  1. Just got 11:11 by Regina Spektor. It's great, maybe better than Soviet Kitshc even? I got the 3 tracks Ting Tings have out. That's Not My Name is their best.
  2. I love. Like keeping Batman, Spidey and Boba as your unwilling slaves. --- School locker key (left), House Keys (Right) -You can tell I only have one locker. - You can tell I went to Florida recently (Walt Disney World, Universal Studios) - You can tell I like Spidey and Storm. -You can tell I have 3 locks to get into my house. - You can tell my name is Henry. - You can tell someone made me one of the Skoobidoo things. I used to chew it all the time, until it made me ill.
  3. I kinda hate Monkeys. Feel a bit cliche. However, the description is really accurate for a joke.
  4. Someone hold me. I fear I may collapse in shock. Please say that was a sick joke. ------ Listening to Candle In The Wind - Tori Amos. While she does it nicely, she doesn't do anything new with it.
  5. Drop Rory P. Sounds shit, and it's not like he needs more ot boost is ego. Siouxsie isn't the same as Rory P no matter what he thinks... I love Lesbian Warfare and The Lustful Creatures Of The Mellow Forest Lesbian Warfare demands Crystal Castles/Northern State music, while the other one fits dull rock, which is what your band is, isn't it? Like typical "school" band. If you call yourselves; Lesbian Warfare And The Lustful Creatures Of The Mellow Forest I'll pay for yout first single to be pressed and sold. I don't think the others would be brave enough though, except Mavor.
  6. Football wages make me sick.
  7. English Higher/As (i'm doing both a t once for a joke) pisses me off. Why aren't we allowed the book in the exam? It's just a memory test, when I'd prefer to actually be revising other subjects.
  8. That was great! I loved. Try fighting Buffalos!
  9. QFT I sorry if this does give soldiers a bad re, but not from me. I think soldiers are brave for doing what they do, but I hate with every fibre in my body the fact that their job is to slaughter people.
  10. I always loved the way in RPG's you can just go into anyone's house, and talk to them, but never have a conversation, it's just them telling you a joke anecdote/fact about the area.
  11. That lecturer guy, was he teaching kids about safe sex or something? Haven't seen it in ages. Donnie exposes his stash of porn or something to the world later in the film, IIRC.
  12. To be honest... -I dislike the first person view immensly. That might just be my preference though. -It goes on too long too similarly about "battling the weather". -Some of your images are totally ineffective. Rain bursting just feels wrong, carefully collapse makes no sense. In the opening paragraph, "eventually flowing off my chin" gives a sense of stillness, as he is very aware of this, not at all like the tempest he's meant to be in. - Various grammatical errors etc. -Some bits I liked however, I like the bit about the wind wanting you to stay. The bit about droppings you can taste is effecitve, though cut out "waste" and "droppings" for something stronger.
  13. To be honest, I'm probably basing the score on my knowledge of the source material slightly. Batman and Spider-Man of course are infintely better, as y'know, they're better characters, but the film was at least visually interesting and different... I'm lowering my score to 7. I'm over it now. My favourite superhero film is still X-Men 2.
  14. So the Bible Games are boring, repetetitive and nosensical. Stayed true to the soruce material then.
  15. But then they joke about killing Iraqi's all the time, suicide bombers or not. When I had to get my RAF uniform when I forced into CCF by my school (thank god thats over), It was disgusting some of the slogans on T-shirts. They don't even try to hide it. It's like "Kill 'em all!" with a skull and crossbones with a turban on and stuff. Utterly disgusting.
  16. It's not that disgusting when soldiers are meant to kill as many people as they can anyway. I suppose the dog wouldn't have been armed to the teeth with intent to kill though. (It's a fake)
  17. I could claim it's a favourite of mine, but to be honest, It came on some urban anthems compilation my sister threw at me. I don't think I've ever listened to it. I only wanted the album for Turn Me On by Kevin Little. ---- Bought The Cardigans Best Of today. I felt I needed to know their true musical lives outside of Lovefool.
