..came in the door this morning ..haven't really had much time with it yet, have done the first tutorial section and the very first race of the bronze cup (only got 96 stars, but that was an S Ranking.. though I know I'll go back when I'm actually good at it and 96 will seem so pathetic.. ) I can see the potential there for me to really get into the game and enjoy it a lot.. shall give it a blast later when my living room is visitor-free (grr..)

..I am really looking forward to it now.. have watched a few videos on youtube of it in action this afternoon and I want it bad ..I just got an email from play.com saying my order has been posted.. so fingers crossed it makes it here tomorrow (though I have a feeling it won't come until monday unfortunately, by which time I will be heading off to uni during the week so I won't have a chance to play it until next weekend)

..cool.. thanks for letting me know that, I'll get an SD card for next week then hopefully ..and me da can use it with his video camera too to store pictures if he wants ..should hopefully be trying out the Photo Channel feature on the Wii finally tomorrow as it's my girlfriend's formal tonight and she'll be taking pictures with her camera.. and then we can view them on TV..

(Technically my brother's Mega Drive II.. he paid for it.. but I was the one who picked it up from CEX ) (Spotted the N64 controller for £6 when I was in picking up the Sega.. and while it isn't perfect, the analogue stick is sublime compared to the 2 controllers I have which I have played to death with.. even though it is second hand)

..I don't ..and even if I did, I don't have a card reader for the PC so I wouldn't be able to get music onto it.. ..however.. is it possible that if you have a digital camera connected to the PC to transfer pictures, is it possible to put music onto the card that way? ..or even with a video camera? ..if that's the case then I will get one off amazon soon as they are really cheap (and I imagine I'll need one for the Wii somewhere down the line anyway)

I have the PC up in my bedroom here and my Wii is downstairs in the living room below. I can usually get connected with the USB connector with this setup though, on occasions, I just can't get any signal. However, other times the signal is displayed as full. I would say give it a go anyway if you don't have any other solutions.

..on play.com my status for Excite Truck is currently 'Packing'.. ..should I expect it here by tomorrow? I want a bit of the 'Truck.. though, having said that, Top Gear Rally on the N64 has been keeping me occupied the last week or so.. (I love that game.. and it's milk float )

..sorry to be a little off topic, but do play send out their orders to be received on release day? I pre-ordered Excite Truck but there has been no mention of it being posted yet or anything so I'm wondering when it will arrive as I hoped to have it on friday..

..am I the only one who hates buying stuff for valentines day in that you have to take stuff up to the till and you just know the person working the till is thinking '..are you really buying that..? lucky girl *sarcasm*' or '..not a chance, mate' I'm really not a fan of the day. I don't need a special day left out to be nice to my girlfriend.. it's all so forced.

..games are as long as you make them really.. Lylat Wars isn't exactly long.. but I think I have completed that more than any other game because I played through it so many times.. it is so good.. I'm hoping Excite Truck is kinda like Wave Race or 1080, neither of which are really long or appear to have many courses, but I have played those games so much, with 1080 Snowboarding and Wave Race: Blue Storm being two of my favourite games ever. I just got so much enjoyment out of playing them that I loved playing over and over, trying to better my scores and times. I feel this could be the case with Excite Truck too, but we'll just have to wait and see. I'm quite looking forward to it though!

..I feel like I'm going through a bit of a low period with games at the moment (well.. most things actually) and I'm kinda hoping that when Excite Truck arrives from play.com that it helps re-ignites my enthusiasm (they deliver for release date, yes?) ..I've been going around like a zombie for a week or two now.. dunno.. just.. need.. something.. totally lifeless at the minute
