Quantum of Solace. "THAT'S WHY I ATE THE PEPPERS!" Was the best part of the movie. Other than that I didn't really care for what was going on. The story was not really that focused and I actually don't really know what the story was about. The main villian was pointless until the end when you see him going mental with an axe which was funny! The ending was actually mental as they suddenly must have realised they hadn't used up there budget so lets blow things up!!! Then it was like FIREFIREFIREFIRE for the last 10 minutes which made it slightly more exciting. It was about what I thought It was going to be like. It also contained some really pointless Dialogue. 2 and a half bears out of 7.

I'm not a fan of stuffing! But my mum cooks two different types. It looks alright but I'm not a fan of the taste... I've tried to like it several times but it is not for me!

I watched, The Island: (at school) Not bad not great. Story was decent enough but he didn't take it anywhere and ended up with big action scenes instead, which were fine to watch but I wanted a bit more of the story as I felt the initial premise was interesting. The ending was almost cringeworthy. :p First movie I saw with Scarllet Johansson in as well. 3 Bears out of 7. American Beauty I watched this a week late for the club... Anyway, it was hilarious! I laughed so much. It was also amazing, I loved everything about the movie and could easily watch it again right now! The acting was brilliant and it presented real life in a sort of cartoon fashion which was great. 6 and a half Bears out of 7. Ninja Cheerleaders Yesterday I was in the mood to watch a terrible movie so I've started up my own little thing called BAD MOVIE SUNDAY each week I will watch one bad movie. Just like I used to on Channel 5 when I was younger. May not be every week as I will probably forget. It is just the kind of thing to do on a Sunday as they are usually pointless days for me! Ninja Cheerleaders is the first of these and it was brilliant. Exactly what I was looking for poor acting, ridiculous storyline, bad camera work. To summarise the plot it is about this Girls who are ninja's but also cheerleaders for some reason. They want to go to Uni and are really clever but foe some other reason they work at a strip club to get some money which is owned by some chinese gang lord who is their friend. He gets kidnapped and some terrible fighting scenes ensue. These include fights with Sailors, some people who look like extras from the Men in Black and some amazing fight at the end between the old chinese dude and this random woman who suddenly appears. Also they must of had some special effects money to use up as they suddenly made the swords electric for the final showdown! I could of done with a few more laughs but not a bad start. 1 and a half Bears out of 7.

I was following the... I was following the... I was following the... I was following the... I was following the... I was following the... I was following the... I was following the... I was following... the PACK all swallowed in their coats.... with scarves of red tied round their THROATS... to keep their little heads from falling in the snow... and I turned round and there you GO! and Michael you would fall... and turn the white snow red as strawberries in the summer time... I cannot stop listening to this song. It is so wonderful. (fleet Foxe: White Winter Hymnal)

I really enjoyed it. Caravan Girl immediately struck me on my first seventh tree listen. I think we are looking for different things from Goldfrapp plus I don't think my musical ear is as in tune as yours for Goldfrapp as you have listened to their other albums. But I stick by my choice. My other favourites are definately Clowns and A and E (how do you do one of those little and fellars?) I need to give the whole album other listen as I haven't listened to it for a while so cannot remember the other songs as well. I shall do that tomorrow. For now I'm listening to DJ Shadow Endtroducing so far it is mesmerising. I'm just waiting for Organ Donar as I'm wandering how it sounds in a whole album play through rather than a stand alone listen. : peace:

Bumsnakes I made that list mainly from my head and could not remember what came out in 2008! Has it really been a year since Crystal Castles? Hmmm.. in that case It'll have to be Goldfrapp: Caravan Girl.