  18. Here's my alphabet, but it's the first song I have beginning with that letter.. A&E - Goldfrapp B Boy Baby - Mutya Buena Ft. Amy Winehouse C.R.E.A.M - Wu-Tang Clan D.A.N.C.E - Justice E-Bow The Letter- R.E.M F.U.S.S (Interlude) - Christina Aguilera G.I.N.A.S.F.S - Fall Out Boy H.I.P (Enough) - Fighstar I Ain't Goin' Down - Shania Twain Jackie's Strength - Tori Amos Ka-Ching! - Shania Twain L.A - Amy Macdonald Mad World - Alex Parks Na Na Na Na Naa - Kaiser Chiefs O' Sailor - Fiona Apple Pagan Poetry - Bjork Quand Je Marche - Camille R-Evolve - 30 Seconds To Mars S.O.S - ABBA Ta Douleur - Camille U & Ur Hand - P!nk Valerian - Catatonia Wade In The Water - Eva Cassidy X - Patrick Wolf Y Control - Yeah Yeah Yeahs Zeplin Song - Courtney Love I love Bjork and Tori Amos being there.
  19. It was different to other superhero films, which I liked. It focused more on the human side of Superman (thank god, who gives a shit about an alien who is invincible). That, combined flawlessly with some of the most dramatic/best set piecesin a superhero movie I've seen recently, makes for a great combination. Sure, it's not as in your face as say, the X-Men films, and Spider-Man films to an extent, but it's interesting to see the superhero genre go in a different direction. In recent times, only Gwen Stacy dangling off that collapsed building in Spidey3 compares with the rocket launch in Superman.
  20. Joke. Her biggest hits are Conrflake Girl, Crucify, Winter, Silent All These Years and A Sorta Fairytale. Yeah, I mean it is good to start at the beginning, but I didn't bother, lol. I went; American Doll Posse (This didn't do much for me at first, had it for a few months) (2007) Then I bougth her greatest hits and loved it! (2003) Then I bought Boys For Pele (1996) and From The Choirgirl Hotel.(1998) Then Little Earthquakes (1991) and the Beekeeper (2005) Then Scarlet's Walk (2002) Then Under The Pink (1994) To Venus And Back (1999) is more expensive in stores as it comes with a live album too, so I just Dl'd it (off iTunes!) I finally managed to find Strange Little Girls (2001) in DisneyWorld, or all places, and it was the last one! So yeah, I spent a good 6 months getting them all.
  21. From The Choirgirl Hotel and Scarlet's Walk are my favourite albums by her. I can't beleive I forgot to post links to some of those tracks! Beekeeper is pretty bad, it lacks any edge, it's just her going on about being a mother in forgettable songs. American Doll Posse from last year is fucking cool, but it's concept of her playing 5 differnet characters can't hide the amount of blah songs on the album. Scarlet's Walk Highlights; 2 of my fave Tori Songs, Mrs. Jesus and I Can't See New York (About 9/11) are also on SW. Check them out if you want. I know i'm throwing a lot at you at once! Tori is enjoyed best one album at a time.
  22. Cherry Lips is a very unusual Garbage song, as she sings in a very strange voice, but yeah, get AG, and theni if you like them, get garabage, version 2.0, beautifulgarbage and Bleed Like Me. TORI AMOS Could I have converted someone? Don't listen to Chair. lol While Little Earthquakes is her most well-known and accesible, it's her masterpieces Under The Pink, Boys For Pele and From The Choirgirl Hotel that are her best. Boys For Pele once made go into a crazed trance. Cornflake Girl (Under The Pink), her biggest hit She's Your Cocaine (From The Choirgirl Hotel) Professional Widow (Remix), this got to No.1, though it's utter shit compared to the real song. Hey Jupiter (Dakota Mix) (Boys For Pele) Silent All These Years (Little Earthquakes) Not my favourite songs by her, but some I'd suggest to a potential fan...
  23. One of my favourite films of all time. ----- Superman Returns I only now just noticed how out of the box it is for a superhero film. I hate Superman as a character since he has no weakness (real weakness), but this film is great. I remember being like "FUCK!" in the cinema at the plane fiasco. It drags slightly at the end, but yeah. 8/10
  24. I got (last year); English Lang - A* English Lit - A* Art - A Design Technology - B Biology - B Geography- B Chemistry -C Maths -C French - C I literally thought I was going to fail Chemistry. Seriously knew I was. Somehow I passed. This year, for my Higher exams, i'm doing; English (Think theres two papers, but i doint know) Art Design Technology Geography Modern Studies
  25. Bit cliched.... I need it as it has like 48 tracks, and I want to get hold of their less popular stuff. I loved Don't Blame Your Daughter (Diamonds) when it came out, butr never bought it.
