    shopgirl 8/10 This is advertised on the box (in both the cover and the blurb) as a run-of-the-mill cute rom-com. Instead, this is an intelligent, telling film, with unstereotypical characters and a lot of symbolism. One of the most beautiful films I've seen recently, where the premise wouldn't typically lend itself to being visually attractive.

    I found Anne Hathaway dull and generally bad as the main one in TDWP. She was wrongly cast, as she was hardly "fat" or whatever she gets called. Just promotes lack of self-esteem in girls, which I suppose was a plot point, the worth of it all, but even so. It grated on me.

    Listening to Ray Of Light by Madonna. I love it as an album. I like a lot of her other stuff (not the new stuff), but I love this. I hold it up with the other "great albums" I own.

    Watched the whole thing last night. Not a patch on the 90's Series, but an interesting take nontheless, on villains like Catwomam, Clayface and Penguin.

    I made mine try and have a similar feel throughout. I can't be arsed sending it, I might just digitally send it, since I'd make better cover art on the computer you can tell (/I wouldn't).

    It's not rude. That was just a term I use for a laugh. I did actually say I was reading into it when there was actually nothing to read into, so it just felt like a really pointless post. But yeah. : peace: I said I was inspired to write something.

    Episode 1-8 of Season 1 of "The Batman" Season 1 was only £8 in Fopp...I went to buy Gotham Knight, but they were sold out! I could have just gone down to Zavvi/HMV, very nearby, but I couldn't be arsed, and I wanted this anyway. It's no where near as good as Spectacular Spider-Man, but I Batman more than Spidey (their respective "worlds"). Still not keen on Joker, and they effed up Mr.Freeze, except for his costume. I loved Catwoman, very good interpretation, and I actually quite liked Cluemaster. 5 more epis to go! 7/10

    I can't really define "the line". I mean, I'll respectfully (as far as possible) discredit most/all religious beliefs in a deity, but I won't jump on it if it's mentioned by someone just in conversation. But a friend began to describe the plot/meaning behind the film "Donkey Punch" while my family were in the room, including my sister. She's 11, and knows what sex is, and It's hardly a taboo (I don't think it should be), but I have a thing about innocence, and loudly talking about death during orgasm in front of my mum and sister is just a bit weird.

    News; Girl Talk's new (and free for download from his site) album rocks hard. Well, not really...but it's good. It's mash-ups, but I kept hearing songs I knew. Mostly a mix of urban/rap with modern and classic rock and pop. Just fun.

    I considered adding that post to my "pokedex" of WTF posts, but I decided against it. I'm afraid it's actually a lie to think the third one is anywhere near the same league as the second one. I blame the pointless death early on...I believe that if Cyclops had been in it properly, it would be much better overall.

    Henry Gray. I'm not opposed to it, but sometimes I think Henry is too...stiff. Yet annoyingly not-stiff. That makes no sense. Hal is funnier. Hal Gray.

    *snap* I watched it recently, too. How odd, considering I'd never heard of the movie before I was shown it. I watched a ton of movies while I've been away, but i'll rate wones I'd never seen before/hadn't seen in a while. ---- Factory Girl - 6.5/10 Gattaca - 6.8/10 Monster - 9/10 V For Vendetta - 8/10 Can't actually remember what the others were.

    I think I preferred Haggis with longer hair, only becuase you now look like someone I know. I now have fairly bright red hair, but I'm waiting for the people with real cameras to upload photos. Right now I only have this; Looks kinda strange.
