  1. Also picked this up over the weekend, thanks to Tellyn's tip. I love it. It's the best 'quirky' title on Wii by far. Spent 3 hours on it allready, and I'm up to world 3. Think I'll be coming back to it a lot to try and do the challanges, just like Wario Land has me coming back now and again.
  2. The Bourne Ultimatum Never been a big fan of the previous Bourne films but this one was very good. Very thrilling and some impressive set-piece's. My only complaint - too much 'shaky-cam'. Space Cowboys Had high hopes for this film from Eastwood but it was somewhat disappointing. Story wasn't epic/in-depth enough and not enough time was spent on several scene's. Looking forward to Gran Torino later this month! Tallageda Nights Dull comedy. One of Will Ferrell's worst.
  3. Agh....just noticed that in the e-mail.... May not be that good a deal then, but let's hope they don't change it.
  4. Mario Tennis is available for £17.99 at ShopTo Could be a mis-price, as the R.R.P say's £19.99 and Pikmin's on sale at £24.99 with an R.R.P of £29.99 and that's out in less than a week! Oh, and use this code for a £1 discount! 'shoptovoucher2'
  5. Downloaded the Springsteen songs. Born to Run is a classic to play to. Seriously? 'Jet' would be awesome.
  6. Any reports on how long it would take to complete the game yet?
  7. "Junior? It's is you Junior!" Awesome news for me I'd heard the rumours that the PS3 and 360 version had been canned, so I was slightly worried that we'd never see a true Indy game on a console this gen, but this is just great. Hope we can see some in-game screenshots/footage soon.
  8. I'll help, even tho I hated psychology when I did it as an AS.
  9. Be Kind Rewind A mess of a film. Total garbage. Monster House A good idea, but they didn't pull it off well. Lame second half, and I found the animation to be rather ugly. Transporter 1 + 2 After enjoying Shoot Em Up very much, I gave these two a go. Some pretty decent car chase's, but otherwise nothing worth mentioning. Jason Statham has got to be one of the worst "actors" ever. A Perfect World Great film. Kevin Costner escape's from prison and abducts a young boy as a hostage, and both form an unlikely friendship on their travels. Emotional ending.
  10. I checked my bank statement today and also saw that I havent been charged yet. Will probably do the same as you tomorrow.
  11. £6.50 at my local Cineworld, while it's £3.80 at an independent cinema on the island, but I've only been there once as it's in the centre of chav city, a very dirty place and doesn't have a very good screen. I have thought about buying an Unlimited card, but I don't know if it's worth it as my local Cineworld is about 40 miles, so all the money I think I'm saving, might just be going on extra petrol.
  12. I've been to the cinema by myself on many occasions, and seen quite a few others who do the same thing. I'm not embarrased about it or anything, but if I tell a friend I went on my own, they seem to think I'm some freak. As ReZ said, if you're with a friend, you're going to be silent anyway, so it's not like you're missing out on anything, just the company there and back. Quite a few films out at the cinema I want to see next month, so I'll be doing several 'solo' trips to the cinema to see the action/drama type of films and seeing the comedies with friends. When I saw Wall-E at the cinema (on my own) I felt like a phedofile...
  13. I've ordered from them a couple of times, and they are slow, but they come very well packed so that's something I suppose. Give it at least 7-10 working days, and if you'd don't hear anything, give them a call. I ordered mine Wednesday night, and hope to get it before the end of the month.
  14. Intrested in :- House of the Dead Overkill - may wait for a price drop on this however! Dead Rising - day one purchase. Don't care about the graphics, it looks like a lot of fun! Mad World - Somewhat intrested, just need to read some feedback before buying. This year's No More Heroes? I might also buy a 360 for Resi 5 if there's a good bundle in the shop's around that time. Playing catchup with - Animal Crossing, Wii Fit, Call of Duty's online mode, and Guitar Hero World Tour - I've found time for almost all of them every single day over the past 4 to 5 weeks or so. Manhunt 2 - got it off Play.com before Christmas, but haven't played it yet. Should entertain me through a rainy weekend I hope.
  15. Toy Story is the definitive Pixar film. As many have said, I also have fond memories of it (see below), it's one of my most watched films ever, and I'm pretty sure I've watched it more in recent years than I did when I was younger. Toy Story was going to become the first film I was going to see at the cinema, but I chickened out, as I was afraid of being in the dark... After a lot of nagging I got a Buzz Lightyear toy when the film was released. But if I had to choose between Buzz and Woody now, I think I'd prefer a Woody. Werid. I had the Toy Story video game on SNES and GB, and they were pretty good. Some classic platforming, stealth missions in Pizza Planet and racing on top of R.C. Good times! I also collected the Toy Story stickers and think I completed the album. Go me! Also, Toy Story, was the first thing I ever pre-ordered, and I got a free mug with it. Now to find that mug!! Toy Story Toy Story 2 Finding Nemo WALL-E A Bug's Life Ratatouille Monsters Inc The Incredibles Cars
  16. Yeah, I'm really tempted to buy Sheik, as I'm thinking of getting the Ocarina of Time Link when it's released, and they'd both look good together on a shelf, but I hardly have any room left to display all my valuable junk!
  17. Just incase someone's intrested, I recived the Forbidden Planet New Year's sale catalogue in the post this morning, and they have discounted the Sheik and Metroid statues. Sheik statue - £29.99 Metroid statue - £39.99
  18. £13.99 HMV Always wanted to give Bill Bailey's stand up a watch, so with all 4 of his DVDs available for that price, how could anyone resist?
  19. No Country For Old Men Not the masterpiece it's made out to be, but still worth a watch. The scene's with Josh Brolin and Javier Bardem keep you hooked and are quite tense at times, but I'm afraid to say that every time Tommy Lee Jones was on screen, I was very very bored. Night at the Musuem Disappointing. If Steve Carell was in Ben Stiller's role it may of have been better, but there were plenty of entertaining cameos to enjoy. Shoot Em Up Brilliant fun. Action, 2 minutes of dialogue, action, 2 minutes of dialogue, action etc... for 90mins. A live action comic with OTT action.
  20. I wasn't aware that the MySims brand had sold that well. If the Wii version has Wi-Fi racing (not just the DS one) I might buy it if I see it at a good price one day  Would much rather Mii Racing though....
  21. Ha! That raised a chuckle. Has anybody actually been using Wii Fit regulary since they got it? I went on the board almost everyday between May - early August and got in pretty good shape thanks to it, but during the last half of 2008, hardly used it at all, and due to that, I've put on quite a bit of weight. My work pattern has now changed though, so I have time in the morning to go on it, so as one of my new year resolution's, and with Wii Fit's help I'm hoping to get back in shape. Woo!
  22. £4.99 from Play. Been wanting to see it for a while.
