  1. Dancer In The Dark. It's also one of my favourite films ever/the best films ever.

  3. I remember last year, on the private bus thing my school runs (which I get every morning), the driver put on HSM2 for the journey. I ignored, and put on my far superior iPod full of superior music, but watched the screen as a distraction. With no sound, it was actually hilarious. If my friends had been there, we would actually have been rofling all around the bus. Some of the cinematography and facial expressions lend themselves to so many different situations. The bits I did hear were awful. There is that one catchy song that I heard on the HSM parade at DisneyWorld though. ----- Batman Begins 8/10
  4. 2 pairs of cropped trouser/short things from Gap. Normally hate gap, but I suppose these are ok for summer. Like 60 quid total, but my mum was paying. A thin sweater/top thing from Joy for like 45 quid. It's some weird japanese designer or something. It has a japanese version of what looks like the pepsi sign on the front.
  5. That's the point. A man is breakable, an ideal is not. Or whatever the phrase is .
  6. I killed my monkey. I only let it out to test the sweet of spring...
  7. I like that poster, aesthetically. The tagline is "...". I prefer the 3-D construct thing they have in cinemas of his massive bike thing crashing out a window. ---- The Color Purple Very well done, great acting. Very sad in places, but some bit were added pointlessly, to emphasise a point any but a retard already got. Dragged on a bit. 7/10
  8. I know. I listened to Pre-Millenial Tension on a loop at various times today. I need his other albums, too! Is his new one out yet? Anyone know? Thing is, I don't think my friends will cough up money to someone they don't know . Even though his stuff's amazing. ----- I find that the Sugarcubes material deteriorated the more albums you check out. Mainly due to that Eimar (sp?) guy interrupting Bjork with random crap.
  9. I'll check out those Maiden songs later. Tricky is coming to the Edinburgh festival next month, but tickets are like 18 quid. Santogold is only 8. I might only go to one. Tricky might be a more...interesting experience.
  10. He's YOUR dad, and you're an adult now. You make the decision.
  11. 10 years ago, my at the time baby sister suddenly got seperated from us in a portugese shopping mall. It was actually terifying. However, it was 2 minutes later when we saw a policeman lead her back inside by the hand, and we ran over to her. I'm to paranoid to get lost.
  12. I've not let myseld see ANY spoilers outside the movie posters. Not even the trailer. I don't WANT to see the trailer before I see the film. I'm going to watch Batman Begins again, too actually.
  13. St.Vincent's album, Marry Me is very good. Apparently there's an older, 70's solo artist called St.Vincent, but I'm talking about the band that debuted last year. ----- I listened to some Iron Maiden today, just to say I had, and to see If I liked it. I didn't. I prefer Metallica.
  14. "Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?" ? I'm planning to. *explodes in the Batman related chain-reaction*
  15. I'd have a totally different body. I don't mind my face, but sometimes I look really weird, and have bad skin.
  16. Don't watch the theatrical release. I've never seen it, but I watched the documentary that came with the Final Cut and it has a cheesy voiceover to explain everything to you. I didn't need anything explained, the lack of clear explanation made the film much more cerebral and engaging.
  17. I dislike the Beatles. Only song I truly like is Penny Lane, I think. That kinda creepy sounding one. Admittedly I haven't delved past the well-known songs (there's loads though), but then who does for artists they don't like? I vastly prefer Radiohead. I know Beatles isn't trying to be "deep" like Radiohead I suppose is, but I don't enjoy it for just entertainment's sake either. Dunno, I seem to be in a very small majority.
  18. I stopped watching Heroes I think before they all had to fight the Psychic guy. It was too shit. --- Random episode of Will And Grace this morning. Wasn't really that funny. I prefer Debra Messing to Eric McKormak anyway, and this was one of the ones she wasn't in due to her pregnancy.
  19. I only have his cover of D.A.N.C.E by Justice. It's good, but I dunno about a whole album of him. I'll have to check out more of his stuff.
  20. Sorry to hear about that, Haggis...If you don't mind me asking, what's her deal?
  21. Anyone else like/seen Last.Fm beta? The new features rock? You can erase people off your charts now! (Thank god, bye bye Britney Spears ) It's not been fully launched yet though.
  22. I woke up at 1.30 today, ate 2 pain au chocolat, then have done nothing since. Well, I played Ultimate Spider-man and Batman: Dark Tomorrow on GC. I can't believe how bad DT actually is. It's so fucking hard to control.
  23. I literally have a dream room. In that there's a part of my house that reccurs in my dreams. Sometimes I think about going there, before I remember it was a dream. I was planning to draw it for my art project on domestic utopia, but I might do it sooner.
