretty cack excuse to cheat on someone. It's generally isn't on. Would I forgive someone for cheating on me? I don't think so, it's a pretty unforgiveable thing by default. I would hope to find someone I can trust not to do something like that. Bedrock of a relationship and all that.
  10. 3 I think. 4 if you count The Fireplace episode with the killer robots, but I don't think they were masquerading as anything supernatural. That was an alright episode. I wanna see Martha start to challenge the Doc a bit more. She's an MD student, but at the moment she seems a tad too content just to follow him around like Rose did. I feel like I want her to start challenging what she sees or what the doctor does a bit, give her character a bit of power to wield.
  11. I'm rather enjoying this particular shot/scan:
  12. It's difficult to judge what little weve seen of it so far, the whole game is so stylised some of the stuttering might simply just be part of it's psychotic atmosphere.
  13. Pretty much the first ten season of Simsons are solid gold. About the only reason Simpsons has gone shit is because they've literaly run out of things to write and Fox refuse to let them die.
  14. To be fair, I can't imagine translating 40+ hours of story and dialogue into five different languages is the sort of thing that can be done as a simple two week project.
  15. Well then, I guess were all back to this "depends what you like" paradox, with the 360 and Wii offering such different play experiences. I think it's worth reminding ourselves howver that we've so far seen only a fraction of what the Wii can, it being still so young and yet is still able to compete viruently against the 360, a console now well into it's prime.
  16. Well they would pretty much have to redesign the entire games mechanics from the ground up, as well as rebuilding levels (the Krauser knife fights in particular) to incorperate it without being a hinderence to the player. And then of course most players would just be running around slashing wildly at enemies anyway, so what would be the point? It's not like they can just shoehorn it in with some glue at the end, it would have to something that was part of the design process from the very point of conception.
  17. That's largely because they're both GC ports.
  18. By the sounds of things the only thing you can do is hope for the apropriate patch or driver update, but don't hold your breath. Welcome to the wacky world of cross-generational OS and hardware upgrades. Besides I'm guessing you didn't plump for 4GB of ram and an 8800 just to play Tribes.
  19. Happy Birthday Dante, assuming the English language translates efficently enough into 0s and 1s.
  20. Gamespot are broadcasting a 4-hour SPM marathon in about 5 mins if anyone's interested (and has a lot of time to waste).
  21. My only minor concern at this time (and I'm sure Capcom will reach the same conclusion) is that when I shoot a zombie I don't just want that traditional poofs of blood. I want to able to blow gaping torso holes and limbs off. Surely a must if there is any point in the whole lightgun theme.
  22. Happy B-day Jordan!
  23. So, what happens if it has a controller novelties and also happens to be a good game? Will you simply split yourself in half like bacterium and let each part of you go it's seperate way?
  24. I think you made the best possible choice. Well done sir.
  25. So theoretically I could use my external hard drive currently tethered to my PC for storage, ja?
