Lol, sounds like my usual WWE Network Run as well. I finished watching last night’s Takeover earlier. Some very good matches.

The only thing that puts me off is what a shitty company WWE is. I cancelled my subscription last year after the Saudi Arabia stuff.

There are some very talented guys and girls on the roster at the moment that are worth watching. If you do decide to watch then it wouldnt take long to get a handle on who everyone is. It's also a really good time to get back into wrestling with a new company just being created (by Goldust's brother if you remember him) that should hopefully bring some much needed competition to the WWE. There is also New Japan Pro Wrestling which put on some amazing matches. Here's a few best of vids for WWE and NJPW

NJPW have had to put out an apology for their big upcoming US show. Apparently because of the US Government shutdown they haven't been able to get visas for their top guys so they cant use them in the matches.

Congratulations! If they are identical then I expect you to fully lean into it!

I was originally just planning on going for the one week but you guys have me thinking about two now!

Finally decided to stop putting it off and start saving for and planning a trip to Japan. It's something I've wanted to do for years but never really wanted to go on my own. Figured though that if I don't do it soon, alone or not, then I'll probably never do it. I expect it'll most likely be late next year, probably October but I think that gives me a good amount of time to get over a load of hangups I probably still have, save up a nice sum of money to make it an amazing trip without having to sacrifice events this year that I want to go to and to also attempt to learn at least some Japanese to help me while I'm there. Given how down I've felt lately, having something like this to start working towards has really given me a boost.

Two songs I've been listening to a lot recently as both bands will be at the Japanese Metal music festival I've got tickets to in October. Still looking forward to hearing more band announcements.

I still need to get back to Thimbleweed Park. I bought it on PC ages ago and then barely touched it.

AGDQ 2019 kicks off today. 4.30pm for the preshow and then 5.00pm for the first game (Hollow Knight).

New Japan have just announced a London show for 31st August this year. Gonna have to get some tickets as I really enjoyed that NJPW/Rev Pro show earlier this year.

All Elite Wrestling Announced (Stolen from Era) This from the same group behind "All In" back in September. Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks. The money backing is coming from Tony Khan, whose father is one of the richest men in the country and owns the Jacksonville Jaguars and Fullham FC. Multiple offers have been made for TV deals, but none have been signed yet. The current expectation is that they will start airing weekly TV later this year. They are throwing around significant money and multi-year deals to secure talent, and already have guys under contract that haven't been revealed yet. More will be revealed next week at a press conference in Jacksonville

Atlus have always done their own streams etc when it comes to proper game announcements.

It's looking like there will be a big Persona 5 announcement today in around 3 hours time. From what people have seen from leaked web domains etc it might be the announcement of a "Golden" style release, possibly on Switch as well which would line up with the Smash Bros character reveal. Will be nice to get more people playing this awesome series if so.

Probably the last update to my top 10 but I bought Dead Cells and have been really enjoying it so it needs adding. Might have been pushed up higher but I'm still learning so not got massively far yet. I think I’m ready to admit that I hate Christmas Day. I tend to look forward to Christmas and the time of year but then inevitably by the end of Christmas Day I end up feeling like shit. I’m sitting in my room feeling depressed about how pathetic my life is and then feeling guilty for not being downstairs spending time with family.
