I think we're already seeing with the DS the new approach Nintendo is taking. It's getting a lot of games you'd never expect it to, from developers who couldn't give a shit about the GC (Burnout Legends anyone?). I think the reason we're seeing this change only on the DS and not GC is because the GC is effectively dead, any games made on it won't achieve the sales it would on the DS. In the end it's about the money, if they continue to market the DS and co-operate with 3rd parties more openly then we should see some great games for the Revolution. A lot being 3rd party.

I'm open to my MSN buddies, pretty much like normal friends would be. Not so much on websites unless the topic requires you to be i.e. "What did you do last night?". I have no problem with giving out my name and age, I do tend to keep back my address and post code because I get enough junk mail as it is. I'd be very surprised if I got a stalker of any kind so that part doesn't really bother me. I think people find it easier to be open on the internet because there's still a certain level of anoyminisity. Unless it's a webcam convo of course then it feels a lot more real.

It seems many people were expecting too much from the GC. True, it failed in some aspects (online) but I think the quality of the games remained the same and there are probably more.

Tiberian Sun was my first PC game, it really is a classic. Plus it has Micheal Beihn and James Earl Jones as characters. I generally went with GDI as they were the good guys and I saw no benefit in being Nod apart from possibly Stealth technology. I must say though I prefer Red Alert 2 much more. Played it to death online but no buggers play it now Westwood have abandoned it. Bastards!

Surely the journey of the rocket would have been tracked by telescope. I'm sure the Russians would have been the first to point out if there was any foul play at the time. I suppose all subsequent 'fake' misisons to the moon were for their own personal amusement and to waste the taxpayers money. Why fake it again and again when there's no need. I think it is pretty legitimate, I saw one magazine giving away a free couple of acres. Apparently governments can't own land on other planets but there's a loophole allowing individuals and companies to. All very stupid to me, i'd buy some for a laugh simply because it's like £15 for a football field size chunk of land but I don't think anyone takes it seriously... well I hope not for NASAs sake.

Recently there's been a lot of talk about NASA going back to the Moon. There they intend to build a lunar base (space 1999 anyone? yeh only a few decades too late) to launch future space missions to Mars. As I understand it, it's actually possible to purchase land on the Moon legally as this one site would suggest http://www.planetaryinvestments.com/. Does this mean if you owned a possible landing site that NASA would have to pay you for its use or would they simply ignore you as a court case on such a matter maybe be a trifle ridiculous. The obvious solution would be for NASA to buy land for the base. Though I find the fact that the Moon is even owned by person/s quite bizarre. Should we really be carving it up into sections creating yet even more reason for disputes between countries?
