Started buying some of the old Legends Star Wars comics that Marvel have been re-releasing in their Epic Collections and have been enjoying them so far. There are a few different lines but some are out of print so I’ve been focusing on the ones I can hopefully get full runs of. At the moment that’s The Empire and The New Republic stuff. I do own some of the canon comics as well digitally but I’m holding off buying those again physically to continue the story until they release some bigger editions. There’s too many volumes at the moment.

Well I’m at least feeling a bit more excited for this year’s steam winter sale to get some new games for the Deck.

I just did a lot of refreshing every time it failed until it worked. Even then the message I received was that your order “may” have gone through and to check my account page 😆

This isn’t preorders, it’s reservations to allow you to order later on when there’s stock. Anyway I got one. No idea if I’ll go through with it when the time comes but I didn’t mind paying £4 so I can get one early down the line if I choose to.

Went on a bit of an eBay spree to get some deals: N My comic reading does tend to be almost exclusively super heroes so I figured I would branch out a bit with two of my favourite series.

They came back in stock yesterday through Amazon proper, ready for delivery Saturday but mine never dispatched and now they’re out of stock. Complained on chat and they just kept spouting that it would be delivered by the date provided. I might just cancel. I hate ordering through Amazon sometimes. Edit: I cancelled them. I’ll order again somewhere else down the line when another site gets a discount.

That’s a shame because Fast & Furious 1-7 are great and it’s at least escalating craziness (2 is bad but at least fits in the universe).

Finally got around to watching Hobbs and Shaw last night with @Goafer. I thought it was pretty terrible, probably the worst in the franchise. I thought the action was boring, the back and forth humour felt very forced and it was weird how the sister had more chemistry with her brother than she did with The Rock.

So far I would rank the shows: WandaVision The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Loki Ive enjoyed all 3 but episodes 2 & 3 of Loki had me worried while I think Falcon was just a bit more consistent.

I got used to the eyes very quickly myself. Didn't bother me past that initial introduction.

I really enjoyed Alita, thought it was surprisingly good. Hope it gets a sequel.

Eternal Sonata was always one I meant to play but then never did. I have a feeling I was planning on getting it right around the time my first 360 red ringed and then it just fell to the side.
