Wished a girl I've known for a couple of years a happy birthday yesterday. We've been texting since (on and off because she's currently in Africa). Somehow we decided to do a 'tanning contest' (don't ask). The winner will get a massage. We then beat around the bush.."massage is interesting, isn't there something more interesting?" This happened 4 minutes ago. I said "Well, no use beating around the bush." Now I'm waiting for her response which will probably be something like "What do you mean?". And I will answer with: "Sex." Let's see how that'll work out. Edit: Well She was surprised. Didn't expect something like that from me. Edit²: Now she kept beating around the bush. So I pushed the conversation in the direction I wanted it to go. "So, what do you say?" Noooooow she's saying "What if I have a boyfriend? Did you consider that?" NO for god's sake. Just give me an answer, that's why I'm being so direct.

No need to be sorry I know what you mean, and I agree: her response was shitty. Still, I don't understand what all the fuss is about. I'm waiting. Not actively, if that makes any sense. I asked her out twice. Now it's time for her to make a move. If she doesn't (which seems to be the most probable outcome), fine. If she does, fine. And that's the game that I'm 'playing'. No idea, why you all keep saying that she could fuck off (in a sense :p ). Like @Eenuh said, no need to dismiss her completely. I did my job, I made a move. Nothing else for me to do. And I bother giving her advice because I think she is a nice girl and that she should do things 'properly'.

I actually already moved on. Besides me asking her out twice I didn't even once start a conversation. If I see her on Saturday I'll give her some advice on how to deal with questions like "Do you want to go out with me?". That's it. You all make it sound like I desperately want her to go out with me and that I keep chasing her. I don't. This is fun and games. I played my part and now I wait.

I'm going to ask her whether she just wanted to find some excuses to get rid of me, or if it's true what she said. And if the first is her answer, then I'll give her a bit of advice: Just say "no". Oh..and...what's wrong with you guys/girl? I'm having fun even though it's a bit annoying.

Another little update. She answered. Let me translate our brief conversation: "Sorry, if I don't answer it's because I don't have a lot of time. I'm working in shifts and I have to study for some exams. So it's quite busy right now." I'll say it again: Just say "no" Anyway, my response was: "No problem, if you find some time you can tell me, if you like. No sweat." There's an 80% chance that she just wants to get rid of me and a 20% chance that she still thinks about going out with me. I go with the 20% Small edit: She just wrote "Ok, we'll see." So 5% it is :p

Myself. The movie Revolver Everybody I know hates this movie, every critic hates this movie. It is one of the greatest movies I have ever seen and I fucking love it.

Whooohoooo. Got my first acceptance from a university. Biotechnology! I wanted to do this when I finished school in 2009, but they didn't accept me then. Have to enroll between the 12th and 28th of August, so there is still time to wait for news from other universities. I applied for Psychology, Economics and Computational Engineering. No idea whether I will be accepted for one of these. But what's important: My future isn't so unsure anymore. I will definitely do something. And it's what I wanted: Go to a university and study in a field that I'm interested in. A couple of months ago I was unhappy, sad and always in a shitty mood. I quit my job, moved back to my hometown and started to live my life, doing things I enjoy even if my future was undecided. I took a risk, and so far it hasn't been a mistake.
