Their stupidity of including DRM in PC titles (superior versions of their games, not the 360 versions) meant that people went and got the non-DRM pirated versions, meaning they lost money. People who bought the real thing got frustrated with DRM. I don't care how good the games they produced were by throwing money at them, they're still arseholes.

I want young Snake face. Anyone know if there'll be a young Snake outfit?

Wogan even predicts who will get the 12's before they're even announced. Eurovision has become a political motivated points-fest, and mostly determined now by Easter European block-voting. The only reason I say we are somewhat different (we're really not) is that we have fewer countries we are really close to in Europe so our scores more or less go to anyone (after Ireland). My whole point about Europe is that by being separated we have less close contacts with other European countries.
-
In the past we did win. The contest has changed a lot and that was one of Wogan's biggest beefs. The people winning these days are mostly Eastern European and usually all voting for their neighbours. Anyone who watches Eurovision in Britain (trashy but fun) knows this.
-
Every song sucks, that's the idea. The points reflect favourites and politics. You're missing the point, I don't care about UK winning. I'm just proving that neighbours become close and that's reflected in the scoring system. And this can be related to the lack of warmth UK has to other European countries while having no joined neighbours (as another point of proof, Ireland is close to us and they commonly give us a slab of points in the Eurovision too).
-
Then they must have different attitudes. British people commonly have the attitude that they don't really want to be that closely associated with Europe or adopting their currency. And in my opinion that's strongly to do with the fact we have always been an island and somewhat disconnected from other countries. Other islands are also disconnected yet haven't adopted such an view, but I still believe being an island has strongly affected our view. A silly example but still proves a point- in the Eurovision countries directly adjacent to each other commonly give each other maximum points, while the disconnected UK commonly scores nothing/next to nothing. It's a song contest, but as Wogan nicely put it, it shows each countries' favourites.

The pound is still worth more than the Euro... and given the fluctuations I have no doubt that the pound will become stronger again. I did like being able to buy American goods much cheaper through the GBP>USD conversion, hopefully at some point the pound will get stronger. I don't really see the need in our country being so closely connected to Europe, when I don't feel we are. The fact we're an island separated away from everyone as well as speaking the same language as USA/Australia (thus making me feel like we have more of a connection with them, if anything) means I don't much care for the Euro. Plus the Euro coins and notes are an absolute farce. Us Brits are quite proud of our currency, and somewhat independence, most of us more than any advantages to be had from switching to the Euro.

The most annoying thing about being European is waiting up to 6 months or more to get games translated into languages that we don't need. Meh, Europe.
-
Exactly, used to be nowhere near that.

Well, if it always goes hideously wrong and you end up in hospital there's always the Song of Time.

It's crazy how many Euros you can get for a pound now. I blame the French.

Congrats, I passed mine first time a couple of years ago but still no car. Living so close to a Met stop means I don't have much need for one...Metrolink is the best way to get round in Manchester.

Just make sure it's not that the 'freshness' of a new girlfriend (that sounded wrong) isn't just more tempting than the actual girl herself. It might just be lust driving you towards the woman. What do you know about her personality?
-
Ah right, too many people on here. I would say don't even go to her yet since you already have a girlfriend. You might not really like the girl, but since you don't know her as well as your girlfriend she seems more of an interest and someone new. If you really don't feel much for your girlfriend anymore then it's best to break up with her first rather than pursue other interests. It's not really fair on your girlfriend, and even if you're just adding her on facebook you ultimately know why you're doing this, so it's not a good idea.
-
You're still in a relationship? Weren't you the guy who had the problem with your girlfriend where she and some guy robbed your e-mail accounts? Or am I thinking of someone else...

Well if you have a student railcard from NatWest I know it says on the back that you can use it to get a discount in Game.

There is no point in asking anything of EA because they are arseholes of the worst kind.

Isaac said he knew how it ends, probably referring to the grand scheme of things. He may well have known that in order for events to transpire in a particular way he had to continue producing the comics or act in a particular way.

No offence, but that second girl from the left looks smacked off her tits.

tbh the DLC doesn't really interest me. I liked Fable 2 at the time but it feels really old now for some reason. I guess I played it a fair bit back when it came out.

In the weird storyline of Heroes, at the point of Isaac realising it it was going to happen it was going to happen. Then it was sorted out afterwards as a result of him drawing the paintings...meaning what Isaac saw was the future but in painting it it no longer was. Bizarro.
