Not entirely. The main reason I want them to go 3rd Party are because their consoles are tripe. Their games aren't, but their consoles are. They're old tech with a severe lack of features that make the systems just feel old and archaic. Their consoles, in turn, make their games less fun.

Sony and Microsoft would kil for their IP... but the thing is, it's Nintendo that are doing the killing... they're killing themselves. I hope it soon comes to be that Nintendo go 3rd Party and that Sony and Microsoft have those IP on their platforms! At least we'll be able to enjoy their online games whilst having fun talking with each other then, instead of it feeling soulless and empty as it does now.

In regards to a home console I don't think anything can save Nintendo anymore. They'll just slowly decline into obscurity.

I've hardly touched Minecraft but I can certainly appreciate it's an amazing game! Seeing how big it is and how much people love it... my girlfriend's little'ns absolutely love the game, I love joining them in their world and following them on adventures, building stuff etc! It's great!

Are you not automatically logged in when you switch it on? I always am. It's far quicker than the WiiU quick start screen. Friend notifications?! Has the WiiU had an update and added these?! I've not switched it on for a fair while so I don't know.

They'll keep the NNID for the WiiU and 3DS but I feel the NX will take on the Nintendo Account in its place. That we linked them will be for transferring the data over during the transition between systems I'd guess. Having it linked will also help transfer software tied to your NNID to the Nintendo Account (Virtual Console/eShop, save files etc). That's what I imagine it to be.

Notifications when friends come online is the most important thing for me. Folders would be nice too as I'd like to organise that cluttered mess of a home screen.

I thought it was a great first video. You've definitely got presence @Kaepora_Gaebora! My only minor criticism was that it felt as though the delivery was aimed at a slightly younger audience than what N-E consists of. It felt like you came across slightly as a children's TV presenter... with the exception of a couple quips. Of course you want to appeal to as broad an audience as possible though. But nevertheless, as I said, it was very well done guys!

I've heard the servers are pretty much broken. With this being pretty darn barebones too I cannot justify buying it! Gutted, as I was looking forward to it!

It depends. If NX has no Party Chat I'll not be buying it so I'll be majorly pissed off. If it has Party Chat I'll not mind as I'll get it.

I am happy they're making Zelda, but I'm not happy they're not making anything else. And I've every right to complain. Just as you ahabe every right to praise them.
