I’m going to give Sony at least the benefit of the doubt on this one and hope that this was supposed to be a big reveal later on that more games would be available for it.

Yeah I've ordered a new plug which should go to work tomorrow. To be honest I probably would have just run this from the USB slot on my TV as I did with my SNES Mini but I've read that if you use the 8bitdo receiver (which I will be) or play any superfx chip games then it draws more power and can cause issues.

Yeah from what I've read it's just luck of the draw. Some people got charged on the very first batch, some didnt. I'm not too bothered anyway. I was expecting the import fees and the original delivery date was Friday to begin with. Just would have been nice to get it 2 days early. I also checked my SNES mini last night. Turns out I never used the plug to begin with, just plugged the usb cable into my TV to power it. Need to go dig out the box later to see if the plug is still in there.

Never got an import fee payment warning from DHL this morning so unfortunately by the time I noticed I couldn’t have my NT delivered today. Gonna have to wait until Friday now

Been searching and it looks like you are right about the 5V and 2A. Some UK people are saying they just used their iPhone plugs to power the NT so I'll check tonight and see what USB plugs I have lying around.

Not gonna lie, my eye's slightly glossed over reading all that Voltage stuff has always been one of my big grey areas where I just cannot get my head around it. I'll check my SNES mini tonight though and see what adaptor it has. Hopefully it's the older version as I got it at launch. I'm only planning on using the one hdmi cable and one plug for both the NT and SG so if that works it would be perfect.

Actually @S.C.G I do have a question for you. I asked it both on Era and Reddit but nobody could give me a straight answer. How are you powering your NT? I know it says it has worldwide power but people couldn't tell me if I just needed a simple UK plug with a usb connector to use it or an actual converter.

I'll admit........I didn't even know you had one I'll definitely come to you though if I need any tips. I've watched a load of videos recently so know most of the main ones but I'm sure there's loads more stuff I haven't seen yet. I've got a bid at the moment on a regular Super Gameboy. I was hoping for a Super Gameboy 2 but there were no auctions at the time.

Finally bit the bullet and ordered a Super NT this weekend along with preordering the Mega SG ready for next April. Decided that if those are the two main consoles I want to collect for then I was willing to pay a bit extra to get good hardware. After that of course another eBay binge happened. I dunno, everyone who has actually played it seems to love the swinging so I'm happy enough to just take their word for it at this point.

I'm just wondering if they've added some kind of free roam mode to the game for once you've finished. Maybe that could allow it to still be done. There are a few missable trophies on that list that I can see and some possible ones depending on if the situation stays around or not.

I can see one of those trophies being annoying enough that I'm not sure I'll be able to get it.

Finished the test prints for the dust covers I was talking about the other day. I was originally just gonna go with the smaller bottom only one but I quite like the way the carts sit in the full size cover. Just need to get myself some black filament now so it matches the majority of Mega Drive carts and I can print more for my whole collection.
