Happenstance

I checked and unfortunately any price reductions won't be reflected in my order. Shame but not unexpected. To be honest I was surprised to see this discount so soon after launch so that's good enough for me.

I might have to contact Amazon support and ask if their lowest price guarantee for preorders is the same for an order that’s waiting for stock. If so then if the price goes down further then I should only pay that lower price.

Won't be getting these for a month or two as they are out of stock but they had a big discount today on Amazon so figured I may as well order now then wait. I did love the Samsung Buds Pro I bought earlier this year but they've had nothing but problems the last month or so, switching modes on their own and battery drain so I'm giving up on them.

To be fair on that one, I was looking at those and nearly every tweet was followed by a “damn autocorrect!” one afterwards 😆

I thought we started to look better in the second half of extra time but obviously not enough.

@Hero-of-Time did you ever read Excalibur? That’s the next Epic Collection series that I haven’t ever read but feel like I should.

Ordered vol 2&3 of Onslaught to finish off that story. I wanted to get vol.3 from my usual online comic store as they had the correct details in the listing but for the second time the order failed so I have in and ordered it through Amazon. Different cover and list of comics inside but the correct page amount and isbn so I’m just choosing to believe that they got it confused with the Milestone version. We’ll see tomorrow but if it’s the wrong one then I’ll just send it back.

Despite not being initially happy that we were getting yet more Deathloop footage I actually found myself more interested in the game after last night. I also liked the look of Fist, Sifu and maybe Jett.

I always quite liked that original design for the DS, at least over the phat.

Kane never looked like he would score that penalty. Thank god for the rebound.

After mentioning Astonishing X-Men earlier this week it really got me in the mood to read it again so I tracked down Whedon’s full run on eBay. I own the first basic trade but it’ll be nice to swap it out for these Ultimate Collections. Finished X-Cutioners Song earlier as well. I enjoyed it. Despite knowing of Stryfe for years I don’t think I’ve read a story of his before.

Episode 4 was the first one since Episode 1 that I'd really enjoyed, 2 & 3 I'd found a pretty big letdown. Hopefully it sticks with that quality for the rest of the show.

Looking forward to this. I've been hearing good things about Sony and Indies lately so it'll be interesting to see what's coming out.

Did you ever go back and read New X-Men? I wasn’t always a fan of the art but I thought the stories were pretty great. Astonishing X-Men from Whedon after it as well was brilliant.

Yeah. Going from a YouTube reading list I’ll need: Onslaught Aftermath Trial of Gambit Operation Zero Tolerance The Hunt for Professor X X-Men Blue X-Men Gold Magneto War X-Men vs Apocalypse: The Twelve Revolution Eye of Destruction

I’m sure it’ll be in the load of books I need to get that bridge Onslaught and Grant Morrison’s New X-Men.
