I love playing as the Alien. It's tricky as hell sneaking up on someone, because you never fare well in a straight fight, but clambering along the ceiling and scuttling down the wall until your suspended inches from the top of some unsuspecting marine's quivering skull is positively orgasmic.

A full character with his/her own recruitment & loyalty missions is the sort of thing I'd be prepared to pay for separately. Zaeed makes sense as a freebie because he only has his loyalty mission and no real relationship development tree. What I'm done with is things like weapons & armour packs.

So is this how Bioware are going to do things - buy new or £10 or what have you and we keep getting DLC-extras drip-fed to us rather then paying individually? 'Cause I could get on board with this idea. Playing through on insanity, that new shotgun is a lifesaver by the way.

I would probably vomit blood if I had to buy a new console to complete the trilogy. I'm hoping to run my 360 for a good long while. Out of curiosity, what are everybody's main-playthrough stories thus far? The third game is going to be interesting just to see which significant decisions run together and how.

Well, I stayed up 'till 3am completing this. It was hella awesome. Mass Effect 3 can't come fast enough, it really can't. The only thing that tore me a little was the final boss, I'm not sure if it's totally awesome or slightly retarded -

I've reached a conclusion - Mordin is possibly one of my favorite video game characters, ever. I don't often take him on missions, but he still rules so hard.

I didn't think Avatar was a great movie, but it was entertaining enough. The sort of thing I'll probably buy for less then a fiver in the 4th hand section of Blockbusters a few years from now when I'm heading home alone and I just want something to distract me from the encroaching winter nights. -

I do love that side shot of the Mclaren. The Merc looks like the designer fell of his chair while drawing the outline. Also, seems odd Williams haven't bothered to do a quick unveiling photo-op like the other teams yet. Is that coming later today?

I love the little bits of humour this game has - I love references to the elevators from the first game especially. "Goddamit, can't this thing go any faster?! *zaps it with omni tool*" I also love the discussion from NPC characters about, uh, inter-species "relationships" I keep hearing everywhere. Bioware know their market.

The fin on the Mclaren apparently houses some of the cooling systems as well as guiding the air to the rear wing. I imagine other cars with fins will be the result of similar solutions.
