Fair enough. Then my answer is: To have another option to play multiplayer when friends aren't available. And trolls are easy to avoid by quitting the game and finding a new one I don't really get that argument. If you're "afraid" of trolls you shouldn't play multiplayer at all. Even friends can be annoying

To have another option to play with other people. An option that I've had for almost two decades with any other platform. An option that should be standard these days.

Tetris 99 makes me feel like an old man. I usually get to grips with a game's control scheme very quickly but for some weird reason it's insanely difficult for me in this game I'm so hilariously bad at this Most of the time I audibly go "wow, you dumb fuck, that was a horrible move", and 30 seconds later I lose. I feel so old

Yeah, local is the way to go for my Nintendo multuplayer needs. I prefer to trash-talk in person during my typical ownage in Smash Bros and Mario Kart How about as soon as it arrives? I'm going for a digital version, since this is pretty much my go-to game right now and I'd hate to switch cartridges in the future In other news, since I don't own any games, yet, I decided to give Tetris 99 a go and while I suck at Tetris it's still weirdly fun. Getting my ass kicked but that's to be expected when you're this bad Pretty cool that my sister added me to the family subscription so now I get acces to the NES and SNES library, too.

Not going to buy it, so yeah My online gaming needs are met by the PS4, anyways. Nothing is better than Slay the Spire. If there is a game I'd want to play on my deathbed it'll be this. First of all, I keep telling EVERYONE that it's good. And yes, from now on I'll probably refer to my Switch as "Slay the Spire machine", even though I don't own the game, yet.

I am now a Switch owner I've known about the device before; held it many times. I'm still surprised how "toy-ish" the Joy-Cons feel. Especially considering that the screen/device itself feels much better. And that dock...don't get me started. Will see for a while whether I'll put it to use or if that horrible piece of plastic is just there to be sold Anyway. Don't want to buy any games, yet, as I won't have much time to play for a couple of days, anyway. Might give some demos a try. Cadence of Hyrule springs to mind.

Anyone here who bought a Switch + Mario Kart 8 Digital Bundle? I could get one for 300€ and would like to know if the game comes pre-installed or if it's a download code? If it's the latter I could sell it as I'm not interested in the game
