It's not quite as lazy (but still is) and really it's not quite the same for a couple good reasons. 1. Uncharted Collection, Halo Master Chief Collection. That they're collections give better value for money. 2. These collections and remasters were done toward the start of their respective console's lifespans. They were done from games that look the part, the extra lick of paint makes them "fit" in the new console's library (I'm not just specifically talking about those two collections alone but all of them). With Twilight Princess this is not the case! This looks pretty much still a Gamecube game, yes it's been remastered but it still doesn't look the part for a WiiU game. What's worse is that this ain't the starting years of the console's lifespan... it pretty much is it's final year! At this stage in the WiiU's life Nintendo need to be doing more than this, much more! At this point it needs to be a full remake, not remaster, the console should be being pushed!!!

As much as I love Twilight Princess, this just screams laziness to me; releasing a HD remaster to quickly plug the gap in a barren release schedule. If anything, they should've done a remake not remaster, we should've got what they showed off the WiiU with. This is a slightly prettier Gamecube game... pure laziness. I see absolutely no worthwhile reason to get this when I can just stick my Wii game into the WiiU and play that. It just doesn't make sense to me at all.

I must admit, I got the season pass. I play the game enough to warrant it I figured. I like 3 of the maps in there, the 4th is basically Hijacked from Black Ops 2. I need to start giving Zombies a go!

I hate the idea of a Wuhu Island hub, or any hub for that matter. I don't want to have to go and find my friends on the island, I just want to see a friends list... much quicker, much cleaner.

A truly visually stunning Waverace could be to the NX like Rogue Squadron was to the Gamecube. That Waverace is my favourite racing game ever too would certainly get my interest up. Still, the console needs Party Chat for me to ever buy it.

The fact of the matter is, the PS4 isn't on life support and the WiiU is... in a vegetative state. No matter how much you guys here may like the games Nintendo are putting out, it's evident that the vast majority don't give two shits. That is why Nintendo needs 3rd Parties, that's why they have to put out games that appeal enough to warrant console sales!

Surely the production and supply of them was reduced to a minimum so that the aged stock was cleared..?

I was gaming with my mate last night when he suddenly disappeared, I didn't think too much of it at first but then he sent me this today... He doesn't do anything out of the ordinary with it and keeps it unobstructed so it's ventilated well enough. He also, like @dazzybee, always mistypes on his mobile, haha.

@drahkon what times do you tend to play online when you go on this? Most times I tend to see you on is just about as I'm heading off. Do you game on this with anyone or do you usually game on your own? I'm usually on with one of my mates but if you see me on you'd always be welcome to join us. I bought the DLC last night, played a bit on the new maps and really enjoyed them. Had a decent night on it with a couple insanely good games too!

I certainly do mean like them, but it feels it's still nowhere near enough unfortunately. Nintendo really should be pulling from their library to appease the fans that have stuck with them or they risk losing them bit by bit, more and more with each generation as they have been doing. Also, I didn't mean for it to sound like I'm up in arms. There's nothing wrong finding it funny that Splatoon outsold Bloodborne. As I said in an earlier post, based on the marketing I'd have thought Bloodborne would've been seen as the more appealing game to the masses.

Nintendo themselves have done an ok job, but let's not ore tend they could t do better. Where's Metroid, F-Zero, Waverace, 1080, more new IP..?! Also, my point was that within genres games can be very different, ie; CoD, Battlefield and Battlefront are all very different from each other. Throw in other FPS games and there's more difference. There's variety within genres because of the quantity of games in each genre... which is where it's lacking with Nintendo.

That's really what I was getting at. Having 1 or maybe 2 games of one genre isn't really "covering the genre", as there are many subtleties that distinguish games from one another within each genre. The WiiU isn't covering many genres at all simply through the lack of content within each genre. @dazzybee, not all games sell millions because some are niche, some aren't even advertised and some are basically shit!

I agree that Bloodborne is actually niche, but also agree with @Zechs Merquise in that the TV advertising certainly put across as though it would appeal to the masses, whereas Splatoon's certainly didn't! ...but I do think the lack of software and quantity of software within a (lack of) diversity of genres on the WiiU helped Splatoon out big-time!

I must say, One Piece (manga) has been on point for so long now!

The fishing game in Twilight Princess was fucking awesome!
