Film Four is a great channel. They always have the greatest films on there. Good news that people can see it for free now.

haha Poland did have a tough group though..........but yeh, you'll always have to follow them to mordor!
-
And guess who has the R-E sweepstakes on Italy! But I want France to win anyway, as Italy come under the divers imo along with Portugal and the Argies.

Get the Wii version Owen..........you know you want to. You would also probably save £10-£15 on the price aswell over the ps3 version. I'll definitely be picking this up if Red Steel becomes a duck. I haven't played a WW2 game since the original CoD, so quite looking forward to this. They best not make the controls suck, that's all I'm hoping.

The reason why it's the most developed version is because they would have already had the last game to build upon from the Gamecube. Stick some more visual effects in, slightly higher poly counts and texture sizes and you're ready. The controls sound brilliant though from what's been posted above. Hopefully this will attract people to buy the Wii version over the other platforms with their boring "seen it all before" control schemes. Is this a launch title at all? Or is it due a few weeks after launch?

When I had just started infant school I think my first idea of where babies came from was a womans mouth or something. I also vaguely remember another kid later on telling me where they "really" did come from...........and I don't think I beleived him then (I may have been about 8-9 years old or so then). I think things and comments just probably fitted in place after that, and I kind of knew where they came from before the whole first sex education lesson around 11 years old or so. I miss having a childs imagination, as it makes things alot more fun and interesting!

The image above currently isn't working, so I've rehosted it and posted it again below as people really should see it. Probably best FF boxart ever IMO, and they damn sure need to keep it the same for Western releases. I don't want to see another boring logo on a plain white box (nearly everyone since VII). Definitely my most wanted game on the DS at the moment, with Starfox Command shortly behind it. They really should reveal what the online features of this game will contain. FF Tactics is outstanding, and easily up there with some of the best GBA games. If you can find it cheap then pick it up straight away.

haha.............I've been waiting for someone to mention his red text. Sometimes I can't bring myself to read his posts on the oldskool black background.

Congratulations to you and your misses' on the new bundle of joy! And you sure do look tired.

Lol So they would create these games for the virtual console without any coding library's or the actual dev kit......(fair enough though if they've already got a cube dev kit). And also these titles would still have to go through Nintendo..........not just anyone can just make a game on a PC and have it available for online distribution. Virtual Console games will still go through the same standards checking with Nintendo as normal cd/dvd based media games do.

World Cup Sweepstakes - last 16 announced! Page 5

Unlucky Katie. But I agree, Austrailia didn't deserve to be knocked out like that. And me and you need to sort out some more Yoshi vs Yoshi Mario Kart races......as we havn't had any in ages. Go you cheating Italians! -
I'm shocked that EuroGamer have gone and totally disgraced themselves. I've always thought they were a credible source for reviews and opinions.....seems not. The thing about Sensible Soccer 06 using the club football engine aswell seems totally accurate considering how quickly this game was developed and chucked out just to cash in on the world cup.

I served Lee Evans in my shop, and a few of us who worked there all had a brief chat with him. He's well down to earth, and actually acts pretty nervous around people it seemed, which you wouldn't have thought from his live performances. A few of use got his autograph aswell.............I'm not really the sort of person to rave about celebs, so I just gave it to a mate.

Yeh, good call ref! And like Dabookerman said, I've now got his Italy and he's got his native Poland. (who lost today in-fact ) -
Just got hold of it aswell. Try before you buy ain't it! Only listened to first three tracks so far, and it's amazing. I'll probably be listening to it over and over tonight I would have thought.

Yeh, I was also interested in that...but when there's only 10 copies then you have to get in quick. I was at college and the NOE site is blocked by websense *shakes fist*. I've got just over 11,000 stars now, and that'll be exceeding 12,000 by the time I add this months purchases with the DS Lite and all the other games. Hopefully they'll come in use with the Wii in some shape or form, be it VC games or getting the console early like with the DS.

I know it's your topic Calza..........but does anyone know if you can get an external hard-drive and connect it upto a router via a network cable so any computer on the network can access it?
-
They should just chuck a unique friend code in with each console............then we don't have to bother adding codes for each seperate game and all our friends aswell for each game. Fair enough the DS has its limitations and that's why this system has been created, but for Wii which is a home console; this just wouldn't be ideal.

So does this pretty much confirm that Level-5 are already working on an rpg for the Wii? That comment suggests so in my eyes!

I don't beleive how many people were actually pinning their hopes on getting one of these from Microsoft. It took like 2mins on my time to fill out anyway, so I weren't bothered if it turned up at all. Apparently the drives were only 16Mb and just had aload of advertisements on them. I went onto Aria's website today and ordered a 2Gb pendrive for like £25. The same pendrive is available on Ebuyers site for £28 if anyone is interested.

Brilliant. I'll try and get down there in the next month or so for some games of bowling, then check the karting action out. Cheers for the heads up.
-
Was that in Bexleyheath bowling alley Platty?

Ahahaha, second vid link you posted up was mint. Kids on the slide with a full grown man, and one between his crutch..............sort of thing you'd get locked up for in the UK. That bloke on the bike was pedalling for his life. Quality stuff though.......HOOOOOOOOO!

Where has it mentioned TP having online functions? FF:CC has got to be online, would be a waste if it isn't.........but I can see them doing a GBA>GC style thing with the DS personally. I just hope that it isn't compulsary because getting a multiplayer game together just takes the piss with that. Reason enough why they need full online 4 player then in my eyes.

Haha........... Seriously, I think it was ripping it outta gays more than promoting them as comedy icons. (I sense lockage at somepoint in this thread)
