Really happy with my new Razer Blade 15. Gave Witcher 3 a quick test this morning and I was getting a pretty stable 60fps on Ultra. Thermals were good as well. I'm sure some more taxing stuff will get them hotter but when I checked during Witcher the cpu was around 63. Now if Yodel could just get me my bloody new hard drive delivered I could start installing other things to test!

That’s good it’s coming tomorrow, I’ve only got a few weeks left on my sub and I was hoping to use Doom Eternal to test my new laptop. Saves me having to buy it.

Extra 1tb SSD to go in the new laptop.

I got the 2019 model; 144hz, RTX 2060, i7, 16gb I think. Pretty much the same as mine then. I got the 2020 version so I think its the newer CPU.

Speaking of odd audio, question for you:

One complaint I’ve had is the audio volume on the voicemails that you get, it’s just too low and I keep missing moments. Specifically:

No, my PS4 games were downloaded to the external hard drive. The rest mode issues seemed to be when people left their games running while going into rest mode so as I don’t do that anyway I’ve been using it as usual. Given that my issue was with Miles originally then turning it off I’m just assuming it’s a general problem.

Having my first PS5 issues now. Playing Miles it glitched out and wouldn’t let me swing or jump, even after a full close and relaunch of the game. Turned the PS5 off completely, came back to it about half an hour later and it crashed on boot. It’s just finished running repair on the console and external hard drive and is now sitting on a black screen for way too long 😬

External hard drive seems to be running fine, no issues with it and the console or any PS4 games running on it. Already downloading more games than I should onto it. Mixture of wanting to test out games to see how they run and an urge to replay a load of old stuff. Of course getting it all at once means I’ll only play about 15 minutes of each but I just don’t know any other way 😆

Now that I 100% disagree with. Nearly all (or possibly all) of Peter’s suit designs were actual suits used in the comics or movies and I was excited to see them in the game but because Miles hasn’t been around all that long he doesn’t really have any variety to pick from so it was just a load of random designs that I have no interest in using.

Grabbed myself a couple more top up cards from ShopTo so I could get Comtrol Ultimate Edition for the PS5 upgrade and then The Messenger. I think those should be it now. Spent much more than I meant to during this console launch. Edit: Damn, the sale on the messenger ended last night

New external drive just arrived so time to move all the PS4 games over to it.

Just finished Miles. Great game. I think I probably prefer Spider-man but that’s just having more of a connection with those characters. This was a much tighter story. Can’t wait to see where they go next.

Scratch that, apparently it was just on my ipad and phone that it wasn't working.

I ordered the shopto one this morning but not been able to get the code yet. Everything i try to it says it can't connect to Sony right now.

Does seem weird that the tracking is retroactive so Sony had the time played for PS4 games as well and just never let us see it until now.
