This game really enters a league of it's own once you reach hard mode. I was having trouble with it first, but then it just clicked and I'm flying through it. I think after finishing Through the Fire and the Flames on medium with four attempts under my belt everything just started coming together. It feels really good to do all the hammer ons and pull offs as well, even if it is totally unnecessary.

Does anyone else get the illusion of everything around you getting bigger after a playing a song staring into the screen? Like when you look into a hypno disc kind of thing and then look away? It feels really horrible.

That's a delicious update, I literally rolled over slightly out of my bed when I saw it, I was that excited. One thing I'm starting to notice is that Sakurai seems to be setting this up to be the final game in the series, making everything perfect. Don't know whether that's good or bad.

I'd care about mics if I didn't absolutely detest in-your-face nerds with a superioty complex, shouting how I'm gay and I suck, whether I win or lose. And I don't like kids who's voices are actually the white noise.

I really don't think Mr Generic Animal Crossing Character is going to be playable, considering it's already a background element in the Animal Crossing level. I just really can't see it happening.

It looks very Dreamcast. By which I mean it looks like one of those utterly amazing obscure games you find exists on the Dreamcast everyday.

I'll miss Doctor Mario, I only just noticed how much better than Mario he was too. Just a bit too late.
