  1. Fight me in the dark! [/bat For Lashes]
  2. Sorry, I'm a mad man.
  3. *purses lips* Yeah, before you said it wasn't about the drawing, I was going to criticise that. LOLZSTILLLUVYA. The blotchy effect is a good idea, but in the end just addes to the flatness. Some different colour around the lines of where the musculatrue should be would suit much better. Examples; Extreme musculature Simpler version, 2 tone I'm of the opinion that Venom should be predominantly black/dark grey with either grey (if he's black) or purple highlights. But yeah, your skill is good, but it's applied wrongly, IMO, to a bad picture of Venom to practice on.

  5. I love your avvie, Buttons, I never realised it was the same as mine.

  7. My mum bought me the Earth Intruders vinyl massive single set. not knowing it was Wanderlust I wanted, so I went to change it today. I'll use the money i got back to order it off Bjork.com or something. Since I had a tenner, I bought Volta by Bjork in jewel case (already have it in digipack, but it's a laugh) and Music by Madonna. Hmmm...I hate madonna nowadays. She actually made good music once.
  8. Who were they co-headlining with? I seems that if the big bosses don't think a band is big/popular enough, they put 2 together. That happened with Justice And CSS, but I liked both, and both got adequate stage time.
  9. Dancer In The Dark 10/10 Waited for so long to see this, as Bjorks in it. The first film in ages to bring tears to my eyes. One of the bes films i've ever seen. Just utterly harrowing.
  10. ^^ OH NO! *a woman collpases in shock, while another wails to the moon* *shakes head*
  11. I liked Blair Witch Project, as it actually felt more realistic than usual horror films, and yeah the end was actually a bit scary when I saw it.
  12. They're weaker than many other bands around, so it was inevitable.
  13. My house I live in the main section of the fronter most building. The car park behind is for the ugly building behind.
  14. They do that kinda thing in blue, where it's like black-blue, and shines navy in the light. There might be something like that in green. It's a good idea actually.
  15. A friend of mine (female) is of funny ethnicity, like you can trace east asian, but then also some strya spanish, then british. Anyway, she's really stunning, and has crazy l'oreal hair. She's the first person I've ever met who wouldn't suit ANY other colour. (Though i'd laugh if she dyed it maroon*
  16. When I first did mine with Blond highlights. I had it done with a specialist (also my hairdresser), but she's especially expensive 9Head colourist in an award-winning salon...my mum's scared of normal people, and insists I go there), and the second time when it was jokingly half blond, half silver. It's been black for almost a year now, and I kinda want a change. I might get a joke green bit.
  17. That was shit. It's just so rife with cliche/bad acting/really dull powers/awful pacing. Just the bit where the girl woke up and huigged Matt instantly, where he said 'It's alright, it was only a dream.." I've seen that exact scene in like 34 movies/TV shows. Urgh, Claire's new crush guy. Happens to be there whnever the moment is right. Sorry, that was just plain bad. If Nikki had actually been in it, maybe I would have partially enjoyed it.
  18. FUCK! How could I forget?! (Probably because i've lent it to a friend, so didn't see the Pan's Labyrinth DVD in my pile as I wrote that post) Though it sounds like a complete lie, I remember thinking that it was one of the best creature designs EVER. And genuinely chilling!
  19. While a good concept, it's just generally phails. It feels like it was made to introduce superheroes as "cool" to the masses. Seriously, read comics. They're a better use of your time, and actually require some imagination. I also hated how it's like a typical American show; no swearing or hint of sex, but severed skulls + inside tossed on the floor is A-ok! That being said, i'll watch this series, as I hate stopping watching things.
  20. Some films have jumpy moments, but arent "scary". I was protected from Horror Movies as a child, but not ridiculously. I never has much of an interest in them either. Watched Exorcist when I was around 11, wasn't scary at all, and I was too young to understand the "disturbing" nature of it. Saw Jaws around the same time. Preferred that, as it was more jumpy. I prefer thrillers, as they tend to work better in today's "seen it all" society. Alien is still one of my favourite films, as it's thriller, horror and some action all packed in together, to amazing effect. I like films like Red Eye too. Much scarier to be trapped in your home/on a plane. 30 Days Of Night was jus ta bit confuddled. In comic form it works much better. But then I suppose that's true...that's the reason the X-men films didn't use the comics costumes, cause it wouldn't look credible. The vampires just looked really bad. Alien is the best horror creature design to me.
  21. Lucinda is my favourite. It's nice not NOT to see massive bitches shouting at each other. She was hell of a lot better than Claire as a leader. Plus I love eccentric people.
  22. Oh, I see it now. Lolsox.
  23. One flaw with that episode; the fact that they all hated the sculpture was ridiculous. It wasn't remotely infringing on the scenery, and it didn't even look that bad. Yeah, fine, Susan, she has a reason to hate it, but bitch-what's-her-name-new-lady has no business interfering. ---- Heather Mills : What Really Happened 7/10 I never knew all about her, only snippets. I still support her. I actually prefer the Beatle wives over the Beatles. / Well not really, but I prefer Yoko Ono over the Beatles. She got shit for no reason. John Lennon actually got good once she entered his life. *grumble* But yeah, Heather may have some game or whatever, but she doesn't deserve the shit she gets. Apprentice 9/10 Good episode, annoying how the best team lost, and Mindi or whatever left. Lucinda is my favourite.
  24. Ragdoll is my new favourite member of the boards. She's like that cliche RPG NPC who helps you occasionally throughout your adventure, never really having an opinion, but then you have to fight her at the end, when she reveals she has a lvl 71 Golem and a Lvl. 54 Slaking.
  25. Goldfrapp are an excellent band; anyone who can successfully do whatever style they choose pwns. Ranking albums; Felt Mountain - The best by far. Atmospheric, haunting, gets under your skin. Just beautiful and icy. Black Cherry - The follow-up to Felt Mountain had 'Frapp go down their dance route, to great effect. The fuzzy atmospheric tracks from Felt Mountain still influenced Black Cherry however, evidenced in the slower songs. Seventh Tree - Just beautiful. Calm and serene, but still has vitality to it. The whole album is like a slow walk through a sunny meadow, with little burts of exuberance here and there. Supernature - The worst of the bunch. It's ok, has some good dance tracks on it, but some just sound like crap compared to any otf their other albums. SO glad they didn't just repeat themselves for this newer album. It was directed mainly to Nelly. I'm a madonna fan, as she has made some of the best pop songs/mostr enduringly great pop albums ever, and I love anyone who can adapt/change. I preferred American Life to CoaD. I just wish she'd been allowed to keep the original (admittedly violent) American Life video for it's single release, instead of complying to uptight bitches. Ray of Light is her best album, since she starts embracing music beyond the mainstream, my favourite mainstream album by her is probably Erotica.
