  1. I drew a picture of Iron Man (looking unintentionally camp) fighting Mily Cyrus' head. It was pretty sexxxxy, but I forgot how to prnt Scrn on a mac. I got some shite saying "Misty" on it.
  2. Yeah, I now can only watch films that are meant to be serious if they actually TRY to act serious. If you get me. Similarly; French singer Camille's new single is awful, simply becuase she decided to her entire new album in English, when her french spoken music is SO much better. I'd prefer she just spoke french.
  3. I have to say, in the realm of overly popular franchises, Indiana Jones is one of my favourites. I hate Shia Lebouf, since he acts and looks like a perma-dick. Cate Blanchett looks like a laugh. I love frosty bitches with whips. The trailer I saw before Iron Man showed some pretty slapstick-esque action, so it should be good.
  4. I need all of Infiltrate.Destroy.Rebuild by CKY. I forgot I had half of it from years ago, and I remembered I loved it.
  5. Not 'til you halo all over me I'll come over Not 'til it shimmers 'round your skull I'll be yours I weave for you The marvellous web Glow in the dark threads All Neon Like The cocoon surrounds you Embraces all So you can sleep Foetus-style And they will assist us 'Cause we're asking for help And the luminous beam It feeds you, Henh-yeah!, henh-yeah ---- All Neon Like - Bjork
  6. I love androgynous people in general. ---- I'm laughingly listening to Brave by J.Lo after watching her in The Cell. Brave is actually a good pop album. Much better than the other "famous pop divas" albums that were released fairly recently. --- The Black Parade Is Dead! by MCR is coming out soon, but I don't know if I can be bothered buying it. MCR are literally so last year for me. After I saw them live (which was great), it felt like a culmination of my brief foray into emo-ism. --- I need Ting Tings to actually release an album for once.
  7. Their archives have rubbish picture for album covers... Done laods of these, new one; I like the name, my band/solo artist name, and the cover. Celosi; Female solo artist, "Small Things Badly, Too" second album Sounds like; Bat For Lashes, Goldfrapp, Laura Marling, with occasionaly bursts of Bjork electronic stylee.
  8. Sorry, I just had to. Why is this album and it's cover so incredible?
  9. Gothika Not expecting much, and it wasn't really scary or thrilling, but it some jumpy bits. Interesting story that kept you guessing, though once the main bit was revealed the rest is suddenly really clear. Penelope Cruz felt a bit random being in it, but nonetheless good. 6/10
  10. Yeah, I borrowed the album off my sister just to see if it was any good, and it's just self-indulgent shite. I'm not sure if I'd recommend a magazine, Haggis...I pick up NME if i'm going on a long journey, or Q if something particularly interesting grabs my attention on the cover. However, as mentioned, net reviews are free, and are much funnier. Pitchfork generally knows the truth (only disgreed with it's comments on Seventh Tree so far...). It gave Homogenic by Bjork 9.9 after all. Anyone not listening to Laura Marling is a n00b.

    Iron Man

*bellows "FUCK!" into a teapot* BEST COMIC BOOK FILM EVER Seriously. And Iron Man is one of my least favourite characters. I want this film to make love to me.
  12. You aren't a marvel comics reader are you? If you were, you would have internally had a spasm of joy/excitement. ----- The Cell Wanted to see this for a long time, and first off, it's teribly advertised on the DVD box. It's not scary or thrilling in any way. However, I liked the premise/story, and the strange take on the whole "Alice Through The Looking Glass" thing. Great images conjured up throughout, making it a beautiful (even some of the twisted scenes had a beautiful element to them) film in many ways. Just OK/good as a film, but beautiful. 7/10
  13. Yeah, Justice are great live, but CSS is a more... energetic atmosphere. Justice is like being sucked into a black hole, but after a hour and a half, you;d prefer to just go home (metaphorically). And Haggis, you really should use Last.fm to find new people, or actually read music magazines, to get a general overview or upcoming names in the music world. Or even funnier, buy an album on impulse without knowing anything about it. It's worked pretty well for me in the past.
  14. Or Oxigen_Waste, but I prefer his taste in music, so in a sick way, I enjoy being put down by him... I WAS going to buy another Nine Inch Nails album today (I have Pretty Hate Machine and Broken), but the cheap ones were remix albums I think, and I don't want one of them until I actually have the other real ones. Anyone have any recommendations of which one/s to get from here?
  15. No, I meant in the comics, he's all bent up and cooly twisted when swinging/on the ground, about to fight, so the movies just looks like a guy in a spider-man outift, rather THAN spider-man himself. At least the X-Men suffer less from that. Only thing was Storm's flying in the first one, looked a bit crap. Blame that on being 8/9 years old. But this WAS Iron Man.
  16. Coldplay are like Radiohead for mongos. Only good song for me is Yellow, and even then its dull. ---- Bought Takk... by Sigur Ros today. Looking foward to listening to it.
  17. Iron Man The best Marvel movie. As people have said, the story didn't just feel like a vehicle to let peopel see him fly around, and it actually looked real. Spidey/X-Men/Hulk didn't look real, as no one can contort themselves teh way Spider-Man can in the comics, and the x-men look a bit daft half the time. No, Iron Man was brought to life amazingly. Great adaptation (faithful too) of the original story, and it balanced seriousness with humour. It did this much better than other marverl moves (i.e Spider-Man 1-3). It wasn't silly liek the F4 movies, nor did it take itself to seriously (Daredevil). Great action of course, and the acting was top notch. ALSO; Marvel fans NEED to see the after-credit bit. FUCK! 8.9/10
  18. Actually, he was...but it's mostly lost in translation nowadays. If you have a good English teacher, they can often bring out the humour more. It IS there. Obviously not in the tragedies, but in the comedies (duh). I think Twelth Night is considered one of his comedies..
  19. I keep meaning to check him out. Just listened to Pretty Hate Machine - Nine Inch Nails, again. Love it.
  20. Are you suggesting that before you watched, you thought it might be better than Shakespeare's Twelth Night?!
  21. The album's growing on me. ---- I wasd playing with GarageBand for the first ever properly tonight, actually making beats for once.
  22. Well Claire is finally beginning to develop a personality so I can see that. Peter however hasn't yet had the honour bestowed upon him by the writers yet, apart from the default "I'm broody and dark inside, with floppy hair...*shifty eyes*" mindset.
  23. I take it you mean that Nikki isn't interesting, and nor are the Mexican twins? Well none of the other characters are. Hiro = no idea why everyone like him. Just annoying. At least he's actually using his powers now. Parkman is good, I guess. As a whole though it's just ugh... The majority of the general public could handle the editing/pacing/general running of this show better than the actual production crew could. I'm sure a major draw is meant to be Peter's story. Oh great, now he has every power ever and has amnesia. No doubt he'll have to help rob a bank or something, except there'll be ample time to just steal the box and leave, but for some inexplicable reason he won't do it... At least Mama Petrelli has somewhat of a life.
