Actually turns out I'm more 281 light than 288 - does that make much of a major difference to your advices @Zell and @Sheikah? If so what's currently best way to up light?

I seee. In my head I've imagined raids to be a bit harder than other stuff - and we already struggle with some of the higher level strikes! Well...not struggle, just sometimes a bit deathy. I think a bad run of Prison of Elders put me off thinking we'd be good enough too. I'm presuming all raids run at 6 people, given the organising I've seen going on here? I'm currently like 288 light or something iirc. I'll talk to my mate about working through the rest of TTK quests and stuff we haven't done then look to get raiding... (will also need to work on that legendary sword dealie, not gotten it yet but think I just need to collect the hadium flakes reading up about it)

This might be a bit of a silly question - but who do folks recommend I be doing around 290 light level to try and get better stuff? Should I be equipping all legendaries that I like and infusing them? There's still content for me to complete in the way of quests etc - but what sort of becomes the main game point once you've got that all out of the way? Obvs know about raids(not sure about taking any on yet) and sub-things like crucible, prison of elders, but anything else? Other than bounties I'm not doing much other than the occasional quest/strikes when my mate's on atm.

    Terraria

Another bump, as I'm totally smacked out on this again(played from about 7pm til like 4am last night, this damn game!) - but I was wondering for anyone who played the console versions; Other than pumps, are there any good/easy ways to duplicate liquids? I've been looking on tinternets, but they seem more PC specific. The J/U drain thing doesn't work particularly well as 'clicking' isn't rapid, and filling the bucket actually seems to create a new item that you then pick up; slowing everything down and just making it generally quite pathetic. I tried a couple other things/methods I found but they didn't seem terribly effective, so I'm not sure if they're old version things that were fixed or if I'm just doing them wrong... My world also seems to have crimson but isn't spawning any vicious mushrooms yet(in place of vile mushrooms for corruption) not sure if it's a glitch or a condition thing, but it's a bit annoying as I want to eventually fight the brain a lot!

    Terraria

Played a bit of a chunk this morning - forgot about some of the updates they'd put in compared to my original play through on PC. Whilst I'd definitely say the cursor/mouse and some of the inventory controls felt better/easier with PC, there's something about the pad that I find a bit more comfortable for character controls. Having said that I haven't done tons beyond mining/collecting/exploring, so it may come to a fight where I fail miserably, and I'm already missing some hotkeys as it is. Still...loving Terraria. Don't know if I'd say it's as good for me as the PC version despite the above - but having it on my PS4 makes it quite handy and I can foresee me getting a decent playthrough out of it again. Maybe I'll actually take on hardmode properly for once this time...

Boomp. So some of you will recall how much I loved this on PC - caved today and decided to grab the PS4 version as it's only £4 on PSN atm and I thought why not at that - not had a chance to actually play much but was just wondering for those who've played both are there any major differences between this and the PC version(which I played rather a while back now)?
  7. I can't check cos I'm at work at the moment - but is there a limit to the total Superpoints reward amount you can earn? I know with the one day 25x they did recently the small print limited it at like £50 or something(still excellent, though).
  8. Isn't water always liquid, and usually flowing? C'mon bob, you're a doctor! Interesting nonetheless, but if it's taken us this long just to find water - how long til we find the other potential implications of it??

