Haven't read lots of Sci-Fi books so I can't really compare.

I'm about halfway through the first book and it's really good! A little difficult to read as I have to have a dictionary nearby and use it a lot, but a great read nonetheless.

Nope! Yeah, that Deck is rough. Just beat Red Stake with it. Barely pulled through almost-mid-game with Gros Michel. I was able to pivot to a Two Pair build during Ante 3, though With higher Stakes, Ante 1 becomes a little too RNG-dependent for my tastes. If you don't get an early mult-Joker, you're usually screwed. Now, starting a new run is quick and you don't lose anything, but sometimes I simply don't want to restart 5 times in a row because I get crapped on by shops with no Jokers

Helldivers 2 is a blast! Co-op perfection and complete madness Already can't wait to see what Arrowhead will bring to the table in the future. But what's there now is awesome!

To be fair, it was with one of the easier decks you can unlock. Gonna go with my Slay the Spire method now: only move to a higher Stake if I've beaten the previous one with all Decks!

Doesn't faze me. I just won a run on the highest Stake. I'M THE BEST

It's ridiculous how much better this game's battle system is compared to FFXVI's! Currently making my way through Chapter 3. Can't stop playing. My weekend's definitely sorted

Pretty much done with Chapter 2. But not ready to move on. Currently fighting a certain enemy again and again to level up. Is it efficient? No. Is it necessary? Probably not. Am I enjoying it? Yes

Woke up early to play more One annoying thing I noticed: Party members you don't control attack way too infrequently...their ATB Gauge barely fills up during fights. I don't remember if it was the same in Remake but goodness me it's infuriating Aerith is my designated healer right now with Cure set as an Auto-Ability but it's useless when I have to keep watching HP and her ATB Gauge.

Have I played this for 5 1/2 hours straight today? Yes! Will I play more after a Helldivers session? YES!

It's a dangerous game for sure It's crazy how much it sucks... These Stakes really do feel like Slay the Spire's Ascensions. You need to get fairly lucky early to have a chance to survive and then just play like a genius. Even then, RNG can and will fuck you up at times. Love it I might focus on unlocking the final 4 jokers next, before tackling all Stakes with all Decks. I need to play a 5 card hand that only contains Gold cards play a hand that contains four 7 of Clubs discard 5 Jacks at the same time in one hand, earn at least 100,000,000 chips

Gonna see if I can get a cheap copy after work Rushed through the demo last night so I can get some rewards in the full game because I'm a sucker like that

Won a run on standard difficulty with every deck For my list, I'm counting Balatro as "finished", but I'm far from done with it

I don't understand the problem...simply create infinite sequels for Slay the Spire and Balatro and the industry is saved

Whoohoo, I did it Now it's time to win a run with every Deck on every difficulty. Gonna be tough. The final difficulty reduces hand size by 1, which sucks My playtime is now at 36h. Yes...out of the last 7 days I spent 1 1/2 days playing this game.
