As I recall, Prime 3 is supposed to b the grand finale, rounding it off for this story in the Metroid franchise.

Wowserz, superb screen shots. The lighting seems very impressive for the Wii so far. One day I'd love to see retro put their immense talents to a non-Metroid game. Wouldn't mind someone having another crack at that "Starfox Adventures" idea for example. PS. Halo was simply incredible. An enthralling epic and intuitive action experience. Co-op is still a regular draw on my bro's Xbox. Also wins bonus points for best level name ever: "I would have been your daddy."

To be fair, it's been a while since the US of A was flavour of the month.

I dunno. They are odd, but then of course there's always an extra layer or two to any apparent reality. It all gives you the impression that murder and invasion isn't perhaps they're primary function. It's an interesting parallel that Saxon seems to have done to those balls whatever he's done to the UK. I'll wager there's some kind of satire about political leadership and the Iraq war around here somewhere.

Wasn't too fond of the direction - I always hate too much music, and somewhat too many camera angles. Somebody give Colin Teague some Ritalin. However John Simm was bloody fantastic, and I mean really, really god damn good. Also another good strong script kept it all simmering nicely and I enjoyed the Captain Scarlet-style sky base. It's certainly going to be a long, long week before we get to see the conclusion. Also I hope the Master escapes without having to regenerate or anything. I just really, really want to see John Simm make a return at some point.

SEGA: Dump everything. Burn all the designs and plans for every Sonic game up to and including this point. Fire everybody. Get some fresh talent in office. No, better still, burn your office too and then hire new talent. Then fire yourself. Start anew. Start afresh. Start from the very beginning all over again. Start from that single, original, brilliant genus that's kept Sonic alive all these years, all those long harsh months of shoddy, buggy, boring, pseudo 3D "kidz" shit. Sit down together. Write it together. Write it a thousand times in a thousand different languages. Write it on paper, write it on the walls, write on the table, write it on your bodies, write on every available surface, both visible and invisible you can find. Write it, consider it and make it: "Mario at 1000mph."

Last night I dreamt I went to Tibet and bought a cheap PC from the monks there. They had their own currency, so they must have had their own state. Take from that what you will.

If you like your classical you could far worse then Aaron Copland. Bought a CD of his work after hearing the composition "Quiet City" on Radio 3. It's fantastic stuff. It has a lightness and sensitivity that most other compositions lack, remaining highly evocative without having to go into any over-bearing, epic stanzas that often seem forced in other works.

The Wii is Online but something is missing...

Well Valve are going to do it on Steam. Why can't anybody else do it? -
Just found a lone track knocking around my MP3 player: Temptation by New Order. Never heard any of their stuff before. It's really rather good.

Why on earth would you want to live in the past though? Now the future, that's much more interesting. Don't know what's going to happen, see?

Interesting ship design. Is it something I missed in Assualt, or could it be a nod to an upcoming Starfox title?

How about we turn this into a little game? The first person who can identify the films and characters all three of these quotes come from wins an imaginary cookie: "Nobody tosses a dwarf!" "As my lawyer, you should know: I've killed a lot of people." "Are these your lunches? You eat other peoples lunches? STOP IT!!"

What are you doing to replace games in the "draught"?
gaggle64 replied to Tyson's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I really have only been playing Wii games mostly. And a fair bit of online PC gaming now that I have internets. But by and large mostly Wii games. Need to get Eledees at some point. And Dragonball. Actually looks pretty good fun. Oooh, and Metal Slug. Can't beat a nice slice of Metal Slug. -
Core 2 Duo. Anyone who suggests otherwise will be shot. At birth.

Gunblade. My favourite arcade game ever. Evil robots have invaded New York City, and only a brace of US Navy helicopter pilots armed with Uzis can save the day. It's cheesy, shallow and looks like ass. It's also the greatest amount of fun I've ever had while still wearing underpants. Well, sometimes while still wearing underpants anyway.

When It feels like I have something in my eye. It happens all the time because my odd sinuses stop my eyes from cleaning themselves properly. I'm writing this with one eye scrunched up right now. It makes me positively miserable sometimes.

There's a good sense of armageddon radiating from Pikachu's special attack, I must say.

Now, if it had been Jack Thompson or some half witted US Senator in an election year banning Manhunt, there may be some grounds for a degree of outrage. This however, is a very professional turn down by the BBFC, a body that even suggested recently that many game ratings may be too high. Rockstar have always prided themselves on pushing the envelope, a noble aspiration, but the line does have to be drawn somewhere and I don't think anyone is more qualified to call where then the BBFC. Obviously I haven't played the game myself so I can't comment on it's content myself, but I do trust the BBFC. No doubt Rockstar will appeal against the decision, I trust the BBFC will treat them fairly and consider their position, and I look forward to the public debate that will no doubt ensue.

Slight Problem with in-game stats causes tears. The following represents game fans at their worst/greatest- http://forums.easports.com/mboards/thread.jspa?threadID=235551&start=90&tstart=0

Yeah, all the teams will probably be testing the shit out everything they can throw on the car. Seems to be that time of year when their R&D teams finally finish whatever doo-hickie package they've been developing based on their race performance.

FEED ME A STRAY CAT Besides, once you know ending, you realise your free to laugh about the whole thing anyway. Or can you? One of my favourite quotes ever: "You're my lawyer so I think you should know: I've killed a lot of people."
