  1. Ha! Take that, cunts of Marvel.
  2. Well it's obvious that the investigators haven't found any incriminating info. *So why should they reveal themselves? Only a mafia member would want them to reveal themselves. Vote: Dannyboy-The-Dane
  3. No, The First One is Apocalypse. Nightcrawler will have been the leaper/melder. I said Psylocke cause the mention of telekinesis/blades.
  4. It doesn't make it any funnier really. I was already amused by her strange pronounciation of "dickhead". It's like when you hear someone tell the same joke over and over throught the same day. But in concentrated, fatal form. It leaves you with nothing.
  5. I thought outward racism was illegal? So if a policeman was/discovered to be publically racist, they'd lose their job anyway.
  6. I'm still waiting to se what people make of my one. And if anyone really gets it.
  7. I hate when good things are shifted to make way for Football/any other sport. Why aren't sports just put on their own channel entirely?
  8. I really like Donnie Darko, but it now seems a bit like Weird-lite.
  9. I bought Skream's Lets Get Ravey remix of In For The Kill by La Roux on the recommendation of some band's playlist of iTunes. I way prefer it/it works better than the original.
  10. They will be fucked over.
  11. What you just said makes it sound like you're crying at how bad it is! Never seen it, is it the one with Robin Williams?
  12. Surprisinlgly so actually. I thought it would be more like Magic Position, but it kept the best epic moments from that and formed an amazing album that recals the darker bits of his past albums. Kriegspiel/Hard Times, the title track, Who Will and Sun Is Often Out = And Vulture is great too. I never realised how awesome Eliza Carthy was until I heard the title track...my family friend's band supported her a while back. I challenge anyone to not find this song energetically inspiringly awesome;
  13. I don't get this. Just as an example, I'd expect ReZ to hate Virginia Woolf (or whoever is that divisive) utterly and completely and give it 0 or something. But how is that her fault, his not getting it? The viewer/reader has to take some responsibility for appreciation. Unless I'm getting the wrong end of the stick...
  14. I would adore on several too many levels.
  15. I mean what you're on about with Requiem. I don't think your examples before that strictly apply to film anyway. Films and the appreciation of them is a lot different to food. Same with most art. I find To The Lighthouse (which I recently finished) fundamentally depressing and distressing, offering little in the way of hope or salvation from the banality of human existance. However, it's one of the most beautiful things I've ever read/seen created, and is just brilliant. So I'd never rate it low. But then I find the way it connects with me/human emotion incredibly powerful and effectively put across as a huge part of the book, and the appreciation, as most would. But some (I know a few here) didn't like it at all. I could never rate it low though. It's too brilliant. I was left fairly empty and..like...barren after Dancer In The Dark. Why would I rate it low though? It was jaw-droppingly good.
  16. That's not how you rate films.
  17. Yes. Hi Apocalypse being the big baddie? Hi Psylocke (?) defeating Shadow King (among others).
  18. Why would it being depressing give it a lower rating?
  19. Boom Boom Pow by Black Eyes Peas? No idea really. I hate that song.
  20. Laughing as normal, but at such a volume it exceeds the acceptable limit. Something that fits you so well, when you do you silent/unbelievably loud scream/laugh. Everyone in the room taking at least 2 clicks.
  21. I was in the mood. I was tempted to just leave it without acknowledging who it was by, but then it would have been even less appropriate.
  22. Having been playing mafias longer than many people here, I still have no idea what the Lery jenkins stuff is. Or who he is. But then I've played in like 7 mafia games total. I ran two stunning Avengers ones on another site that led into an obvious chapter/gamne, but never got round to it. *reminisces* Hey Nightcrawler and Wolverine in the write-up. Vote: No Lynch EDIT: fine.
  23. Police yo'self. Police yo'self. Police me! They gots their own re-mote view-ing. Every cell has been taught to think. [/Tori Amos]
