I thought that kind of game was the natural progression when the Vita came out but then when I was playing games like Uncharted I just always felt like I'd rather be playing it on a big tv. I'm happy with the weird Indy/Japanese machine it became.

Oh yeah that thread is really helpful. Quite a bit I never even knew about. That shows I guess that the support the Vita needed wasnt necessarily just more games being made for it but simple advertising as well.

Such a shame that the Vita wasnt supported more. I actually really like mine and the collection of games I have for it.

As with every year, I'll tune in for the Rumble, probably watch wrestling for a month or two afterwards and then drop off again until the next Rumble.

I never really liked the Miiverse but one way I do like this stuff done is Steam's activity feed. Just a simple page in the client which shows what people have been posting, achievements they've got, games they've bought etc. I thought the PS4 was going to have something similar with their feed but unfortunately that one is very cluttered and doesnt show as much as I'd hoped it would.

Just finished watching the first episode and it really is fascinating stuff. Looking forward to watching the rest of it.

I've heard great things about it so I'm probably going to start watching it next week.

I know I've tried this before and it didnt seem to work so well but why not try again :p @Goafer and I were playing some of the custom made playlists last night with all the stupid jumps and ramps etc and we had a pretty good time. I think it would be good if we could get a group of NE people to start playing the game again every now and again to do a load of playlists or even the heists like we spoke about before. Anyone who is interested then let me know and we'll try and sort out sometime to play.

Playstation VR is still going to be expensive, the only reason it wont be £500 is that its not as powerful. Its a shame that Oculus is launching at £500 but it is a new technology and it was always going to be expensive. It'll come down over time.

I've got the Samsung Gear VR and that really impressed me so I think something like that could work. I just think it would maybe need Nintendo to be a bit more forward thinking than they are at the moment. We'll see though, it would be nice to be surprised.

Oculus Rift becomes available for preorder at 4pm today. I wont be getting one until I get my new gaming PC that could actually run it but its going to be interesting to see what price they are finally going for.

Yeah ive heard quite a few complaints about the eject button on the original PS4s. Thankfully I never use mine and eject using the controller so ive never come across it.

A lot of the time it shows how well the runner has thought about it all before time if they make sure they fill their couch with articulate people from the games community that they are running. Im just watching Metroid Prime at the moment. No sound though as ive also got the football on.

@Goafer and I are working our way through Destiny at the moment so will definitely be up for doing some of the raids when we hit 40. Be good to be able to do them with NE people who will hold our hands and guide us gently through our first raid experiences :p

Thats one of my favourite gaming memories from when I was a kid. Sitting there throwing jellybeans at the blob and then writing down what they all did.

I cant remember what it was but the Boy and his Blob remake just never clicked with me. I absolutely loved the original though.
