@Tales if you have a Vita you can do them alone. Anybody up for helping me boost the Tricky Towers multiplayer trophies?
-
Will do eventually. Just clicked that link to see if there's a Platinum. And there is : peace:

Pretty sure I won't be disappointed. I never expected more than what @somme described: get into my spaceship and fly to a planet I see in the sky (one of my biggest dreams, actually...and I'm not talking about a video game. I actually would love to explore the universe...NMS is probably as close as I will ever get ) I know there's more gameplay to it and I think that everything else besides exploration is an added bonus But I'm sure that a lot of people will be disappointed. I think it's mostly because the devs decided not to show a lot (understandably) and gamers created a game in their head that won't be NMS. As soon as I get the game, I'll put in the disc, open Spotify, let my Space playlist blast through my speakers and enjoy the ride. : peace:

I know exactly what I will do: Explore the shit out of the planet I start on (that is, if you start on a planet). Depending on how much I can do with the resources there that could end up taking 1 hour or possibly 600 hours I NEED THIS. I think the first thing they'll do is collect feedback from the community and most likely fix bugs/glitches/etc. I doubt they'll start working on new stuff this year.

Who doesn't This could be the game I've been dreaming about since I've played my first video game (which was Super Mario Land, by the way). An almost endless universe to explore with a spaceship. That's literally all I ever wanted from a game since I was 5 years old. And no matter how bad/good the NMS will be...the dream will most likely come true.
-
Yup, if I had a job I'd get it, but I'm a student with no money to spare so it'll have to wait. unless Gamestop will do that fucking offer I mentioned...COME ON. Damn that delay I really want to play it, though.

Would love to see the one-hero-limit in Quick Play. I still encounter far too many teams with either 5x Genji or 4x Hanzo or 3x Ana or 800x Tracer. And somehow, I seem to get put into a lot of matches that are on the verge of ending The last two: Joined, hero select screen, DEFEAT. Out of the last 10 I didn't join a single one that was in the assemble-your-team-phase or setup-phase.

Started a sandbox game yesterday. Didn't change any of the preset game settings. Win condition is building a Space Program (I think...could also be Nuclear Program...I can't remember as I had to focus on so many things during my playthrough ). Entered the Cold War Era just now for the first time. Let's see if I can "survive" so I can win the game. With over 700 citizens, a Happiness rating that hasn't dropped under 70% for a long time and a stable economy I hope that I can make it : peace: I always have trouble increasing Housing Happiness...it has never been above 38 so fa, no matter how many houses I build...maybe I'm building them not frequently enough

Wow, that does look fun. Will it have online multiplayer? Edit: It will.

Well...

I don't know anything about CGI so I'll ask: Could this revolutionize making CGI movies? It's impressive.

All I've heard was "I don't like what the game seems to be about so it will get 7-8/10 reviews and I won't accept anything higher because with that kind of hype it shouldn't get them" The discussions about reviews in general was ok, I guess. Was chatting with a mate today (haven't seen us in ages) and he straight up asked me: Dude, what do you think of NMS? My answer: "No matter what, I will buy it eventually, and I will play it because it seems to be everything I've ever wanted from a video game as a child. If it turns out to be shite I'll sell it. If it turns out to be incredible I will be the happiest gamer on earth." He then said to me: "Same here. The first time I've played a video game I wanted something like NMS to see the light of day and I can't wait to experience what it's like."

Of course not all Nintendo games would be successful/stand out, but I believe a majority would. You might be onto something. Can't believe I forgot about how games like Rocket League have been incredibly successful. I guess Splatoon could get quite an audience on other consoles.
-
Pretty sure that a Zelda on those consoles would destroy the likes of Horizon, or Mario would destroy every platformer available just by name alone. They might not be on the same pedestal as they are on Nintendo consoles but they could reach a similar spot. Games like Splatoon and Pokken definitely won't have a chance against Battlefield, CoD and Street Fighter, though.
-
Depends on what system we're talking about (i.e. Wii U or NX). If Nintendo released, let's say Super Mario 3D World on the PS4/Xbox One tomorrow I'd say the sales would be incredibly high. Most likely surpassing its sales on the Wii U eventually. I'd reckon somewhere between 10-20% of the userbase (Microsoft's and Sony's combined) is not too far-fetched. With games coming out on the NX it is an entirely different thing. Nobody knows what impact the NX will have so I can't make an assumption.
-
Yes, I do and no they wouldn't. If people had the choice between paying 60€ for a Nintendo game on a PS4 or forking out another 200-300€ for a Nintendo console to play a Nintendo game...well, you get my point.
-
I was talking about big IPs like Mario, Zelda, Metroid. IPs that with their name alone can create a fuzz that can't be rivaled. Games like Splatoon and Pokken obviously don't stand a change against competitors but the big Nintendo IPs could sell so much. If 20% of the 40 million PS4 userbase (i.e. 8 million gamers) would buy a Mario game it would sell as much as Super Mario 3D World and Super Mario Maker combined. And I'm pretty sure there are at least 20% of the PS4's userbase who'd love to play a Mario game without buying another console. The problem with Nintendo's home console is the userbase. If the Wii U had sold much more, software sales would've been so much higher obviously. I doubt that the NX can create a userbase comparable to that of the PS4 in the near future which will result in relatively low software sales.

Not a good month...

I was talking with one of my best friends about Pokémon Go's success. He said: "This might be an indication for how successful Nintendo could be as a 3rd party developer. If they released a Mario/Zelda/whatever IP-game on Xbox/PS4/PC it would become one of the most selling game in history." I think I agree with that (yes, we both know Nintendo didn't develop Pokémon go). And depending on how the NX will turn out it might be a reasonable choice for Nintendo to go 3rd party. Think about it...60 million XboxOne + PS4 players. Let's say Nintendo would release a Super Mario Galaxy 1+2 HD collection...I dare to say it would sell 30 million copies in a month. But maybe it's just a typical "easy to say"-situation...who knows. We'll probably never know (sadly).

@Tales helped me getting the multiplayer trophies today. I was being a moron at times and that one trophy wasn't popping when it should've been but it worked out in the end. Thanks again : peace: I owe you one. I really want to give this a proper go now but it's already late and I don't want to be up all night *starts game* ...

This is what worries me most...3 devices that need charging.
-
Didn't know something like this already exists. Need to broaden my horizon
-
Sorry, I got caught up in real life and then other games took up my freetime Thanks, I might get back to you : peace: I will as that's the first thing I do with games of this genre After some experimentaion in sandbox mode I'll tackle the campaign I'll try to figure everything out for myself but if I ever run into some trouble I'll ask
-
I know this is not official but if the button layout will be like this (sticks above buttons) I'll hate it. The general concept is nice, though. Unless I see information about software output I'll most likely stay indifferent to the NX.
