I think the difference at least is that it still seems to have its Need for Speed aspects in it as well which makes me feel better about the obvious "inspirations" taken lol. Lets face it though, at this point I just want a Fast & Furious game!

Nintendo really should have programmed in some button shortcuts to this thing. Just reset and save state would have been enough!

Seems to be taking a lot from the Forza Horizon games (not necessarily a bad thing!). I remember liking the Fast & Furious looking scenarios we were shown at E3 so I'll probably be getting the game when it launches.

To be honest you should just play V and if you enjoy it and want to see more you can either find a way to play them or just use Youtube. I ended up watching Giant Bomb's play through of the entire series myself as I always liked the series and wanted to see more but hated the controls and stealth until V. Giant Bomb's is a premium feature though unfortunately so I cant point you to it.

NoClip's Witcher documentary six part series starts on Monday. Really looking forward to watching it.

I might hold off getting this for a week or two as I've already got the SNES Mini arriving tomorrow along with Cuphead coming out which I've already bought and then the usual Destiny 2 at night. Still looking forward to playing it though.

It disgusts me what employees think they can get away with these days

Vulture have listed what they think are the top 100 hardest video game bosses so I thought it would be interesting to see how many people have beaten themselves. http://www.vulture.com/article/100-hardest-video-game-bosses-ranked.html In the top 20 I've only beaten 3 of them, overall I've beaten 20. I dont tend to play hard games like Dark Souls etc as I just find them frustrating so I'm missing quite a few from this list.

One other issue I had with it was character introduction. Its a hard one as I dont know how many of these characters we met in the first two episodes will carry onto the new ship but apart from a couple of characters a lot of them felt very cookie cutter. I dont think I would be able to tell you which was the engineer, doctor or ensign if you stood them in a row. Most other Trek pilots gave each of the main cast enough time that I could tell you about them straight away. As I said though, with this not starting on the main ship that we will be following for at least the first season it will hopefully get better.

How much for Yakuza 2?

There are retro based sites that will sell them but they all tend to mark the price up. Personally I would just recommend sticking to ebay and car boot sales to try and find deals.

I meant to ask, did anyone else think that there was a nod to Star Trek Generations in Discovery ep 2? When the crew member is reading off the damaged decks and gets to the one Commander whatsherface is on its very much like the pause and realization that Sulu's daughter had with Kirk on the Enterprise B.

Just finished watching the first two episodes. I thought it was ok but not brilliant. I feel like they got rid of the one character I actually liked and I still can't stand the way the Klingons or their ships look.

Next item of my collection has arrived. Back to red again!

No idea, this was the first Switch projector I've seen and I don't know enough about regular projectors to be able to compare. From what I can gather, if you point a projector up at the moon and can still watch the movie clearly then its a good one.

To be fair from what I've heard its just not as good of a version as the previous games. Some of it feeling rushed etc.
