Happenstance

How are people trying the skipping? I’ve heard it’s a lot easier undocked as there’s just enough lag using a controller to cause issues.

Harder, but not impossible.

I found the Wii and U versions just kind of meh games that I felt like I'd played before. I still think they should have gone along the retro titles giving them the "New" treatment. I'd love to have seen a "New" version of 2 & 3 from the NES and then a New Super Mario World.

Such a shame as well. I absolutely loved New Super Mario Bros on the DS. I just wish they had progressed the series instead of basically remaking that game all over again.

An online service from Nintendo would never be something I would pay for without features like that fixed.

Just finished watching the movie and thought it was brilliant. I'll probably post some more once I get home and have thought about it more lol. So funny though!

I was so happy to see Spelunky 2 announced yesterday. The first game has given me so many hours of entertainment, its basically my daily game to play. I think my Steam counter for it is about to hit 1500 hours. Of course that doesnt even count the time I spent with the Vita version either!

I think its the changing of whats popular as well. Forums just arent used as much these days. One of the other main forums I used to use decided to shut down and just make the switch to a Discord chat channel instead.

Well its doubtful anything will top the Spelunky 2 announcement now!

Credits are rolling. That was a good fun, well made game. Won't necessarily stick up there as one of my all time favourites but I enjoyed it. One thing hope they address in a sequel is:

Looks like ResetEra are opening registrations in blocks to avoid people flooding in. The discord channel I use is planning on letting people know when it opens again so if I see it I'll post it here. Same as NeoGaf as well you have to have a non-free email address to register with. Thankfully they didnt require that last night for us verified folk

Yeah I saw that as well, I just assumed it meant motion aiming.

The recommendation when you start the game to use the joy cons drives me nuts now. Feels like it hangs there forever!

Yeah I managed to get in during the verified registration blocks last night. Forum seems good so far.

I'm five Kingdoms in so far. Its definitely a fun game. I doubt I'll spend all my time trying to 100% each world but just carry on through to the end. I'm happier going back to them later to try and get more moons.

I'll have to have a look around. I missed that as well.
