I don't like Game #1 and I've played Game 2# last year. So my vote goes to Game #3!

Looks like there will be a bit of a shake-up coming in the wonderful world of football. If it's true what I've been reading so far I might actually be done for good with watching this sport...at the very least I will be done being an FC Bayern Munich fan. Just google "Football Leaks" and enjoy the ride.

To preface: Anyway... No release date or business model have been announced, yet, but it's Activision and a mobile game so...TAKE A FUCKING GUESS.

Finished Yoku's Island Express just now. What a lovely little game. If someone told 10 year old me that I'm going to play a pinball-metroidvania game when I'm a grown man I would've not believed him. It is a pretty neat genre combination I have to admit. It's not a difficult game, it's actually really easy but it was enjoyable. Getting around the island in order to acquire enough fruit to advance was a little cumbersome at times but overall it's a great game. Not sure when/if I'm going to mop up the remaining trophies, though. I've had my fill of this game for now.

Definitely, but I'm not that into horror. Is it a movie with lots of jump-scares?

Awesome! I already feel sorry for my mate's neighbours. We'll scream and curse non-stop and it'll only get worse once the beer is empty

You think it will take @Hero-of-Time one whole week to complete the game? Two days max. Two of my best friends and I have taken the 7th off from work. We'll meet up and play Ultimate until the weekend's over. Just like we did with Melee 16 years ago...Jeez, 16 fucking years ago. Can't wait Beer, Pizza, Smash and banter. What else could you need

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 ( 12th Oct 2018 )
drahkon replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Other Consoles
Reading the game's subreddit is hilarious. So many people complaining about the Black Market (progression system based on tiers you get by simply playing matches - rewards are cosmetics only). Apparently a lot of them don't find the game enjoyable anymore because Activision uses it to make money. While I can agree that the publisher's actions are the worst, it's funny to me that people have less fun with the game in general just because of some cosmetics and the fact that it's almost impossible for the casual player to get them all. I simply just play the game and enjoy it It's high-octane action in multiplayer, slower-paced tension in Blackout and just insanity in Zombies. -
Well, holy fucking shit...looks like Dead Cells will become a totally different affair with the next patch. Apparently there will be lots of changes to mechanics that are in the game right now...here are some snippets that I took from reddit: Really like that. Right now it's kind of insane how easily enemies in the final biome can kill you. With this change the following is a no-brainer: Good! While I haven't unlocked a lot of skills/grenades and therefore haven't really encountered the skill-spamming-and-wrecking-everything-method, I appreciate this change. Will make the game more mechanical (for a lack of better word). There are some changes I'm not too keen on, but to be honest those might all be balanced out by the big one: no more mob scaling. Here's the reddit post. It's speculation based on dev's posts/comments but seems not too far fetched. I'm actually thinking about pausing my progress with the game and wait for both patches. However, they do seem far away, especially on console (I think PC gets updates first). Difficult choice Anyway...probably a pointless post since nobody aside from @Ronnie and me are playing this

And there it is. My first successful run in Dead Cells. It was my 19th attempt. (stats say I died 13 times so far, no idea where the remaining 6 failed runs come from, though ) Took me about an hour. I was very deliberate with every move and decision throughout the whole ordeal. This was the loadout that secured my win: I fell in love with a Tactics build. The legendary Sinew Slicer and the Double Crossb-o-matic are awesome. They let you abuse most enemies' AI since they always stay in line of sight and you can just drop down and let the turrets do the job However, certain enemies have moves that can ruin this approach by e.g. teleporting to you. Anyway... The final boss fight almost ruined me yet again. It started well, but his last phase and moveset still fucks me up. I killed him with only about 10% of my own HP to spare. Phew Now the game has given me the choice of doing a run in "normal" or "hard" mode. I think I'll pass on a higher difficulty for now and try to find more blue prints. Dead Cells is a perfect example for a great "just-one-more-try-game". It kept me away from RDR2 and CoD: Black Ops 4 in the past few days. And here's something that made me chuckle to end this post:

via Pushsquare Well, fuck you then. Will be a 10€ used-copy-purchase for me further down the line

Log Entry #3 It was a long journey. Meticulously I explored a foreign scenery. Dead bones decaying without rest. Empty skulls gazing through my every move. The battles fierce and messy. Occasional wrong decisions, missed swings and an onrush of slimey, juicy beings made out of corpses rendered progress difficult. In the end I prevailed and was able to make the rune I was searching for my own. With new found confidence I marched on, slaying beasts, improving my skills and gaining riches. Familiar surroundings presented no challenge until the end of my journey was near. The final enemy. One last battle to decide whether life or death prevails. Swords, lightning, ice, poison, spikes, broken bones, cuts, wounds, bruises, blood, sweat, grenades, fire...elements of war clashed and made the clock's hands move faster without anybody noticing. Instinct took over, thoughts escaped the mind, muscles moved without help. Mechanical, robotic, unconscious. In the end...death was victorious and the journey is over... ... for now. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Dead Cells. In case you're wondering: I enjoy the game quite a lot

Wow. Only once? I'm disappointed.

I will come back tomorrow evening to read @Hero-of-Time's "Hey, I completed Super Mario Odyssey 8 times today; and I finished Assassin's Creed Odyssey twice."-post

Never played those. Don't have a Switch so no idea if I'll ever get to play them There are enough indie games out there that challenge me, though Dead Cells now being the newest in my collection.

drahkon's Dead Cells adventure continues: Looks like I've reached what is supposed to be the final boss and holy hell...he wrecked my balls. Guess I need to practice a lot more. Decided to do a couple of speedy runs in order to unlock the timed doors. Not my kind of playstyle to be honest. You do, however, get a nice amount of cells. Still, I think for now I prefer to explore at my own pace. Love the choice you're given, though. Play more tactical/safe, explore and get more upgrades but miss out on those timed doors; or rush through the levels, miss out on upgrades and get more cells. It's nicely balanced. I enjoy this game immensely. Best 18 bucks I've spent recently

Been playing this for another hour again. Did a couple of side missions and on my way to each of them I had so many awesome random moments. Two dudes had "a proposition" for me...suuuuuure. I shot 'em dead. Later, an injured guy fell off his horse. I did the decent thing and brought him to a doctor. While the doctor was treating him I robbed the doc's register. Went off to the next side mission, on my way I rode through a swamp but didn't realise that there were quite a few crocodiles in the area. The second I understood what's around me my hose threw me off and I entered panic mode because I thought the animals would attack me. As it turned out, they didn't. Few minutes later I approached a guy and his camp, just wanted to see if he got something to do for me. I got off the horse and that dude immediately started shooting. Well...another one bit the dust as I put a bullet in his head. And during all my travels I managed to "crash" my horse into carriages, trees, rocks, houses and it was always hilarious Oh and the side missions: Lots of fun -

Name of your sextape. Boom, Brooklyn Nine-Nine reference. Anyways, did some cleaning this afternoon so haven't played much. I completed a couple of missions just now, though. Enjoyed it very much. t's a typical Rockstar Games affair, so if you didn't like their older games then you will definitely not like this one. Had a random encounter with two men who threatened me. Needless to say I shot them. A few minutes later I robbed a lady and got 80 cents. Was not worth it So far, so good -
