  1. A superhero movie, as a minor character. Like, If I was to be in the upcoming Avengers Movie (well, it's in 4 years or something), I'd want to be a member of the Avengers, but have 1 line or something. I could be Justice. Or a joke cynical british version of Bucky in Captain America.
  2. I had no idea that having little/no files on the desktop was the norm. I save way too many images off the net, for no reason. I've now changed it to; All hail Bjork or you fail at life.
  3. Probably Dragonette. Or Alanis Morissette, since people just seem to ignore her superior other albums, and only listen to Jagged Little Pill.
  4. All the hilarious things of my life were "You had to be there" situations. Hmmm.. One night at a party, some of us were chillin' in a room upstairs, and the host guy brought out a book of racist jokes (...), and I was pretty drunk by then, and was just like slumped on the sofa. I heard the guy say something like "What did the muslim mother say to her sikh daughter?", and in my drunkeness shouted "'DO ME!'" as the answer.
  5. I'm usually all for the big events Marvel have, as it actually shakes things up. never read Planet Hulk (hate Hulk anyway), but I loved Civil War. But One More Day is like something a madman working for DC would do. Just erase history. It's just shite.
  6. Well yeah, I get that, it's just the fact he's keeping a priceless (and stolen) sword in an unlocked drawer. I'm over it anyway. So far this series has been worse than last series, despite actually having sense of direction this time.
  7. She's the best talent of 2008 so far, for me, but her songs aren't particularly summery, except maybe Shine, Your Only Doll and A,ICS. But overall it's much more of a September/October album, with all the rain sound effects and night references. Scarlet's Walk by Tori Amos as an album is perfect for summer, as it's all about a sun-drenched road trip of self discovery and what not.
  8. Yeah, he was only saved from going because he was the only one NOT to have actually made a mistake. I don't know if he's the weakest, but he just hasn't made any dumbass moves yet.
  9. How is that at all safe though? If it's a cubicle anyone can go in... If it was a room (I can't remember), fine, it might have a lock on the door. Even so, it's just the little things that the creators of this show just don't think about...
  10. And it's amazing. But then unlike, Hooverphonic, she wasn't trying to just sing Nirvana's song like they did. She takes songs and makes them her own. Listen to her version of SLTS, or her covers album, Strange Little Girls. Check out her Slayer and Eminem covers. Amazing and far more effective in conveying their message than the originals.
  11. At least you have opened multiple packs of CT...when I first got my friends into it, they all bought as many packs as they could, leaving me with the last CT pack in Forbidden Planet. I got Doc Doom R, Black Widow R, AIM agent E and some other shite. Blob E I think. I still love though. I've since got everyone else I wanted from it.
  12. I hate low quality, though from what I hear it sounds cool. I like that song anyway.
  13. Margaret and Nick are so good! The editing on this show is supremely good, just the way they cut to Margaret/Nick's face tutting or rolling eyes whenever one of the group makes a stupid comment/decision. And when Margaret yelled at Michael a few episodes back in the boardroom I clapped.
  14. I can't be bothered, as I get Astonishing Spidey anyway, so it feels slightly pointless. (It is like 3 years behind though) Plus I hate how it's just a vehicle to put all the "cool" characters into one team. They even have Spider-Woman, just since she has connotations of Spider-Man. (Though them both being on the same team is a joke)
  15. lol She didn't...that's just one of Chairdriver and I's catchphrases.
  16. I'm lolling where I sit. Well, not really, but I love Clobberin' Time. One of my favourite sets for character selection. Everyone in it feels like they're only fighting for a laugh, and that they're all actually best friends.
  17. When Wolverine "died" fighting Death, he didn't turn back into his true skrull form until Beast was testing things out on him, IIRC.
  18. :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: I bought Bjork's single, Innocence today for £22. Only Bjork would release singles in a huge set featuring 2 12" vinyls of remixes, the digital single release on CD, a DVD of all the videos from the competition to create the official video for the song, and in such a magnificent package. I love the 5 sleeves of packaging, all of which hasve quotes from the song. The pride of my meagre Bjork colection. I was going to get the Wanderlust single, but it's been delayed or something, and Innocence was my second choice.
  19. I listened to Hippychick by Soho. I remembered this from years ago. I love.
  20. 3/10 for being a spoilsport.
  21. Goldfrapp's Seventh Tree. Hercules & Love Affair - Hercules & Love Affair Róisín Murphy - Overpowered.
  22. *High-fives* "C'mon, Lucinda! You know you're good!" - Margaret, to Lucinda.
  23. My funniest day ever. I went into school, and was chatting in the classroom before assembly as normal, when my class teacher (a laughing lesbian) told me i'd one the Design Technology prize for the 6th years. I was literally surprised, as though I like DT, i'm really bad at it. When I thanked my DT Teacher (who literally loves me, and is also a lesbian) she was like "OMG IT WAS MY FAVE IN THE WHOLE YEAR/EVER." Then in assembly, we concluded a week of assemblies actually talking about the idea of NOT having faith, rather than beleiving in god as the be all and end all, for once, which I appreicated. Then the teacher used a Sigur Rós video to show his faith in music and nature. I was metaphorically laughing and clapping. I loved.
