By "silly" I mean more just the fact that there are so many. It stacks up in cost - yeah WiiFit was bundled with the board, but WiiFit also cost £70. Not to mention that I now have peripherals cluttering up my room. I have two WiiWheels under my bed, I have one nunchuk on my desk and on beside the console, I have a classic controller and a GC controller in a drawer on my desk, not to mention my Guitar Hero / Rock Band stuff (not a Wii game but you know what I'm trying to say) all over the floor in front of the TV. I'm all for a good peripheral but there is a limit.

Is there gonna be a demo of this? Can't decide if I wanna get it or not.

I agree with this somewhat; without piracy I wouldn't have gotten into music anything like I have. It's a real part of my life now, whereas before it was a very casual thing. Now I love going to gigs. I buy band merchandise. But I still mostly download the music illegally, because it's easier. Clichéd, but; I seriously wouldn't have discovered 90% of the music I listen to now without piracy. There are albums I would have bought, but pirated, and there are a hell of a lot more that I wouldn't have bought, but would now go see the band live. I like what Radiohead did with In Rainbows; let people pay what they want for it. Wasn't it their highest grossing album? On top of that I bet there are people who didn't pay anything but loved it and ended up going to a gig.

One thing that bothered me was the sonar thing; how does he have a sonar image of the Joker and the dogs, when it's supposed to come from mobile phones? I hardly think the joker had one and last I checked dogs dont generally carry them.

Except it really, really won't sell more on Xbox. 1) PS3 is the lead platform so is bound to have better performance. 2) The 360 version is almost certainly going to be on several discs, while the PS3 will be on one. 3) The biggest FF market afaik is Japan 4) People associate FF with the PS3 and so people who have been anticipating it are more likely to own that system.

Thing about Left 4 Dead is I can't decide if I want to get it on Xbox, and play it with my Xbox'ing irl mates (and have to buy Live Gold again) or get it on PC and play it with PC'ing internet mates and save the Live subscription.

I have to say, the rumoured GH:WT setlist looks better (imo). It has Assassin on it. End discussion.

You've clearly never played Dead Rising then. At least not on an SDTV. I played this at my friends on his hdtv, then brought it home to my sdtv because I thought it was awesome. I couldn't get anywhere because I had no idea where they wanted me to go, the writing was just illegible.

Guitar Hero requires a bit more of an investment for multiplayer and it still sold rather well :p

Yeah I know about the lake thing. I must be going crazy; I'm SURE I saw an option to learn it somewhere. But I couldn't have, because I'm not that far on. But I distinctly remembering deciding not to learn double jump at some point.

The bridge that starts up, and you have to lower it with the fire arrow? That's the point I'm up to, just saved before lowering it. And I could have sworn I'd been somewhere that let me learn it before then.

The one in the filed outside the starting village doesn't teach the double jump stuff though, and I don't think I've reached any sunken ship yet. Maybe Dojo isn't the right word; where do I learn double jump?

Yeah it's quite silly now really. Let's see; WiiMote Nunchuk Classic Controller Zapper WiiWheel Balance Board WiiMote Plus WiiSpeak That isn't including extra's like the WiiMote jacket/SNES classic controller/SD Card/GameCube stuff, or 3rd party attachments and the GH3 guitar.

That just screams appeasing the publishers I know I'm a bit late but I just read this thread.

This needs to become mandatory for future games if it's going to have any impact, imo. Build it into future WiiMotes and give it away with Wii Sports Resort / sell it seperately CHEAPLY. Otherwise it will just become another Wii Zapper / Wii Balance Board, with a very small install base. It's like Microsoft have problems with the 360 because Hard Drives are optional. They need to avoid that or it will only hurt future software.
