I don't think Corsa's are all that bad. Back in my learner days someone had crashed the crappy Hyundai i30 which every learner my instructor had hated. So as a courtesy car my instructor got a Corsa 1.3 eco flex which I really loved, mainly due to the fact it was fitted with a turbo. All I'm saying is you can do plenty worse than a Corsa (like a fiat 500) I probably wouldn't buy one now, but it was a good car for getting a need for speed. That being said I've seen quite a lot of learners in my area learning in Audi's which leaves me quite puzzled.

Which is why I somewhat question the article now as it stated that the snapdragon is likely but may just be engadget conjecture. Unless qualcomm are developing a new chip with enhanced graphics capability, something like the hummingbird chip in the galaxy S would make more sense. Infact there are several chips out there with better graphics performance than snapdragon. The industry has just moved on so much since that chip was revealed almost over a year ago.

Sounds interesting and is a pretty good idea if true. Android has helped a lot of companies bring the mobile arm from the brink of destruction. Not too sure about the snap dragon part, as it doesn't have amazing graphics performance. Built more for speed and number crunching performance.

Froyo update 2.2 in available for UNLOCKED HTC desires this weekend. Carrier versions coming soon. T-mobile version coming in September no word from other carriers. This thread got my hopes up. Now I am filled with sadness. Regardless this was one of those series, that perhaps were a little above the heads of the general US populace resulting in falling ratings and finally being pulled. Ack my bad. I hadn't actually looked at your mobo so I took the "nforce 680i" as some crazy acronmy for integrated graphics on an Nvidia chipset. Well as far as europe goes the desire is still htc's flagship device. There are rumors of a htc desire HD which will be an evo caliber device for the european market.

The desire is a nexus one with htc sense and a memory boost.

Wes since you've got on board graphics try the test again utilizing that alone instead of your dedicated card. You'll either have an option in the bios or you'll have to remove it. Will help to see if the situation is fully the result of the gpu. If problems don't occur you'll have to look at RMA'ing the card.

Nightly tester tools allows you to force install FF addons. For example at work I have the Salesforce toolbar installed in firefox 3.6.6 when support for it ended at FF2.
