I can see your point @Daft, and while it does make sense in that respect...

This was a travesty! Worse than The Amazing Spider-Man 2, worse than Spider-Man 3... worse, even, than the Affleck Daredevil (I can't believe I'm saying that, but it's actually true!). It started off alright and looked to be building toward something good... but it had a couple needless bits which made absolutely no sense whatsoever as they had NOTHING to do with this film, even if I got the references, and then it was completely ruined by the decision to condense what should have been the most epic of all DC moments, and a standalone film in its own right, into 15 minutes of shite. Utter shite! 1/10. DO NOT watch!

I put this on since... maybe since the first couple weeks of release and played a few games of Walker Assault as I hadn't played that mode before. Given that I'd been away for so long I thought I might get trounced but I kicked some ass! Playing CoD has helped keep my reflexes sharp. I took out the first two Hutt Contracts and almost have them done, just need a few more kills with the Scout Pistol and need to do the Cycler Rifle kills, although I've not even unlocked that yet, still only level 23. Haha I'll carry on gaming on this I think so that I get my money's worth but I much prefer CoD... yet I much prefer Battlefield 4 to both this and CoD, haha.

I'm surprised you've said you feel the size and scope of the game still feels large and that it has a large number of characters and side quests... especially after having played the two Xenoblade games, Chronicles X in particular, TP is minuscule in comparison! It's the dungeons that are the star of the show for me, followed by Midna and the certain charm that Zelda games have that make you truly care about the world and its inhabitants.

If you're going stealthy with SMG then equip a Stock as well, as you can move whilst ADS and stay off the map with Ghost because the stock allows you to move at 104% walking speed. The Kuda is a good stealth SMG, I'd go: Kuda Silencer Stock Blackcell Thermite (best grenade/tactical) Ghost Hardwired Dead Silence Blast Supressor Perk 3 Greed Bear in mind, for sniping, the Silencer does NOT effect the damage/range of the snipers at all so I'd ALWAYS recommend running a Silencer! Either the Locus or SVG-100 are decent, although if you prefer to be able to spam then the Drakon is good.

If they get parity with all the cross-platform releases then yes. Really, all of them. That's the only way really, because anything new that might come that I like the look of, I don't want to miss out on it. ...oh, and Party Chat. That's a must for me to even buy their consoles now.

With cross-platform play though that won't matter for online games like CoD. Microsoft are happy doing it, it would be great if Nintendo did too!

To be honest, I want them all. Even if I don't buy all them, I want them to have them for other people and so Nintendo don't get seen as though they're missing out again.

I'm still feeling that the controller wil be relatively close to that though. I'm sticking with my guess in the NX Prediction thread.

I don't mind if it is fake, but there are inconsistencies with that video is all I'm saying here.

You know the making of it shown there... it's not the same finished one as the image in the picture. The lead curves the wrong way and the analogues in the making video differ from the leak picture. It could still be fake but it's not the one from that video from what I can tell. They could have, just as easily, photoshopped it out of the picture.

Whereas that is a sneaky joke, I do think it's true. People who game together and chat together on here have built up great rapport!

I do think this would help tremendously. Imagine the rapport you'd have all built up by now if Nintendo had voice-chat in their games! Haha

Ive not bought it. No worthwhile reason to do so for me given that I have the Wii version I can just pop in my WiiU.

Another good idea for the site but I felt it was a little off in its execution. Sorry guys. It felt a little unnatural and disjointed in all honesty and there were a couple times it felt awkward due to silences and simple one-word answers. It didn't really feel like a discussion, a natural one at least. It's sure to improve of course, but I'd suggest having a few practice runs first to get a better idea of what each person will talk about and maybe each of you having a clear itinerary for the show so that it flows a little better. Have a little more banter too, on occasion it felt like people didn't want to be there. I'm not trying to rain on any parade, I hope criticism is taken constructively... but still, good on you for doing it guys, as I said, I'm sure it'll improve going forward.

If this is real then we need to face it. Us that grew up with Nintendo are no longer a focus of the company, we're not their target audience in the slightest anymore. Their target audience is the generation that have been weened into gaming on mobiles and tablets and haven't yet invested hard in console gaming. So the controller doesn't have buttons, those that love their mobile/tablet games won't really mind too much. Nintendo are chasing this group to widen their reach again, they'll just hope that the renaming Nintendo die-hards buy the thing too.

That it's got a screen in the controller and is designed the way it is, is why I think it's a hybrid (it'll clip into grips for comfort when gaming from home)... as much as they hinted toward it not being. It's not like they'd come out and say "Yes. You're right, it's a hybrid". That's if it's real (which I tend to believe it is).

Oh man I just LOVE all this speculation! If they turn out to be true then I guess I wasn't all too far off in my guess for the controller prediction thread.

Yep, basically this... and @Goron3's post above.

The problem was the games they showed... Pikmin was great and Lego City & ZombiU were alright... but the rest were either games already out for ages on other consoles or simply just tripe. If they do that for NX then of course it'll be awful again. When we say show games at E3, we're not talking about games that have already been out, or dance/sing along shit, or the underwhelming Nintendoland! We're talking about games that people are speculating they must be working on given how barren the big WiiU releases are!

2012 didn't work because they covered everything in the Direct which made E3 moot. They can announce details of the console and maybe one release game prior to E3 then show all the other games at E3 and have hands-on demos! That'd be perfect!

PSVR will outsell the NX (unless it's a handheld), I can feel it!