About £20-40 from my Mum and Dad. I usually ask for a game. Then I get a few other things from my sister/family friends. -
Things which don't make sense in films
Coolness Bears replied to EEVILMURRAY's topic in General Chit Chat
Almost every film I see confuses me, seriously. most easily confused person ever. Most notable are: No Country for Oldmen, I left having had no idea what had been going on in the film and yet still enjoying it immensely. Can someone tell me what the general theme was please? -
My Year was good. I mean I didn't really do anything and times seemed to pass. I turned 18 which was the highlight of my year! Otherwise my year stays on a constant and it has done since 2005 probably. I guess I wish I did better than I did in my AS levels but I'm making up for that mistake in Jan so s'all good. That is about the only thing that has gone wrong for me this year, which is nothing to complain about. Ooh yeah I had a brief go at a Job which was pretty fun and I reckon I'm getting less awkward and shy in nature. I'm happy with myself this year as oppose to last year where I wasn't sure. I've found myself and the only thing I'm going to tweak for next year is to be kind to those who do not like me as oppose to tackling them face on fight fire with icecream! It worked last year. : peace: Next Year is my year though definately I CAN FEEL IT IN MAH BONES. 2008 not so great, 2009 MY TIME TO SHINE!

I'm with Chairdriver and Paj! I prefer I am... as Halo and Ave Maria which are two of my favourite songs on the whole album, . But Sasha Fierce does have Single Ladies which is excellence and Diva which is a mastercraft but the other songs which are on Sasha are not as good as those on I am.. I feel. Though I'm biased as I love all of the album. Okay I've finally reached my Desicion as to what my Top Ten Tracks of 2008 are one per artist. Here they are: Girls Aloud: Love is the Key The most fun on the whole of Out of Control from my favourite band means it earns its place. Fleet Foxes:White Winter Hymnal Brilliance I only heard it on Sunday and immediately I could tell it would make my top 10. Laura Marling: My Manic and I It Beautifully song song which is soul depressing sung in a strangely hopeful way. LadyHawke: Morning Dreams Starts off either in a seedy pornographic fashion or in a dream state, I can never quite decide. This song took me on a relaxing journey into the corners of my mind. MGMT: Weekend Wars I just love the build up in this song and when I reach the end it certainly pays off. Beyonce: Ave Maria I gently sung song that feels more natural and not as if she is trying to hard to create emotion within the listener. Crystal Castles: Alice Practice Difficult to listen to for some but I absolutely adore the shouting nature of it. Gives me a feeling of distress and despair, which is always great. TV on the Radio: Stork and Owl Calming but with a sense of a never ending road of pointless. This song feels with sad joy. Cut Copy: So Haunted At first I thought It was Kids so Horny.... It lifted my senses higher and gave me a feeling of greater importance than just a song.. Katy Perry: Hot n Cold The most fun pop track of the year for me, definately just a fantastic all round tune to be honest. Also been listening to a fair amount of TV on the Radio today, I think they are a fantastic band. Only listened to Dear Science, so far! I need to check out return to Cookie Mountain.

Okay haven't posted much recently. I just needed a bit of distance. I've been a bit busy in my mind and actually in life. Some notable highlights from Saturday to now include: A Santa Riding Down the Motorway on a MotorCycle, Me spraying myself four times in the face with Man perfume in the middle of next(as I didn't realise the nozzle was directly pointed at my eye), a £10 note in side a lemon and BREAKING UP FROM SCHOOL HELLS YEAH!!! I'm so pleased only 6 days until christmas and I'm not going to waste a second. Today I completed my English Coursework and did a lot of psychology revision. I AM SO PUMPED FOR EXAMS IN JANUARY!!! I want to tackle them head on. Most of my time recently has just been preparing for them. I have 19 days left then I can prove to myself that I can do well in exams. I also feel a bit more christmassy now as my family recently purchase the Radiotimes!

I keep meaning to make use of this feature, ever since I got my Itunes account. I'm going to do it NOW! I'm still loving The Promise but it hasn't been over played for me yet! and I didn't really listen to it before I got Out of Control. My favourite song on Out of Control is Love is the Key. I think it is a great song. Do you like the new video for the Loving Kind? Also Seeing Lady Gaga on my TV yesterday made me happy! : peace:
