  1. Statsbots? Stats for what?
  2. I've got three across two of the compost pots(the other compost pot and the sand seem to be fail :(), maybe cos I covered those two with some cling film. But I am excited! If they survive and grow I could get more seeds! In fact, I still have some seeds I haven't planted yet...I shall take some pics/vid when they grow big! :D

  3. I has shoots!

  4. Aye, realised/considered that today whlist conversing with someone who mentioned partitions! It won't *quite* be enough, but it'll be nice cos it means I have a majority of stuff/space available and don't need too much more(the c: drive has about 40GB of data max, i imagine a large part of which is windows and program files, just my documents to think of beyond that). Msconfig, I tried to disable ALL startup services and programs, except Microsoft/Windows processes, still freezes. Then tried to go for the System Restore from safe mode, seems that in it's original attempdingtings to fix itself, the blasted bastard thing has wiped any and all trace of any restore points, so I'm fucked. I'm jsut gonna back up my data somehow through safe mode(presuming I can) and then do a system restore. Thanks for all your helps and things guys!
  5. I've had a look, and the best I can find is the Acer eRecovery Console(accessed by pressing Alt+F10 at boot), but that bastard only offers me to restore to factory default, restore from a cd/dvd(like a user made one, I think), or something else which I forgot but basically it all means it's gonna restore the entire computer to how it was when I got it, I'd rather not do that! I'm on the laptop now, but I'm running in safe mode, from what I can gather the fact I can run in safe mode means there's some driver problem that doesn't occur when in safe mode because it isn't loaded, right? Is there any easy way for me to find out what that driver is, then run in safe mode and replace it?
  6. Just to say, tried booting in safe mode and it hung for a while on crcdisk.sys, but finally got there. McPhee, I unfortunately don't have any Windows disk, it came pre-installed on the laptop(which is why I hate shit like that, because of shit like this), what would a 'repair install' do anyhow? Just repair all the system files by re-installing them specifically?
  7. So I tried turning my computer on this morning after a long night of hard partying, and when I did so(it had been hibernated) it came up to the login screen for vista, then it was frozen when I tried to put the password in. So, I hold the power to turn it off, leave it 30 seconds, turn it back on, this time it says about windows not starting or something how to start etc, I think I went for start normally. So it tries...but fails, freezes at the loading bar thing! So I do the reboot again, gives me the option to launch startup repair(which I do, it asks if I want to system restore so I say yes) and it says it should work. But...it doesn't work! Freezes at the loading bar whenever I try to start windows. Basically cycle this a few times startup repair runs a few times, eventually it tells me that the error is one that cannot be repaired automatically. Does anybody...have any solutions to this? Preferably one which won't involve a factory state restore thing?
  8. Wetterix! That's what I always thought the dude was saying. Anyhow, through a bit of IRC chattery a conversation flowed from one thing to another until I got onto the subject of this game and it brought up so many old school memories and so I felt the need to discuss it in order to curb my hankering for it. Does anyone remember this gem of a game? I had it on N64, though twas apparently on Dreamcast and PC as well. A puzzle game at heart really, I found it quite addictive once I got used to everything it had to offer(which was hard, cos my memory card was shit). But yeah, basically, anyone remember this? I understand it had a sequel released on PS2 called Aqua Aqua, I'm just wondering if anyone played either and what they thought of it? Here's some pics; Dunno why it looks so rough in the PC version pics...
  9. What! I'm still gonna be there! Last year I didn't get there til like 2 or 3, then I left by 7! AND I made it to the xmas st albans meet DESPITE losing my wallet! So fuck you ReZ man, fuck you right in the eye!
  10. So is everyone slowly flaking on meetup awesomeness? Cos...errr....I might, a bit, just a tiny bit. A friend has decided to have her birthday up in regent's park on the same day, though I have no idea of time, so I'm gonna come up for this early(which I planned anyway) then maybe head over there depending what time they're there from/til, though really this is my priority cos it's so rare, and cos it was organised first. So worry not(or do), I shall still be there!!
  11. Rather opinionated little fella ain't ya? I gotta say, I agree with Deathjam, the Galaxy ones look better(i wouldnt mind it looking like that when i played it!) and also the Brawl one is awesome. The MH3 one without the 'bloom' or whatever it's called is quite nice too, but that bloom was does indeed look mighty awful, but then I also don't know what the original looked like, so it might just be design fault there too.
  12. Woop wooooop! Happy birthday goaf!
  13. Bitching bitches. Who IS coming eh? WHO??
  14. This. Though yeah, your post cleared stuff up(and it wasn't really all that long). I say...do not pay the money and continue with desmonding/other online entertainingsings yourself up. Could there even be a possibility of the guy trying to sting you for some cash? Regardless of jacketings. Maybe his friend Seb is blaming HIM for it, and pressuring him for monies and he's taking it out on you. Something IS a bit fishy that I can't quite place, but maybe I'm just presuming things off what other people have said here. If I were you in your boat(tho I'm unsure I'd have got there, but I can see how it happened), I'd probably just tell him to go fuck himself, if he wants to be a douche about it it's upto him but he sounds like nothing significant really. Of course, you're gonna have to be wary of any possible repercussions, he might be a secret psycho!
  15. Why were you texting jack when you were going round to Ollie's, and not contacting Ollie? Why did you go back and leave it with the girls if Jack is your housemate and Ollie's friend, why did you not leave it with him? When you say you sent a message, facebook or text? How do you actually pronounce Cerys? Do you honestly feel no fault at all here? Despite taking the jacket into your care for a short while in order to attempt to drop it round to Ollie's(which he actually only knows cos you told him). Did you know that the jacket was Seb's before you actually physically got your jacket back? Have you considered it's quite a serious sum of money for a group of people who are really probably quite poor? Have you imagined yourself in the situation the other way round? Why is Jack involved, and why is Ollie involved(to some extent), why are you not talking to Seb if this is such an issue and have you tried? Would you be willing to split some cost with him 50/50 or some such? Do you think it was sensible to put so much faith in all these people? A message to Ollie, a brief word to the people who you left the jacket with, did you not consider it might be worth chasing everyone up to make sure the jacket was returned/collected in good time? What are the implications of not paying anything for the jacket/admitting fault? Are you gonna see these people again? Are they good friends of yours? Are they...dispensable? Have you been made aware that if you need cheering up/distraction, pretty much all of Desmonds is now online at 4oD? I realise it's alot of questions, tbh it isn't written in a very friendly or helpful way, I was writing those as they came to mind and cannae be bothered to go phrase it all properly, but I'm not taking any actual sides yet, I'm kind of seeing it from both and I dunno what I'd do in that...
  16. Jackets are srs business, especially to some people, especially when new. Dude puked up on my jacket once, he didn't even offer me money for the dry cleaning. I didn't even get to hit the bastard neither! Well, I did, but he was so fucked it would have just been hollow. True Story. If I lost me a jacket that I cared enough about to get back, well, I'd go and get that mother back! Admittedly if I was in the possession of another jacket, I wouldn't give it back til I got mine back, not devious but just how I'd roll with it, who knows if I *would* get my jacket back, might as well get something out of it, ESPECIALLY if some other dickhead left with my jacket(actually happened to me once with some coats, never got mine back either). As for what you've done wrong...hmm, I'm not sure, I need to put myself in this situation a bit more first, one bit of your story totally confused which jacket was which and it totally fucked me over in my thinking cos I spent the rest trying to figure out what was what?
  17. Suited like a pimp, which I brought up in IRC and so I decided I shall post it here too for all the world to see!
  18. Ah, didn't realise you were dyslexic, hope I didn't cause any offense. I think you must have fixed most of them anyway, cos that's all I seem to be able to see now.
  19. Looks good, except for all those typing errors, but I'm sure you're cleaning those up, right? Only other plus point woulda been to have names of the people you spoke to, but I guess you don't and you seem to get the point across anyway.
  20. I know you can get real cheap tickets from brum to london(to marylebone via high wycombe), super saver off peak though they tend to have travel time restrictions, but it's also a 1 month open return(not that you'd need that). I should imagine an advance fare has gotta be cheaper than that as well! You're looking less than £20 either way, maybe less than £15 if you've got a YP.
  21. Moar BISH!
  22. You are, without a doubt, the special-est boy I know.
  23. Cigar! (actually from a few weeks ago, as the facial hair may imply) Me and Marcamillian, showdown to the death! (/falling over unable to get up)
  24. Damn, I actually thought this ended tonight anyway. Glad I stuck those last BISHes in yesterday! I have another, but I'm waiting on SOMEONE to post so I can make it look epicly cool. I like the idea of both, though me and marcamillian were saying the unfortunately complex points system can encourage people to BISH more creatively, going for the harder/less done ones in order to get more points. The second is much easier to 'score' though, but not good for people on time constraints, which might be quite a few of us.
  25. Why did this die? I was quite enjoying it. If goafer isn't gonna pick a winner, I think jay should.
