  1. Throw Madina Lake away quickly. I remember I was at a party, and some emo crap track came on, and I was like "...wait..is this..." and everyone collectively nodded. Madina Lake. [/Exaggeration]
  2. When I was in Florida in December/January, I like stopped in shock in SeaWorld when the national anthem started playing, and everyone like stood still with their hands on their hearts. Realistically get over it. The US and China are two of the most annoying countires in the world in terms of politics. (to me)
  3. Of course. But religion allows for an "excuse", and as it has been mentioned already, governments are very scared of pointing fingers.
  4. My god, I never saw anything so clear. (Though I DO see the pros in being religious) But even so, they are, and this happened.
  5. I'm pro-immigrants usually, but if they want a mosque so much, why don't they just go back home? [/really mean, annoyed personality coming through] I.HATE.RELIGIOUS.SHIT
  6. Listening to The Reminder by Feist. It's grown from like to love now. I bought Let It Die as I assumed it would a case of "previous album is better than the one that got her famous", but tbh, I was wrong. While Let It Die is more experimental, it's not as solid as The Reminder. In other news; Britney Spears new video for "Break The Ice" has surfaced. It's interesting, as in an anime style. I like the video, but the song is mediocre, and doesnt fit the video at all.
  7. Agree with the indoctrination thing in principle. I wouldn't arrest people for it though! Unless it's in public, like the Phelps family. I think Footballers shouldn't be paid that much. It's just silly. And let's be honest, it's always the football fans that defend it. Of course it's not their fault, but when people are making the art of music and are struggling to pay bills or are underappreciated, it's plain wrong that these men who are playing a game get paid this much. Can't they just be told what's right and wrong without having to read it from a contradictory holy book? I did pretty well being just told by my parents. I actively chose to go to church with my religious aunt for a few years, until I found my own beliefs, which terrify me, as now I know there is no God, so I'm terrified of death. Was probably better off pretending I believed, lol. But yeah, I generally hate contradictory shit. (That promotes hate)
  8. *ignores most of the Star Wars if he is looking for a good film to watch*
  9. Desperate Housewives is great. On Wednesdays, I have Life Drawing class at 5.30, after a school day that finishes at 3.30. It usedto start at 6pm, so I went into town with my friends, and went down to school again, but stopped at the chip shop that re-opens at 5.30 and grab a small portion and stuff them down in time to get to class. However, now I can't be in 2 places in once. I have to settle for early McDonald's in town. Not the same...
  10. Listening to Tori Amos - Legs&Boots: Montreal 21/10/07, one of the many official bootlegs from her world tour. Some excellent live renditions, specifically In The Springtime Of His Voodoo and Devils And Gods.
  11. I could love the half blond/half dark brown hair on that one at the bottom. Hair to display all facets of one's personality.
  12. EVERYONE knows that though. Any thought otherwise is just plain wrong. ----- I want to see this new cartoon, but I have shite TV. I liked Teen Titans for what it was. Some episodes were jokes. Like thw one where Mad Mod transports them into a crazy 60's-ish universe full of birtish memorabilia. The Batman has it's merits, but it's not that good. Justice League and Justice League Unlimited are on the same par as B:TAS, but maybe a little less amazing.
  13. Yeah, I still didn't get into Radiohead, despite listening to In Rainbows yesterday. ----- Listening to The Con by Tegan And Sara, a great duo, and awesome live. It's just been released in the UK, as only now have they got a UK Record deal, after like 4 albums. The Con The Con (Second Single) (Prospective 3rd single) ---- Some of their most popular/best stuff is from the previous albums, however. (Love this video. I want to their friend.)
  14. I'm sure one day i'll just love Radiohead. Based on my music taste it seems like I should, but I just don't. I usually have loads of time for bands like Radiohead, but it just thinking about listening to most of their songs just makes me want to leave the computer. I might listen to In Rainbows again. I need to post a joke review. -- Take A Bow - Madonna came onto shuffle, so I decided to listen to the entire of Bedtime Stories by her. It has one of her best songs, Bedtime Story (written by Bjork!), and is my favourite of her normal pop albums. 9She's done better, less conventional albums). She's very talented, and the only pop person I can really take seriously.
  15. I don't see how Crash is overly stereotyped, I mean the whole point was to point out the stereotyping we do, and the fact that even though we don't think we're racists, we all are inside. Made me think, and overall was a great film. Sandra Bullock's character was a bit unbeleivable, but she wasn't a mainie, so I'm over it. Crash gets 10/10 for me.
  16. I bought the standard single-disc version, but there is a deluxe 2 discs one, with the second disc being B-Sides and various rarities.
  17. Myspace is atrocious. Terrible to interact with and looks like shite. Plus none of my friends are on it. Facebook is bes, but I use Bebo more.
  18. Sorry to hear this, best of luc kto you and your family in the future.
  19. QFT. (Fills in, to get up to 10 characters, plus)
  20. I bought Meds by Placebo and Let It Die by Feist. I love both. Placebo is probably my favourite rock band ever. Garbage doesnt feel like "rock". They feel funny.
  21. *raises middle finger* The pope's a dick. Or at least what his role entails makes him one (maybe he's really nice in real life). He just wants everyone to get AIDS apparently. Good idea! No he didn't. He said he was a figurehead for people who couldn't think for themselves. There is just no advantage to being Catholic over protestant, in my eyes. Protestantism (or whatever) actually has no really pointless hatred for no reason in it's teachngs, and actually has a life knowing modern lifestyles. Either way, I'm over it. *flies away from religion in general, as he hates it*
  22. The only magazine I regularl get isn't a magazine at all; Astonishing Spider-Man. I used to get X-men, but when my friends shop (which I used to get from all from) moved away, I just drifted off from it. I subscribe to Spidey. I occasionally buy NME if i'm bored, or it has an interesting free gift, like the one recently with modern bands/artists covering other modern songs on a free CD.
  23. Short hair is better. Or at least like medium length should be the max on you. I have never seen that really long hair look good on a guy. Or at least as good as it would look without. I hate when people just get a shaved haircut all the time, and show no personality at all in their hair though. I'm famous for my crazed (really bad. yet funny) hair, which I like.
  24. Her last album came out last year. Bit of a hurry... i'm looking for good tracks to use in an arty film. Realistically no real songs.
