Happenstance

Ah right yeah. Cant see myself backing it to be honest. I've never really had the same love for Rare of old that most Nintendo fans have. A lot of their stuff came at times where I wasnt all that convinced by what they were making. Goldeneye and Perfect Dark were when I was mostly PC gaming so I never found them all that great in comparison and Donkey Kong and Banjo were just at a time where I wasnt all that sure on 3D platformers. I still dont particularly like Mario 64 either.

Replayed the demo of this earlier and actually managed to enjoy myself this time so after liking that and watching the beginners video that Giant Bomb did I'm kind of tempted to order a copy of the game now.

Been playing a bit more today and while I'm still enjoying it, I'm also starting to agree with some of the complaints I've heard about the over use of guns in this game. I barely ever used guns in the first game but I feel like I have to in this one.

Took me all week but I finally got PSO2 working with the English patches. Controller doesnt seem to want to work for me but the keyboard and mouse controls are fine for now. Lot more talking in this though than PSO1.

I absolutely loved the first New Super Mario Bros on DS but by the time I got around to playing the Wii U version it really did just feel like I'd been playing the same game over and over again.

Won these on ebay last night. I was originally just bidding on the Inzanagi figure to fuel my Persona obsession but I saw the guy was also selling the Fullmetal Alchemist figure and couldnt help myself.

Why would owning a Wii U mean I have to post regularly about it? I bought one because there were a couple of games I wanted to play. I have been disappointed with certain things about the console or Nintendo's approach so sometimes I will post about those. At the moment my gaming preference is PS4 and PC but that probably wont always be the case, I go where the enjoyment is. Last gen I played 360 and PS3, the one before that was mostly Gamecube. If you didnt want to answer my question then you didnt have to, there was no need to get all defensive about it.

I'm the same way but I mostly put it down to my lack of interest in most competitive shooters. I remember people coming out of E3 being quite impressed so I just figured it was one of those games thats just not for me.

*Sigh* I didnt even mean the question as an attack as I just genuinely wanted to know as sometimes it really does make it easier to see where someone is coming from with the comments they make.

I'll be interested to hear what you think of this. Personally I think season 2 is better than 1 but I still barely care about the characters. Agent Carter for me was a much better show.

Oh dont worry, once I actually get a bit of practice in then the keyboard and mouse will be back to being the best for this game!

Ah right thats what I was wondering as I know the PC version came out quite a while before the Wii U and 3DS ones. ....speaking of which, I really should get back to that on Steam.

Started playing this last night. Seems like more Hotline Miami which is never a bad thing! Seems though that after all my going on about how im better with keyboard and mouse, I have lost a lot of my skill with them! Gonna have to take some time over the weekend and get used to it all over again.

Nice and embarrising at work today. Stepped away from my desk and when I came back to the office I found a parent there leaving me a note on my pad. She left and when I walked back to sit down I noticed I had left the DMC Devil May Cry Eurogamer comparison article open on my screen. Pretty sure she must have seen it lol

I'll probably wait for a bit more coverage on it, maybe a Giant Bomb quick look video and then if I like the look of it I'll probably get it.
