  1. Forgot to mention: Fun little time-trial racer for the PSVita. Yes, you read that right. I played a game on the best gaming device ever made again. Got the while I was fed up with FFXVI earlier this year. The grind was a little annoying as I had to crash a lot of times after finishing all the tracks. I also had to play the game for 10 hours total and fly 2500 miles. Wasn't even close to those numbers after being done with the races Anyways, still had a lot of fun with this. Been making my way through Tinykin. Completed the first 3 levels and got 100% completion on them, as well. The game goes way overboard with the pollen collectibles. Could've done with half of them and reduce the levels in size a bit. Aside from this, I'm enjoying it, though.
  2. @Hero-of-Time you were right, the game's fun Movement is very satisfying. But please...PLEEAAAASE. Why have a 0/1000 counter that once you reach 1000/1000 goes up to 1000/1600 Can you get 100% on every level immediately or do you have to get back eventually?
  3. @Julius With how things are moving on Steam and Youtube...are you doing ok or suffering from all the excitement?
  4. Sweet. Nice. Meh But doesn't seem to be that big of deal given this information. Downloading now, will start it later today.
  5. A Plague Tale: Innocence Well, well, well, look who showed up in chapter 3: Apparently supernatural, infinitely hungry mega rats which can eat a human being in 3 seconds but take literally forever to eat ham. Soooo...this isn't as grounded as I thought it would be. I'll hold off on any judgement until later, though. For now I'll roll with it. Don't see how varied the game will be with those rat moments, though. Also: If anything happens to Hugo, I will burn my PS5.
  6. @Hero-of-Time And now it's downloading. No idea what the hell happened there.
  7. On the web store it's not free. On my PS5 it says "included in your PS+ sub" and I could choose "download" but nothing happens. Edit: Now it keeps saying "something went wrong".
  8. I still have little time to game, but I have managed to reach 200 (out of currently 252) achievements in Halls of Torment. One of the many horde survival roguelites out there. It's a lot of fun even if it's still in early access. It lets you aim your attacks and comes with equipment that increase stats or give other bonuses (like summon a skeleton to fight for you every 15 seconds). Bought it last year for 4€ and it's been a good investment and a lovely game to play on the Steam Deck in bed at night I consider it "finished" for my list, but I will definitely keep playing this, especially with more updates on the horizon. Managed to get a few minutes of playtime with A Plague Tale: Innocence, as well, last night. Currently in chapter 2 and it's not too bad. I obviously don't like the "if you're caught you're immediately dead" stealth sections but everything else is quite good. Amicia's and Hugo's relationship, the atmosphere, the mystery, the world. Everything plays off of each other. I took today off from work because I have a pretty bad headache. I hope it gets better soon so I can play more, but right now posting and reading stuff is all I can do
  9. Is one of those games the one where you could lock the butler up in a walk-in freezer? This was the only thing I did as a kid while playing a Tomb Raider game. I'm ok now, though.
  10. Oh shit, didn't even know this was happening, thanks for the heads-up! Time to subscribe to the GDQ Youtube channel for a few weeks again
  11. Can't remember, so I guess not very memorable to say the least
  12. Impressions after 30 minutes: The bad: Performance mode is only 1080p and it looks terrible you can't rebind controls - who the fuck puts dodge on R2? the HUD is atrocious - way to much crap on screen The good: when you skip cutscenes or dialogue you get a short summary of what happens - that's awesome battles are fun - look, FFXVI, this is how it's done... Not going to play more as I will eventually get the full version, but as it stands now, this will not be a day-one game.
  13. Hm...Golden Sun. I might actually fire these games up again on my Steam Deck. Could be nice talking to people about it here
  14. Yup. Deleted it. Gonna give A Plague Tale: Innonce another chance now that the sequel is on PS+ now, too.
  15. Incredible! That's all I can say. It was sooooo good!
  16. Pff...making others do your dirty work? NO WAY. Sure, I'll share my thoughts
  17. After two weeks of going out every night for one reason or another, today will be the first day/evening I'll spend at home. What better time to start playing a "new" game. After the absolute disappointment that was FFXVI, I decided to go with Eldest Souls. Added to PS+ Extra in October 2023, this is - unsurprisingly - a souls-like game And apparently it focuses on bosses. So far I've encountered two (and no other enemies) and the second one kicks my ass because I have to get used to dodging not cancelling animations...so far combat plays out like this: run around and memorize enemies' attacks wait for enemies' attacks to be over attack the enemy This could become boring very quickly...but I'm gonna keep going to see more of the game to make more of an informed decision on whether I'll continue playing
  18. Demo will most likely release at midnight tonight. Time to fire up my PS5 after a bit of a hiatus
  19. Started watching Fleabag last night after someone recommended it to me. It's hilarious. I got told that Andrew Scott will be in Season 2 and that he is amazing in it (as if he's not amazing in everything). Can't wait
