The OST is up on Spotify. It's glorious. Finished the game just now. The story is surprisingly deep in the end... Got several secret trophies with the help of savegame backups, so I won't have to worry about them in the future. Unlocked speedrun mode and the highest difficulty. Haven't tried both, yet, but apparently the bosses have more attacks in Furier mode... I was close to getting an S rank on my first playthrough...I got KO'ed too much so it was an A rank Oh well, next up is the speedrun mode. I love Furi. I'll say it again: It's the perfect game for me. You always have to think about timing, execution, positioning and movement and everything is based on your skill. There is absolutely no luck and no bullshit involved. Every attack can be evaded/parried even when you haven't seen it before. It's beautifully designed and it requires no memorisation (I hate "difficulty" which is just based on whether you memorise a level/pattern or not...) but memorising certain patterns will help. If you get hit it's your fault. And that makes it so much more rewarding when you land hits yourself and finally defeat a boss. There are a couple of things that could use improvement: Screen tearing, lip sync is horrible, animations outside of the fight could be better, some textures are a bit bland. But overall it's a great game. Not for everyone but objectively it's one of the best designed games in years. Really happy that we got it for free

Beat the fourth and fifth bosses just now. This game is so intense. Especially the final phase of each boss. It ramps things up one last time just to make the final few slashes so much more rewarding than they already would've been. [tweet]751025519374770176[/tweet] YES PLEASE. A mate and I want to become tutors for freshmen again in October. It would be our third year in a row. However, there is one girl who might also be a tutor then. This girl cheated on her boyfriend with my mate. She was apparently so drunk that she can't remember the activity and she didn't tell my mate that she had a boyfriend. Now here's the deal, she texted him today on facebook: "Just to let you know, I wasn't the one complaining. I just don't want anything do with you." Whether you believe her about the not complaining or not...some people, to be precise some women complained about my mate - the phrase used was literally "complaints by females". (it is very likely that these women are close friends with that girl). We don't know the specifics because it's just a rumor but one of the guys responsible for choosing who'll get to be tutors told my mate that he'll most likely be summoned to talk in front of the registrar's office to explain himself. What the actual fuck? First of all, it's that girls' own fucking fault for getting so drunk and cheating on her boyfriend. Secondly, that's no reason for anybody (especially people who have nothing to do with this) to accuse my mate of whatever it is they are accusing him off. And thirdly: Why the fuck can't people just talk to the person in question themselves? My mate is a really nice guy and he's also not one of those who like to be part of an affair, no matter which side. This makes me so angry...

During the first three fights I didn't have that problem. Then again, I don't really use the charged shots (even though the helped with the third boss). Fought against the 4th boss once. I couldn't get the dodges right in the first close quarter combat phase I failed... That OST is insane.

@kav82, you are way too happy. And you look way too similar to your Mii. And your girlfriend is very pretty. And you look really handsome. The lady and I had a conversation about what would happen if she went abroad for some time. I told her that I probably won't be able to do the long distance thing. She started crying (obviously) and said something that made me rethink the situation: "I really think that with you everything will be possible, that we can make everything work." Never in my life has a woman said something like that to me...It really feels like we have a future together, something that with past relationships in this stage (almost 1 1/2 years in) I've never felt. I shouldn't throw that away for a couple of months with only a spatial distance. So I told her that I'll try to make it work.

Managed to beat the second and third boss without dying : peace: Oh man, dat music. So far the bosses have been nicely varied. I was a bit worried that the bullet hell phases might become samey but that hasn't been the case, yet. This is the perfect example of how a game can be difficult without being unfair. You don't have to memorize patterns to win and you don't necessarily need incredible reflexes (unless you want/have to parry). If you are observant enough you can "decipher" the patterns almost immediately and then it's up to you to move and time your attacks accordingly. Really happy that Furi was one of this month's PS+ games
