I played on a Wii for the first time yesterday...
gaggle64 replied to Wesley's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I love Wii Sports even more then I love myself every night in front of my PC with the lights off. -
Personally I'm most hoping to see some hands-on BWii action. I know it's not even that far from release but I just gotta find out how that thing plays.
-
I can see the sports headlines already: 'Ferrari:'We're fucking back, bitches."' Also Honda finally scored a point. Not much, but it's a start.

I do agree they never seemed to use Martha for anything worthwhile. Being a doctor herself, they should at least had her arms deep inside someones (or better yet, something's) chest with a pair of salad tongs and a sweet wrapper at somepoint or something.
-
Well well, looks like Ferrari have finally picked up their game. Should quite a good scrap between them and Hamilton. Pity Alonso couldn't join the party but that's just how it goes I guess.

I very much enjoyed that. Not as good a finale as the last couple of seaons, but then again, nothing is. I can totally see Jack in his current state eventually becoming the face of Bo. Massive evolution in a person's own lifetime is a rather intriguing thought to me. I thought the way it was all resolved was suitable enough for me: It just kind of fits with the Doctor's messanic properties. Surprised Martha didn't keep on for a second season either. Wouldn't mind a plushie version of one those fun-sized death stars.

Virtual Console - All you need to know

Yes please, Mr Nintendo, sir. -
Not long I should think. August last I heared. If they've got the cover design I can't imagine it would be much later then that. Kuju's a UK dev and I can't imagine it's particulary text heavy or anything.

Gee, I dunno, I can take or leave Rick. I'm only going to allow the 90s back if it brings MC Hammer and the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers with it too.

The Brady Bunch Movie Not what you expect. More of a spoof with a twist to it. Cleverly self satarising. 7/10 The Train An almost noir-ish WW2 drama. 8/10

Thing is about facial hair, everybody hates you more then Hitler, but you feel fantastic. Once I've finished it off everyone will love me again, but I'll feel weak and out of place. Like a sick kitten that fell through a temporal vortex and ended up becoming the King of Sweden in 2136.

Twas the intention. Just mulling it over while I also ponder where to get a new shaver.

Quick! Somebody build an ark! (Official Weather Thread)

Watching a news report, an aerial camera shot showed that someone had the for fought to scrawl all over the roof of their business in white paint before leaving it: "This shop is still alarmed!" -
All went rather downhill for me after the white ranger came one the scene. I didn't like him for some reason. SPD is OK though. Lots of fights and laser battles in shopping malls for some reason. My favourite Rangers moment ever is when Pink and Blue ranger find some people in a cave, and choose to triple back flip to them, rather then simply walking all of twelve feet. Classic. I also liked that big turtle thing which Red had to hide in when Zedd sent an even more humongous-then-normal dragon monster after him. That was pretty cool.

I think what's most sobering about this is that compared to the flooding they get in more tropical zones like Africa and Asia it's like a drop in the bucket. Global warming is going to be a barrel of fun. -
We've been through this: there is no drought. At least no drought which I have noticed. Been too busy playing Wii games you see. Heatseeker for one. And Madden. And online Strikers. That's always great for a laugh. Also Excite Truck keeps bringing me back. Haven't even finished Zelda yet as a result! (Nearly finished now though.) I've promised myself Sonic as soon as I've finished though. Hell, I'm still playing the Wii Golf game! If you're honestly bored with your Wii you should probably go out and buy some games. Eledees? Metal Slug? Dragon ball Z Budakai? Maybe even some Cooking Mama or Koroinpa perhaps? I know, I know, not "proper" games, though primarily in the sense that none of them are GTA or Gears of War style actions fests. That'll be out later with Prime 3. In the mean time, you go right ahead and be miserable in your little drought. I'll be over here swimming with dolphins.

I can think of at least a half-dozen games that would blow the mind of even the most jaded gamer. Thing is, none of them are 1st person shooters. Left 4 Dead is slated for this winter though. That should be your cup of tea. Shadowrun should be worth a look as well if you want something different. Battlefield 2 is a fantatsic multi-player experience if that's what your after.

Nothing yet. Somehow the necessary circles in which to facilitate such relationships have remained hidden from my eyes. All in good time.

Hull has declared a State of Emergency. That's not something you're going to hear often. -

Here's a thread about the bleedin' weather, especially since most of the UK seems to be flooding on a daily basis. Up here in Scotland it's just been straight up grey and depressing for weeks now, with only a couple of days reprieve at all. No flooding though luckily. Mind you, it would at least break the monotony a bit. God it's getting depressing. Where's this summer I hear so much about then, eh?