But I don't remember playing with you? I jest. Though seriously I am probably the weak link in deaths(despite trying to cover). I'm usually first to die, then others follow, but I revive a lot when I can too. I never joined a faction btw - was this a terribly terrible idea? I just couldn't choose so never did. I probably should. Will likely do so with my other characters if/when I level them.
  10. I'd heard good things, but I'm coming to understand it's local multi only? That certainly does take a bit out of it, as I've only one DS4 atm(though could get extra when needed). I'd tried googling the plus games and found the Meat Boy rumour - I kinda enjoy the game but really it's not my cup of tea these days(but who knows, might change when it's on my PS4). It seems like they really got a lot of their good games out earlier on and maybe late adopters like me aren't necessarily getting the same quality - not that I'm particularly complaining mind, can see how it come about.
  11. Not at all a level ID as I haven't uploaded/made much new but is it just me, or have the miiverse level images gone a bit shitty in quality? Like they all look a bit rough right now, and I swear they weren't before?!
  12. It seems Towerfall Ascension doesn't have any thread of its own - any reason why? Is it terrible/terribly bare? Noticed it's going for sub-fiver on PStore and somewhat tempted, but without a thread I am no unsure! Also how soon do the PS plus free games become apparent? Just curious what's coming up really. (also I still want to labour the point about how much I wish the PS4 had a play log, but that's just something I'm going to constantly grumble about in the background)

    Destiny

Playtime: 1d 2h 55m. Haven't even had my PS4 a month. Whoever told me to get this game(believe it was the knowledgeable @Shorty?) is a genius. Also big props to my mate for playing with me and keeping it fun. Was on for pretty much all of yesterday(12/1ish til...12/1ish!) and we rinsed out The Taken King story iirc. There's still some gaps on the maps that we haven't done, but yeah...this game. Good game. Not sure where we're gonna be going next, though. Anyway - me and he are both like 240ish light level Titans atm - if anyone's after people to do stuff online and that's a light level that suits do give me a mention! We're gonna try and get Marcamillian involved too but I don't think he'll be as dedicated/wasteman as us. Would be pretty good if we had another regular 3rd man that fits in with us, but alas I don't think anyone else is as unemployed/superflexitime.
  14. Been seeing some of various folks photos on facebook - what were the highlights and interesting points of your trips(other than meeting awesome people from an online forum)?

What are the highest level recs on the strikes you guys are going? Me and a mate could probs do with an extra to make numbers if peeps want(are all strikes 3 man?)

    Destiny

Huh? Its called Red Death, pulse with attack of 160. Also feeling a bit of a prat - though Xur was around til tomorrow and now I've missed him and his tasty gauntlets

    Destiny

Yeah was thinking it seems to have a lot of cool stuff on it - but surely I want to have something that's hitting hard? Plus it's a pulse rifle(primary) rather than a Fusion(secondary) - I've come to like both more recently but the latter is definitely coming up for certain situations! I originally was a Hand Cannon kinda guy, then a little scout rifle, maybe now pulse rifle(if it's a stable one/little recoil...which this one isn't) and Snipers moving into Fusions as my secondary. Whilst I don't seem to hit any precisions(can you even? It just seems not) with a fusion, the absolute smattering of damage it does on accurately hitting is pretty tasty, and I find it can make some enemies recoil where my other stuff won't. They feel essentially like long range shotties! But yeah. I'm going now. Destiny awaits. My mate's gotta go out so I'll maybe start up a warlock or continue my hunter, planning to use the Lv25 thingy on the Warlock and level the Hunter playing.

