That's true, I've already got high Dvs across the board, so I can afford strong teams to end with, but what's 2nd place worth compared to third anyway? Might be better to train even further for the middle league.

Basically my current one came from Virgin (are I'm very happy with btw) around 5 years ago and I was wondering if I'd get any benefit from a new one. Has the technology changed enough in 5 years to get me faster, more powerful wifi, or will it just be a waste of money?

I understand where you're coming from, but surely everyone is getting crappy nerfed mushrooms etc and getting hit by red shells. If you're falling back to 9th, some people must be rising up to 8th, 7th etc? If you're winning some, and losing others, is that not balanced?

I can understand bitching about the single player, but everyone online is playing the same game with the same randomised item system. If you're doing shit, it's because other people are better than you. I think playing online is kind of like when you go to uni for the first time. At school you may have been the best at this or the cleverest at that, but when you get out into the big wide world you find that you are just plain average.