    Destiny

This game. Played from about half 11 til half 4 this morning with my mate - gonna jump on for more in a bit too! Finished up the House of Wolves story line and then did the Prison of the Elders - however the guy we ended up teamed with felt a bit of a maverick liability, and at the end when me and my mate didn't know where the chests with all the loots was he had gotten/gone down there and opened it within seconds, starting the mission end timer - very annoying, and we got nothing -.- Having said that we shortly gave it another crack, didn't get matchmade so was just the two of us, then a guy came halfway through our third round and he was much more awesome. Totes on the ball, waiting for us etc. and we got through things much quicker this time - and we all waited at the chest for each other before opening. Which then brings me back to... ...I got a yellow thing! Twas a pulse rifle, actually a bit weaker than the one I was rocking right there, but I've equipped and used it a bit. Will yellows get more awesome, or is this another case of scrapping if it's shit/being able to infuse/level it to be better? Hadn't realised you can only have two exotic pieces at a time(weapon+armour) which is making me consider whether to buy Zur's gauntlets that he has atm, or hope that I'll get something better at a later date...
  19. Yeah, I've enjoyed your designs that I've played so far @Glen\-i. In terms of rewards - possibly something more for the players side rather than creators. Being able to see someone's most played levels? Total levels played? Completed/Abandoned? Times for levels? Something to motivate people to play and complete - just feel that nothing really exists to encourage that atm. No big deal, and doesn't destroy the game as obvs people will still be playing levels etc - but it could be a good extra on top.
  20. I probably haven't played as much, but can definitely see where you're coming from for the first in terms of sound effects/visuals etc. For the second...I can see it being frustrating for some(an issue I had with some of Cube's levels actually, though I've beaten all bar one on principle). If you're faced with a super tough level - what's the incentive to beat it? You can easily skip levels if you like, or just jack it in and play another - by the nature of the title you're never going to go short. With older mario games you had to play tough levels - because you were often not given another option. The flipside applies that you often WERE given another option in terms of say SMB1/2 warp zones, SMB3 mutliple paths, SMW Star road+mutliple paths etc BUT there was still points within all where your options at times could be really limited - the only thing that kept you going was to keep on going so you keep on going! There's no 'keeping on' in SMM because no 'path' is there tying things together. Personally my own design plan going forward(which is still formulating, and probably going to change, plus depends on actual motivation to create) will be to have either multiple options open to the player - or optional useless but rewarding feeling bits(something which is in my first level, basics 1-2), or if there has to be hard parts at least some token reward there - be it a power up or coins or a 1-up or what. In one of Cube's levels there was a bit where I fell, and there was a bit of a run right, before I realised I was in a dead end - something as simple as a bunch of coins, 1-up, coin block there etc could have made me feel less annoyed for wasting my time - despite such a thing, in actual fact, being completely of no consequence. Though I'm throwing back to my previous point here basically.
  21. Been doing my nut for days since I saw it! I apologise Retro but I had to edit your title, only just back on full forum view to do it :p Finally got round to watching the vid too - beautiful yet not dull; as some seem to expect Zelda might become were it to heavily graphics up. It just makes me hnnnng for a 3D LttP, though. How glorious might such a thing be?
  22. Made my way through Cube's(bar the Arwing) levels this morning and some of Glen-I's(sure I did someone else's too but can't recall now). Also spent some time making last night - still only unlocked like 3 rows worth of stuff annoyingly. I'm finding the 'game' somewhat interesting. Thinking about Mario from a design point of view and encountering things is intriguing. One thing I find strange - is how much stuff actually just seems to work. My mate had a quick play around yesterday and whilst his level isn't terrible sophisticated(Simon's Jam, one of the only two I've uploaded) it was amusing enough for both the way some of the things went, but also how three different people approached it. Speaking of approach as well - I find it intriguing how conditioned we are to get coins and do stuff! I suppose speedrunners are already use to ignoring a lot of level elements, but for a game that's essentially the big original, and often thought of, linear platformer - there's actually lots of stuff in levels that you often simply just don't need to do, but doing so easily leads to one's downfall. Having said that - one thing I feel the game does lack in some ways is a greater sense of reward. 1-Ups are somewhat meaningless(less so in previous Mario games, though I'd say in recent years I've never gotten to a point of actually getting a game over), and beyond simply completing a level - it feels there isn't much motivation for doing so, or finding things within the level. Without stats, records etc. it can seem a bit bland and over-saturated with crap for those who are more players than makers. I guess the gameplay is its own reward - but it isn't feeling quite enough for me at times.
  23. Yeah I thought I'd heard of that myself too. Not sure what I'll be up to come the weekend, but will let you know if I've got some time for the Splatoons!

Can I just check as I'm sure I saw something somewhere about it - should I be bothered about scrapping Blue gear? I've been dismantling greens I don't need, but wasn't sure about if Blue's useful for anything. Also what's the deal with purple? I got something purple or two from quests, and would expect they're going to be awesome but they currently aren't - seems to be they could be? Or is that more of a year 1 thing? Am I missing something? (probably, yes)
